The food was lovely. The place itself is spacious yet cosy. Staff are friendly. We went there for lunch. We both had drinks, mine was the super green smoothie which was amazing. I had the curry (coronation) wrap with garlic and Parsley fries. My husband had the Jack fruit gyro and sweet potato fries... Both were lovely and full of flavour aswell as being very filling. The wraps seem at first glance, a bit expensive at nearly £10 each, but they are pretty big and definitely worth the price. I will be visiting again soon for the rainbow bowl next 👌

What a place! A great venue, really helpful, friendly staff, and a diverse menu of amazing vegan food. All four of our party ordered different food, including a bean stew, moussaka, nachos, and Greek salad bowl, and everyone was really happy with their choice - even the non-vegans. The signature dish, a vegan scotch egg, was particularly good! And the prices were pretty reasonable too. Massive thanks for a great evening, and for keeping the kitchen open for us when we were delayed. We'll definitely be coming back whenever we pass this way in future.

Was a really enjoyable and tasty lunch. The food was so tasty and the waitress was knowledgeable on each dish. I usually don't eat vegan but I am glad I tried it as mentioned, it was thoroughly enjoyable. The restaurant setting is very church style looking with high vaulted ceilings.

I'm vegetarian rather than vegan, but the Cosmic Kitchen's menu contained a really good selection of choices. My rainbow bowl (see photo) was a great selection of different salads, each one really tasty. My carnivorous wife's jackfruit wrap was filling and very much enjoyed. The brownie and dairy-free ice cream was delicious, as was the oat milk latte. All the staff were welcoming and very friendly. We're definitely looking forward to a return visit.

We had their Sunday roast (it is a nut roast)and it was amazing!! Everything was well seasoned and cooked perfectly. I would definitely come back to have this meal and I highly recommend it to vegetarians and non-vegetarians. The meal came as a deal with dessert and a drink (for £24 total). We tried their sundae and peanut butter cup - both are good choices for those with a sweet tooth. However the roast left us immensely full so the desserts were a slight struggle to finish. Worth it tho! The staff were friendly and they even made gravy for us when we asked if we could have more! The decor in the restaurant is really lovely, and I can imagine their outdoor courtyard will be a fantastic place to hang when the weather is good. They also have live music at night

Wow what a find! Absolutely some of the best vegan food. We had the salad bowls (Rainbow and Greek) and the incredible scotch "egg". So delicious. The peanut butter cup at the end was also incredible. Thanks!!!!

Beautiful, delicious food. Very reasonably priced. I recommend the nachos if you are hungry! The desserts were amazing. We ate a LOT of amazing food because we wanted to try lots of stuff, but could easily have shared the massive nachos and had fries each and eaten for £10 a head I think. Either way, well worth the money.

An oasis of calm, nourishing food and great staff! I came here while on a day trip to Plymouth from London. Up at 5am and hadn't eaten until I arrived here around 2pm. Staff were accommodating of my cheeky plea to charge my phone (train tickets were on it). The food was fantastic. My only problem was that I wanted to eat everything on the menu! I had the Greek bowl which was I think their rainbow bowl with extra Greek stuff such as vegan feta, a dolma and olives. Every bite was fantastic. I managed to fit in some carrot cake and strawberry ice cream (everything is vegan). Happy to find the carrot cake was not overly sweet which is often the case. The building has a high wooden ceiling, you can see the beams. The windows are stained glass. So a wonderful place to be on a hot day - slightly dark, and cool from the air circulation. Last note about loos - kind, inclusive labelling. I wish I'd taken more photos but - the phone was charging. I will be returning on my next visit to Plymouth. 😁

Our first visit to Cosmic Kitchen (we aren’t local, although I wish we were!) The food was amazing 😋 I had the nachos which were delicious and my little one loved the mac and cheeze. Such a lovely setting too. We got our food to takeaway but will definitely visit again next time we are in Plymouth. My husband who isn’t vegan really enjoyed the food too. Thank you!

The Cosmic Kitchen is a cosy yet cool must-visit place to eat and drink in Plymouth, serving flavourful, mouthwatering vegan dishes. The owners describe it themselves as „Good Mood Food“ - and it is no exaggeration to say that. We had a small lunch (soup of the day/hummus/bread) and it made us smile. Amazing service and super friendly staff.

This is a must, not only for Vegans but for all who delight in the most exquisite fresh ingredients. The dishes which I had the pleasure to try were simply the most taste-bud tingling sensation I've ever experienced. The service was exceptional, the atmosphere was so fitting. Couldn't recommend this gem of a place more. If you are wanting to experience a journey of taste sensations, then head to this place, you will not be disappointed.

We were a walk in on Sunday 10th September and had an absolutely fantastic meal. My husband and I have been here before and the quality of the food has stayed the same. My husband had the Greek bowl and I had the jackfruit wrap with garlic and parsley fries. Both were absolutely delicious. I would have gone for the vegan Sunday nut roast but I was unable to as it had almonds in it and unfortunately I am allergic. The gentleman who informed us was so helpful and offered to swap out the nut roast for the beetroot falafel. Not many places would swap things out so this was a nice gesture. We had the oreo and vanilla ice cream for dessert and it was just as delicious as last time We've always had good food each time we have been and always left full as the portions have been so generous Will definitely be back again

I had lunch there with some friends yesterday and had an amazing experience. It's located near everything you might want to visit in Plymouth and the decoration and atmosphere were amazing. It feels really cozy inside and inclusive. All the staff was super nice and still they were super busy but very attentive with clients. It's also probably very safe for the LBTQ+ community as all of the bathrooms are non binary. The food was amazing. I had the Homemade Moussaka and it was amazing. It comes with a side of salad and dressing and it was delicious. It tasted very homey. Also the quantity was more than enough for one but I eat a lot and was hungry. Overall it was an amazing experience and I'll probably go back if I have the chance. PS: it's better if you book a table beforehand. We did not book a table but we were lucky.

