Peaceful place for a day out, premises maintained very well even the garden area. Place is filled with positivity and peace And no need to mention about the architecture, the pictures of church are like pictures taken in Britain. As this is the first church I visited, I don't know what else to say about it but I had a wonderful day.

⛪⛪⛪⛪⛪ The Medak Cathedral Church, located in Medak, Telangana, India, is a remarkable architectural gem steeped in history. Constructed between 1914 and 1924 by the British Wesleyan Methodists, it stands proudly as one of the largest cathedrals in India. The edifice's imposing Gothic Revival style is characterized by towering spires and intricate stained glass windows, showcasing the meticulous craftsmanship of its builders. Inside, the cathedral's grandeur unfolds with a vast nave, adorned in beautiful decorations and featuring a magnificent altar. The interior's architectural splendor is complemented by the awe-inspiring stained glass windows, depicting vivid scenes from the Bible. This artistic portrayal adds a layer of spiritual significance and aesthetic beauty to the sacred space. Beyond its architectural magnificence, Medak Cathedral holds cultural and spiritual importance. It has become a prominent place of worship, drawing pilgrims and visitors alike. The cathedral stands as a symbol of unity, connecting people through faith and shared reverence for its historical significance. As one explores the cathedral, the captivating ambiance further enhances the visitor's experience. The serene atmosphere within the sacred walls invites contemplation and reflection. Medak Cathedral, with its rich history and architectural grandeur, stands as a testament to the enduring legacy of religious and cultural heritage in the heart of Telangana, India.

Magnificent architecture and the cathedral is considered to be the best in South East Asia. The 3 magnificent stained glass windows depicting different phases in the life of Lord Jesus are the excellent examples of the workmanship. Cathedral is open to all, irrespective of faith and this is the main attraction in Medak town.

Nice and peaceful place. It was a splendid experience coming to this church. Beautiful architecture. Many people come to this place at weekend. I visited it at around 10-11 am in the morning. It was crowded a bit. I could hear the bell from the medak fort. Loved it.

The Church is Majestic. Built in 1924, the tower looks as if it touching the skies. Inside the roof has a very intricate design and the walls are filled with color glasses telling life incidents of Lord Jesus. There is a Pipe organ. British architecture with Italian finishing. 1 1/2 hr drive from Hyderabad.

Spectacular architecture and view. No doubt why so many people would love to travel here for a weekend trip. Nice and peaceful with proper covid precautions. No photography inside church, however, I could manage one before I was told. You could shop from the very little available stalls and lemon soda is the only food/beverage you could get within the premise. Loved the place!!

Last week Saturday 24/7/21, I came to visit this cathedral with my family. The Cathedral is very nice and clean. The area surrounding the cathedral is very well maintained. is one of the largest churches in India and has been the cathedral church of the Diocese of Medak of the Church of South India since 1947. The Cathedral also sees over the Diocese of Medak, which is the single largest diocese in Asia and the second largest diocese in the world. The entire place is spread across 1000 acres of land. The cathedral is 100 ft (30 m) wide and 200 ft (61 m) long. It can accommodate about 5,000 people at a time. Ample space for parking and it is situated on the main road so no problem taking your car. The biggest attraction of the Cathedral are its stained glass windows depicting different scenes from Christ's life.

I visited this place on Sunday, I have attended prayer till 1:30pm and then cooked food under banyan tree with family and enjoyed the lunch. The problem I faced here is the washrooms are too far. The major problem here is beggers, they literally sucks your blood.

The cathedral is majestic and beautiful but internet gives incorrect information about its age and the artworks. . Internet keeps saying its very very old but it's less than 100 years old . Also the net says that it has awesome stain glass work inside the church but it's painted glass and not stain glass. . The sermon inside is in Telugu and hence couldn't catch it. Unfortunately, photography inside was prohibited but overall it was good. . There is a park outside where you can sit and rest.

