Amazing property around Nizwa. I am still amazed by the big trees around the pool area. Feels like a luxury resort in India with trees and mountains around. Pool is big and well maintained, water is treated continuously. Pricing is also good. Just a little far from main city. Recommend to have a car else you will be confined to the hotel itself.

If you have other options, do not recommend you to stay in this hotel. They have all kinds of ways to make you pay. A bottle of water can be sold for ten times the market price, and then various names let you pay. The faclity is not maintained at all, all kinds of broken.

We visited this hotel twice this year and both times we had a very pleasant experience. Even if the hotel looks a bit old at first glance, it really delivers, with top notch cleanliness, tasty food and authentic Omani decor

The best place to stay around NIZWA in the plains. Good number of clean and well maintained rooms . Very beautiful swimming pool area, nice restaurant and also have sports bar and gym. Big and specious conference rooms & lawns. Easily approachable from Nizwa Muscat road. Large parking area. Good place for Birthday parties, marriage ceremonies & private events. Go get & enjoy the facility & luxury of Golden Tulip NIZWA.

Stayed here in Dec 2021 and had two standard rooms for our family of 5. Extra bed provided with no drama. Pool is excellent but the food was only OK with mediocre breakfast and limited options for dinner. Staff were generally very good, though Hasan on checkin took forever and a day to check us in.

We went for a later breakfast around 10, we called to request them to keep the breakfast open on Friday and we were four families. Excellent breakfast and food and a lot of variety, for just 5 rials omani, which is 50 aed. Highly recommend.

The hotel needs more management and more organizational processes, as it has defects and services of an unacceptable level: 1- There are defects in the Internet, as there are two types of Internet, the first of which is free and works poorly, and the second is with fees, meaning that the fees are two riyals every 6 hours. Evidence for this is that there is no explanation that the Internet is not free. 2- There are no sites with umbrellas, as there is high sunlight, and it is required to provide umbrellas in such a hotel. 3- When booking at peak times or other times, the client is measured, as one of them will go to rooms and a gloomy building without psychological comfort, meaning that the campus of the building is not clean and the temperature is high inside that building. Also, that building is used as a store for Internet tools and network servers, meaning that the platforms and equipment are located on the premises of the building. It is not reasonable for me to be there at this level. In the other basic building, there are rooms on the first floor that are not as valuable as on the second floor, where there is damage to the toilets and the water heater is located in the bathroom itself, as well as the air conditioner and its control is bad. It is not worth a hotel more than 4 stars. Also in the bed mattress is not the same cleanliness and attention, as well as the lack of all services, hand washing soap, drinking water and proper lighting. 4- On the first floor overlooking the swimming pool and the garden of the hotel, there is a direct door to the swimming pool and it should be a low-quality door with wide gaps for insects, in addition to that there is no comfort in sleeping and stillness in the room, meaning that there are sounds emanating from the adjacent room, meaning that the water swirls and you can hear what is coming from your neighbor in the adjacent room. 5- The value of the rent is considered high for such a level, as the food in the breakfast buffet is not the same as the organization and provision of all dishes and bread. You should wait a lot when it is brought.

This Hotel, the Golden Tulip Nizwa Hotel, was where my co-workers and I stayed for 35 days while we were in Oman It was very amazing. With its classy amenities and lovely decor, the hotel provided a genuinely pleasurable and peaceful stsy. To make sure that our time off was as comfortable as possible, the attentive and kind personnel responded to all our needs. The building has a great courtyard with a well-kept pool and a convenient location. The palm trees, patches of grass, nice pool beds, and pool umbrellas make everthing look pretty nice. With lovely decor and fresh bed linens, the room was spacious and tidy, also, good and timely room service. My go-to hotel of choice is now The Golden Tulip Nizwa Hotel.

Amazing fine middle eastern cuisine. The suite and hotel are by far some of the most luxurious ones I've seen so far in Oman. This is a must stop destination.

Attended a Doctor's farewell feast last evening hosted by Dr. Kakkar and his family, the previous one being at Al Diyar. Lovely ambience. Well decorated with different types of seating areas in traditional settings. Rooms are easily accessible as they are all on the ground floor itself. Plenty of facilities for guests. Professional hospitality by a humble Filipino gentleman and his equally humble Indian serving team. Awesome food & decor - Well furnished dining table with Arabic Starters, Lentil Soup, Fish tandoori, Mughlai Chicken Biriyani with extra flavours compared to Hyderabadi Biriyani, Indian Roti, Paneer Butter Masala, and Desserts and Gahwa with Dates. Finally, a cheerful support by Ms. Lucy at the front office as she helped with the photoshoot.

I stayed in April with 2 kids and it was a wonderful stay. I had boiled the room including breakfast over the telephone. Since it was Ramadan, they provided Sahoor for the adults instead of breakfast. They have a very big clean swimming pool and a small garden play area aswell. Mind you though there was no life guard present. However there is ample sitting area with tables, and bathing space with towels provided. The break fast was also very good with a decent variety and live cooking. The deluxe room was spacious. It was ready with an extra bed before our arrival and all amenities were working like iron, iron board, hair dryer, kettle and fridge. The bathroom was clean and extra towels were present. The route to the hotel was easy but the street lights were not working on the road towards the hotel. There was ample parking space outside.