Visited today for the first time. The food was incredible - easily in the top ten dishes I've ever had at a restaurant. Everything on the menu sounded great so it took us a while to decide but the salads we had were outstanding. The brownie and ice cream for dessert was also excellent.

Absolutely brilliant! Booked for 16 people for a birthday gathering - needed to pay a £10 per person deposit and have pre-orders which was absolutely fine! Arrived and were seated, drinks were ordered and arrived and then food came out promptly after! Food was delicious and the service was amazing as well! Would definitely recommend and will be returning again!

Tucked away in the central part of the city and a converted chapel, it has great ambiance and service. If you're looking for world class vegan dining in Plymouth, look no further than Cosmic Kitchen.

Visit Plymouth for work and looked for vegan restaurants. This has to be my favourite vegan restaurant I’ve been to in over 6 years. The food to delicious, reasonably priced and the staff are all really friendly. Lovely outdoor setting for those 3 months of the year we get some some, today was one of those days, thankfully lots of natural shade too. I moved inside to the old church building and they’ve done the interior really well, they have speakers set up so looks like a proper jive in the evenings! I had the focaccia and hummus side with a past with lentil bolognaise for main, which was soo tasty, they didn’t skimp on the fresh basil either as you’ll see from the picture. I wish I could have had the butter bean stew too, but alas I’m too full! I would highly recommend to both vegans and non vegans alike, just superb.

The best vegan restaurant around! The staff were extremely accommodating and help to provide gluten free alternatives and some of the best vegan food I have ever eaten. We are regular customers and always bring new non-vegans with us - their response is always "you wouldn't even know it was vegan!". The mother's day afternoon tea this year was especially brilliant and the sunday roast is always stunning! Big fans! :)

Lovely food in a truly gorgeous old building just off Plymouth City Centre, we found this place randomly hunting for lunch and the menu grabbed us. They call it a "small menu" but it has a wide selection that all sounded amazing, salads, wraps, toasties etc. We chose the special mezze sharer along with their in house speciality of a vegan scotch egg and a couple smoothies. The sharer was generous and all delicious, the biggest surprise was what the menu had simply as tortilla chips. Instead of the expected handful of standard sized chips we got a pair of huge home made chips that were spiced beautifully. Special mention for the vegan scotch egg as well which is apparently a house speciality and well worth the visit all by itself. Even for a pair of omnivores this was a really amazing lunch in a beautiful location with friendly staff, will definitely want to go back to try more of the menu.

Amazing food, service and ambience. The Biscoff brownie with salted caramel ice cream was delectable 😋 I had the seitan wrap with paprika fries and my daughter had the Greek salad bowl🇬🇷 🥗 always a joy to come here

An amazing little restaurant slightly out of Plymouth's main tourist area. They emphasise healthy and wholesome options (all veggie/vegan) which manage to be super delicious and fresh, leaving you satisfied and feeling great! The staff are also super friendly, service prompt, and the ambience and decor very relaxed and welcoming. Would wholeheartedly recommend :)

The food is delicious and 100% vegan to make it even better. The place looks great and the people I was with can't stop raving about their food. The staff was friendly but unfortunately, I couldn't stay so had a takeaway of a wrap and a smoothie but family and I are very impressed. If we didn't live half way across the country, we'd become regulars here.

The food was wonderful, tasty and value for money. The vegan sausage rolls were dilicious. Salad bowl filled with such beautiful flavours. The staff were so friendly and accommodating. The room turned into an old school disco with a good fun vibe. All in all what a great place.

Amazing food - decent portion sizes and bursting with flavour. We had the seitan wrap, garlicky fries and the nacho sharer. All delicious! Staff were very friendly and the place had a great ambience. An absolute must visit!

Came here with family that we don't see very often at all. Most of which are vegan. So our first thought was here! And we weren't disappointed. Couple of non-vegan members (including myself) would highly recommend and will be returning. Food is flavoursome with generous portions. Lots of options on the menu. The staff were very accommodating and friendly. Thank you so much for such an enjoyable evening

A quirky little gem! We stumbled on this place and luckily they fit us in. The food was amazing, we are not vegan but the choice was great it was so tasty 😋

The staff here are incredibly chill and genuine. They made the whole dining experience lovely. The music selection is spot on (Phoebe Bridgers while you're eating??? You get depressed from the tunes but lifted back up with how nice the food is). Unreal vegan scotch egg. Reyt. Let me tell u. Back in my omni days, I loved a good scotch egg. Obvs am now repulsed at the thought of a real one but this vegan one was *chefs kiss*. Evenly cooked, amazingly crispy coating, well-seasoned 'sausage'. Lovely interior. Just a really pleasant dining experience to distract me from the fact I'm down south.

Staff was super friendly! Food was the best in Plymouth by far, fully vegan, mostly local and made to perfection. The Greek bowl was to die for!

  • 5/5 Rosie W. 2 years ago on Google
We enjoyed the sausage rolls here more than 'real' sausage rolls, and the food converted one in our party who was dreading eating vegan food. Live music was a great vibe and there was a photographer which got some lovely snaps of our night, Highly recommended.

Stayed down in Plymouth and this vegan place is an absolute gem recommended it to us by family from the area. Love the space, quirky and customer service was great. Food was so good as well, garlic and parsley fries were 👌🏻. I had one of the salad bowls and it’s the only meal I took a photo of, flavours were amazing. Would definitely visit again! Thank you Cosmic kitchen for creating awesome vegan food.
