Old building of Bihar Rajya Khadi Gramodyog Board is revamped to create Khadi Mall by Government of Bihar. Khadi Mall is an initiative to sell handloom, hand crafted, small scale home industrial products under one roof on bigger scale in grander space by Bihar Rajya Khadi Gramodyog Board to match the trending mall culture and attract younger crowd. Situated between two cinema Halls and many fast food joints location is ideal for the purpose. Total of three floors with washrooms on ground floor, lifts and stairs provide plenty of space for traditional unstitched, readymade, cotton, silk and woollen clothing, leather footwear, handicrafts including paintings, sculptures, vases, dolls, flowers, Jute utility bags, foodstuffs and cosmetics. Digital payment facility is available. Wheelchair friendly entrance and parking is not available.

I guess this is one of the best places in Patna for buying khadi related and Handmade items because the collection is really huge and also you buy other hand made and food products too. Here you can find tailor too , so nothing problem regarding fit and finish. In entrance there is huge statue of Mahatma Gandhi which feels really good. I would like to rate it 5/5. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Genuine cottage industry products. You can really make out the difference of hand weaved textile here! If u appreciate textiles and art! Specially related with πŸŒ…chhath pooja related materials. Many of the Kadhi stores have unfortunately become outdated. They stock an excellent range of cloths for both men and women. Ready made garments are also available. Cloth from dhoti to bedspreads; from herbal products through to a wide range of incense, they have something for everyone. And the prices are affordable!

"Khadi Mall, a gem operated by the Government of Bihar, is a treasure trove for silk and khadi enthusiasts. The silk collection from Bhagalpur is a testament to exquisite craftsmanship, and the khadi options are both stylish and sustainable. What sets this mall apart is its commitment to affordability – offering top-notch quality at very reasonable rates. A haven for those who appreciate fine textiles and traditional craftsmanship without breaking the bank. A must-visit for a unique shopping experience!"

Khadi is a versatile fabric. It has the unique property of keeping the wearer warm in winter as well as cool in summer season. This fabric has coarse texture and gets easily crumpled, therefore in order to keep it firm and stiff, starch is to be added. This fabric on washing is more enhanced thus the more you wash it, the better it looks. Khadi is not easily worn out for years together, at least for 4-5 years. Very attractive and designer apparel are made by doing handwork on the garments made from it. Khadi spinning is generally done by girls and women and weaving mostly by men. During spinning of khadi the threads are interwoven in such a manner that it provides passage of air circulation in the fabric. Apart from this unique property, it also provides warmth in winter season which is quite surprising factor. Khadi cotton is required to be starched so that it does not get easily crumpled. It comes in many colors and is not harmful to the skin as synthetic fabrics. This cotton is very soothing in summer season as ample amount of air ventilation is there. It has the capacity to absorb moisture therefore it easily soaks the sweat and keeps the wearer cool and dry. Khadi cotton comes in plain as well as in printed fabrics. The most common outfit of made from khadi cotton is the 'Kurta'. Many types of apparel are manufactured from khadi cotton like saris, salwar suits, fabric yarns, western tops, shirts, trousers, skirts, handkerchief, etc. It is a very durable fabric.

The Khadi and Village Industries Commission has opened a β€œKhadi Mall”at Gandhi Maidan in Patna to retail Khadi textiles, clothing, and handcrafted products and promote the handloom industry in Bihar.😊😊😊 This new Khadi Mall was inaugurated by the Chief Minister of Bihar Nitish Kumar on November 5.😊😊😊 This mall represents a wider initiative of the Union Government to promote Khadi textiles and handcraft products in order to increase domestic production which should lead to a decrease in imports. Increasing handloom textile production is also designed to increase employment opportunities and promote sustainable fashion as Khadi is eco-friendly compared to machine and synthetic fibre textiles.😊 This Mall is very neat and clean. Here you have to see the statue of *Mahatma Gandhi* and it's Charkha which represents you a Pure things of Indian history.😊😊😊😊 Thank you 😊 πŸ™πŸ™πŸ™πŸ™πŸ™πŸ™πŸ™

It's basically a well organised cottage industry promoter. Also it promotes local art and culture. A great experience as you can find unique artworks, sculptures, figurines and many items made by Bamboo. Cutleries made of wood and pottery of clay. Also some rare and precious species of millets. Food items manufactured by some local cottage industry. Clothings.. Also some decorative items that you can easily buy at cheaper rates from the market.. 🀭 You're gonna love this place if you are fond of crafts made up of natural and organic materials. ⚠️ Price may not feel worthy.

If you are a connoisseur of folk artisans and don't have the opportunity to visit districts and villages, this is the place from where you can purchase products developed by local artists, Women group/self help groups. Under one roof you can shop clothes, bed covers, bed sheets, hand crafted materials, artisans. Best place to buy gift items for anyone. I found it reasonable. Do not hesitate, go ahead and promote the local products. It's completely worth.

This is a good attempt to promote Khadi. Usually associated with rural, handmade products, Khadi was loosing its sheen after about 7 decades of independence. With regrowth of "Vocal for Local" and such attempts it is again gaining prominence in the market. This is very much like a mall where we go to purchase clothing and accessories. The product range varies from clothes, shoes, belts, bags, home dΓ©cor to handicrafts. The ground floor also has a loom installed which might interest people who have never seen one. Ground floor has mostly sarees and ethnic wear for women whereas on the first floor sweater, jackets, and ethnic wear for men too. Handicrafts and paintings of local make (Madhubani Paintings) find a place on both the second and third floor. There's a dedicated section of makeup products, one for pickles and dried food items which can interest those who look for organic food. Usually bhajans made famous by Gandhi can be heard playing in the background. Overall an excellent place to visit.

Khadi Mall is beautifully designed with eye-catching interior decoration. You can purchase handloom varieties of ethnicwear, dress materials, sarees, etc. Cosmetics like shampoos, soaps, hair oils, face packs, etc. You can also purchase Madhubani Paintings and brass utensils. It must be noted that Khadi outsources most of its products. Staffs are everywhere to help you. But after discount prices are also quite high. Quality wise all products are awesome but in order to promote Khadi, prices should be subsidized or kept low so that everyone can afford.

Hand made items are good, khadi clothes and dresses are also good but the problem is it is too much costly especially some daily item like sattu, besan which are double in amount. Price of daily items should pe at least of market rate.

In patna city you can get all bihar themes of craft to decor your home with painting and showcase as well variety of herbal care products and wearable in khadi. So colorful design where you can think ethnic to wear on occasions as well casual use. But no option for child below age 12. Cost wise little high but one place you can get decorating items for home and fashion or you can say ethnic ans bihar themes for all genre

I visited the mall under the festive sale which will end on 13th of November. The mall is well spread for khadi collection. I find the prices also very reasoned. Quality of the product is yet to be tested.

All cleaning and hygiene maintained all staffs in authentic way service quality is far good .. Gandhi ji also infront of entrance that good view πŸͺŸ lift πŸ›— facilities available and range of all products available..but the inside they are selling local brand juice mango no water for free and no one asking for water and all... So price is high but service not according to price atleast ask for water it's simple