Best Cathedral in Telengana, the church is more than a century old and has gothic architecture which is quite unique in India. Its huge size, walls, high ceilings and thick beams are truly amazing. The stain glass inside the church is rare gem of artwork depicting Jesus Christs life and a must see if visiting. The cathedral is in a huge area, with ample parking, rest room and other amenities provided to all patrons visiting. If going to Medak, make it a must place to stop, amaze and pray.

Although it looks very new, I see that it was built on December 25, 1924. The board said it was the largest church in the state of Telangana, the largest in Asia and the second largest diocese in the world. Let me tell you that Diocese means Protestant United Church. The cathedral is 200 feet long and 100 feet wide. 5,000 people can sit together and pray. There are many English cottage type Pilgrims Rest House for the convenience of fans coming from far and wide. I heard the bell tower of the cathedral 175 feet high. One of the best assets of the cathedral is the stained glass windows around the altar and inside the cathedral at various times in the life of Christ.

A holy day with a crowded place – be cautious about the photographers near the church tempting you for gambling. The photos you take will take 1 hour for printing. Specifically, this pertains to the old church in Telangana under the CSI ministries. It tends to be very crowded on weekends, so it's advisable to visit on other days.

Good place to visit. Architecture has a European vibe. But most of the crowd is not following rules. It was clearly mentioned that no photography allowed inside the church and still people keep taking pictures for WhatsApp and Instagram post, causing disturbance for real devotees. Church management should enforce strict rules to not allow phones inside the church or fine the people if they take out phones inside the church.

This Church is really good more than 100+ years old and the construction is really good, thousands of people are visiting this place. Maintenance of this Church is not good and don't know why the management is not taking care of 100+ years old monument. Maintenance is the only issue otherwise I would have given 5 Stars

Superb church. You will love the architecture of it. Very simple and attractive design . It's one of the biggest churches of South East Asia. It can accommodate 5000 people at a time. It's in 2 floors. We can sit in the groud floor and also in first floor . We have four stair cases on four corners on the building to reach first floor. It's constructed with stone and their pattern and looks are superb. Inside dome and it's pattern is really awesome. Love to watch it. Inside the church you have an eagle carved out from wood , it's superb , we feel that the eagle is looking in to our eyes. God Jesus history paintings on mirror are superb . We find many people coming from different parts of the state to offer prayers. Out side Landscaping is good , cool you can rest there. Lot of monkeys are found around the church. Chappal stand is provided on sides, staff at stand receiving is good .Board at stand says it's free , but they demand some money at the time of delivery.

The Cathedral is one of beautiful piece of architecture and it is the 2nd largest church in Asia. I gave the rating keeping in mind of the place. Don't perceive it as overall experience rating. However, please feel free to visit this place if you have no issue with Covid-19 and brave & adventurous. Atleast 400 people were there at the church when I reached there on a weekend and almost 95% people were without masks. There were no Church authorities or security guards or policemen to manage the crowd or stopping people going inside the premises without masks. There were 2 disinfection tunnels installed but none of them were working and there is only one security guard who was stopping people to go inside with lunch/food. There is another policemen inside the church who was stopping people to stop taking photos. But there was no one who was managing the crowd or restricting visitors without mask and no social distancing was maintained.

Asia's Biggest Cathedral. Very peaceful and blessed place to visit with family and friends. Main Con is, there are no other highlights or places to see other than Church. Outside/homemade food not allowed into the church. Management should build some public attractions, museum, cloak room and toilets. How To Reach: From Hyderabad, You can go to Jubilee Bus Stand or Patancheru Bus Stand and take Medak Buses. Its 2 hour journey in Delux/Express Bus and 3 hours journey in ordinary bus. No Train.

Amazing place! The road via Narsapur towards Medak Church is a scenic one with nature's beauty at its best and monkey's welcoming passerby's on either side of the road. The Church is an ancient one built by the British. Beautiful stained glass depiction of Christ Crucifixion and Resurrection inside the Church.
