is
amazing!
My
partner
and
I
shared
the
creamy
chicken
and
pepper
starter,
then
had
the
meat
feast
calzone
and
four
cheese
penne
for
mains.
Each
dish
was
so
warming,
fresh
and
tasty,
and
we
so
wish
we’d
have
had
the
time
to
visit
again
on
our
short
trip.
The
food
is
comparable,
but
I’d
honestly
say
better
than,
any
non-vegan
equivalents
and
it
was
really
hard
to
believe
the
food
we
were
eating
was
vegan,
particularly
the
cheese
elements
of
the
dishes
which
were
all
perfection.
Service
was
a
huge
highlight
too.
The
whole
restaurant
was
full
when
we
went
on
a
Saturday
night,
but
in
spite
of
that
the
service
was
attentive,
food
came
out
quickly
and
the
two
servers
were
generally
just
lovely.
Both
were
working
very
hard
given
how
busy
it
was
but
the
whole
atmosphere
never
reflected
that
in
a
negative
way
-
they
helped
create
a
very
relaxed
environment
and
there
was
a
great
buzz
about
the
restaurant.
They
also
provided
us
with
a
couple
of
free
limoncellos
given
that
we
were
celebrating
my
birthday
which
was
really
sweet.
Restaurant
was
clean,
cosy
and
tables
were
well-spaced
apart.
Portion
sizes
were
really
generous
and
well-priced.
Overall
just
a
really
amazing
dining
experience
and
so
glad
to
see
that
this
place
won
Edinburgh
Trattoria
of
the
year
2021
as
it
clearly
deserves
it
-
holds
its
own
to
any
non-vegan
Italian
restaurant
I’ve
been
to
and
there’s
evidently
a
lot
of
love
and
passion
that
goes
into
the
restaurant
and
the
food.
Can’t
wait
to
go
back
on
our
next
visit
to
Edinburgh.