Excellent option in case you are staying in nizwa or stopping over en route to muscat or salalah. The room pricing is reasonable, rooms are clean, well maintaining and the highlight is the friendly and personal attention given to guest needs. They especially took care of specific veg food preferences requested by people I was traveling with. The breakfast and dinner buffets had a wide spread with veg and non veg options and at reasonable pricing. Overall don't expect a Ritz Carlton level of experience but safe option for a travel stop over with family like in my case both going to and coming back from Salalah

It was an overall a good and pleasant stay at this hotel, although not much facilities like spa, multi cuisine restaurants, bars/clubs. But whatever they have is best across Nizwa. Kudos to all the staff, front desk to BOH for offering excellent hospitality.

This hotel was nice, but not the best, advantages are that the hotel was luxurious and quiet, their breakfast buffet was also deliciouse, but its disadvantages are that the toilet didnt work!! It was very annoying, and when we ate our breakfast there were flies, in general this hotel was really nice but i just didnt like the fact that the toilet didnt work...

Nice experience And it will be better if you can expand the play ground area for kids and supply it with more games The Air conditioner at the kids area indoor needs to be stronger The back yard garden needs more care for grass to look healthier Otherwise it's ok and we had fun especially with the swimming pool and breakfast which was super Kind friendly staff thanks 🙏

The service was very good, and our stay was so relaxing. Kids enjoyed in large swimming pool which was well maintained and no restrictions on timing. Breakfast was too good including two Indian dishes with continental dishes. Appreciate Mr. Ajay Kalsi Front Office Manager for warm welcome and arrangement of smooth stay for us. Special thanks to Chef Suresh, Shagufta, Trixie and other staff for their hospitality during breakfast.

It's a pretty place and very clean. I liked how they put around the toilet a paper wrap that this is sterilized. They offer a very good customer service. I like that there is a garden in front of the room where you have a door to sit outside with a table and 2 chairs. Breakfast buffet is tasty, however ordering dinner to the room was less than average. The swimming pool is neat but I really wish for a place for women only for swimming. The reason why I give 4 stars not 5 is that we wished for some flexibility in checkout time. We asked for few hours of extension as we are a big family, but the front desk didn't help us. We have experience with many other hotels where they were very flexible with check out time and that is a big thumbs up.

If you are in Nizwa and looking for a bite to eat, I do not recommend the restaurant at Golden Tulip. Ordered the Arabic mixed grill and the none of the meat tasted fresh and wasn't seasoned well.

The hotel is a bit old and I feel too pricy. The rooms are big and clean and all ground floor with small terrace. Pool is big and swimming is on your own risk. Breakfast was super delicious buffet!!

Stayed in a pool view which allow us direct access to the pool and courtyard which really nice. Staffs are very kind and helpful. Special thanks to Nishan, Lucy, Hasan, housekeeping, f&b and engineering team that made our stay relaxing.

Rooms is good and Wide, but TV channels don't work. Also the lights in the hallways, the second floor is down, we received the room and it wasn't equipped. It was also a rainy day. The roof of the balcony is not water resistant. We didn't enjoy the rain in the balcony of the room. Also the lighting of the room is weak and there was a lamp without a lamp. Although this hotel is comfortable to stay

I stayed for the second time in this resort and found it great. Their services, food, ambience, and hospitality are remarkable. Team under the leadership of Mr. Ajay Kalsi always surprises us. This time the team surprised me with a surprise birthday party. Bands and pool side view always remain the centre of my heart. I really find it a perfect place for staycation, party, team outings etc. Thanks for hosting me with such a kind gesture.

The room was spacious and clean the bed was not that comfy. The lobby was very nice and the staff were very welcoming. The food was not up to the standard specially the dinner was outside and the food was in many times cold.

Even if the hotel looks a bit old at first glance, it really delivers, with top notch cleanliness, tasty food and authentic Omani decor. The rooms and balconies are spacious, super clean and very cozy. The staff are nice, helpful, polite and approachable. The breakfast buffet is satisfying, with a live cooking station and a decent varity of food. The regular menu offers many different choises, the ones we ordered were very tasty, freshly made and a great value for the price. They also serve alcoholic beverages. The pool area is big, clean and deep enough and a great place to chill. 5* for the overall experience, we will definetely stay again when visiting the Nizwa region.

Breakfast was OK,could be better and we ordered some pasta and shawarma for dinner, shawarma was good but pasta was not so good too creamy and sticky. Dinner bbq was awesome 👌 had a variety of dishes, salads all sorts of meat and also deserts. Rooms are clean and neat but quite old and the hairdryer was also broken.

Nice oasis in the middle of nowhere just 20 mins outside of the centre of Nizwa. Lovely common areas and rooms but the bathrooms need serious updating. Drains are slow and basic provisions. The food is good and room service is good. Able to bring food back from local restaurants. Only one large bottle of water provided complimentary, anything more is chargeable which is crazy. Overall, very friendly staff and nice amenities - playground for kids. Get a garden room as the pool rooms have balconies over the pool and it’s too crowded at night to use them. Garden side is quiet. Baby cots and beds are old and creak when you make any movements and rock hard mattresses. Overall I would recommend though.

Very nice hotel a little outside of Nizwa. Receptionist Hasan and his team are very helpful and immediately take care of the guests' questions. The food and rooms are very nice and we enjoyed our stay very much! Thank you very much!

Top notch hotel with a welcoming ambiance. Fantastic pool. Only downside is the distance to Nizwa, but that is quite normal for Oman. Very few things are at walking distance from anything else.

A four-star hotel under the responsibility of the secretary In creating his systems and laws....How can a hotel be of this level or deserve to be four stars? Does this hotel not have management if it has experience in hotel management?
