If I just talk about the hill top yes it's amazing and mesmerizing , a hanuman temple is at situated the hill top and the view is marvelous ,but the road trail is worst ,only experienced drivers can drive here (recommended), time taking and so much difficulty for the travellers going by car or bikes .the current entry fee is 80/- per vehicle and 2/- each which I think is too much for the experience you get.. otherwise all good . It's good for one time visit tour and if you want to see elephants then bad luck 😬 u can't just see on the roads but you can visit the deer area . Nothing much to see that's all, but yeah you will find the monkeys in heavy numbers so be careful πŸ˜‚.Not for picnic .

Dalma Wildlife Sanctuary is situated around the Dalma Hills. Dalma Wildlife Sanctuary is a much larger area starting from Chandil to 40 km east. The sanctuary covers around 195 km2. It is about 100 km from the capital city Ranchi, and 15 km from the steel city Jamshedpur. The wildlife sanctuary runs parallel to the NH-18 with hills as high as 915 m from sea level. Dalma Sanctuary is spread over 193 km2 of forests of East Singhbhum and Saraikela-kharsawan districts of the state of Jharkhand. The forests of Dalma come under the category "Dry peninsular Sal" and "Northern Dry Mixed Deciduous Forest". Most part of Dalma forests shed leaves in the summer and attains its full bloom at the onset of monsoon.

Nice place. It's an adventure just to reach there. It's around 22km from the highway. The roads are not your typical asphalt roads so be careful. Bikes are not allowed up. The side barricades are also available only in some places. Also it's a two way so drive slow. The road in a lot of places is just for one car. There is a vehicle fee of around 200 β‚Ήdepending on the type. Plus per adult passenger fee. There is a temple on top. Shivji. We went to see the sunset, worth it.

A fantastic experience to drive to the top of Dalma Hill through the forest..from Dalma Wildlife Sanctuary entry point the top is around 14km & the drive took 50mins..the roads are non-metalled,with hair-pin inclined bends & bad with loose gravels and small to big ditches..a tough drive for cars with low ground clearance. A Lord Shiva temple inside a cave is at the top..a new watchtower is under construction.. We visited in Jan 2024 by self driven car..

Dalma was a great experience ..the guest houses/cottages requires prior booking at least a month before.. our stay at the Dalma cottages were good..it was neat hygienic n food served was good enough to satisfy your appetite... We could even spotted deers who were freely roaming inside the property..it was a pleasant stay , a home away from home... At Dalma hill top we were welcomed by fog n u can visit 2 temples which are deep in the caves. Good adventures trip for kids .. the road traveling to Dalma hill top is little risky so one needs to be careful enough while driving the road towards Dalma hill top . So if u are looking for a day trip out you can definitely visit this place.

Only the journey to the hill top is nice. The journey through the jungle path is really nice. Otherwise there is nothing on the hill top. If you have good luck then you will have a clear view. Road conditions are mixed. There is a temple on the top. There are also some food stalls there.

If you love nature this is the route you should take. Journey itself is so beautiful and mesmerizing. Roads are good but adviced to go slow to avoid accidents. Safety is a issue. No population on the way. Restroom facilities not available so help yourself in nature's lapπŸ˜‚. On the top there is a temple so you should maintain the decorum if going with your friends. Would be nice if they had some eatery on the way like Maggie point on North. Dalma hills is habitat of many wild animals like elephants, deer, bear, peacock, squirrel etc. We saw elephants and heard many birds. Bird watchers will have great time exploring. On the top , visibility was very low so can't share the view but it must be as mesmerizing as the road. Advised to go early morning to avoid crowd and cars on the way. Difficult to drive for 2 way 4 wheelers. For 2 wheelers be prepared for muddy road in rainy season. Ticket counter at the entrance. Saw sign board for museum and deer park but couldn't explore. If you have time you can visit.

This is the Hill top of Dalma in the Jamsedpur area. We drove there by car. Due to foggy weather the views were not so good that day. As it was raining the roads to the hill top were not good. Hill top is not well managed and cleaned. Multiple temples are there in the top.

Its ok for one time experience, you can't see any wild life here only deer park at Entry but yes it feel like jangle safari, road is bad, it took test of your vehicle and your driving skill, approx 20 km one side Entry fee is nominal. Can't say anything about guesthouse and night stay.

Beautiful spot to ecplore for nature lovers. You can reach here by bike or car which'll take you about 1Hr. time to reach from the checkpost. Road is motorable, but you gotto be careful while riding. Not recommended during the monsoon season. Trekkers can reach the top for about 2Hrs.+ time. On the Hill Top there is one Shiva Temple, Hanuman Mandir and a Watch Tower. One can have a beautiful view of the entire Dalma range from the watch tower.

Very good place to visit... for Trekking, for worship also.. there is a Hanuman temple at Top, one Shiva temple and a Ganesha temple as well... you may not find animals there... very few elephant, deer and monkeys only... 17 kilometer away from National Higaway (From Main Gate), 15kms from entry point.... very reasonable rate.. Entry Fee:- β‚Ή1 for Children β‚Ή2 for Adult β‚Ή20 for Bike β‚Ή80 for Car β‚Ή200 for big vehicle now there is no camera charges..... Recommended: Carry your own water bottles and food..... because there is 2-3 very small stalls... you may not find any thing hygienic to eat or drink...

It's really a good feeling while wandering in the hills of Dalma Wildlife Sanctuary. As the woods are the same, the trees standing in their places, the rocks and the earth… they are always different too, as lights and shadows and seasons and moods pass through them.

Very good place to watch. View is amazing from the top. You can see the beautiful Jamshedpur city. Road to the top is not well maintained as of now, It should be developed, then it will be best.

It's a good drive to test your skills. There are almost no wildlife in the wilderness. Of course you don't want to be face to face with wild Elephants I hope.. πŸ˜‰

The road trip to Dalma view top was a new experience for me with 4 wheeler specifically with 170mm ground clearance. But, the road condition is very poor and a lot of investment for infrastructure is required to maintain an attractive tourist destination. There are certain spots in the forest where you can park your vehicle for a side and take some pictures of the nature. The entry fee for private vehicle till Jan'24 is Rs.600 for car + Rs.10/head.

It is 28 km from Jamshedpur. Entry fee 2 Rs/per person and 80 Rs for vehicle .elevation is high ,wonderful jungle safari almost 18 km from down to top. Rich biodiversity with Flora and fauna .At top lord Hanuman is there.

Two wheelers not allowed. You have to take their safari cars to reach the hill top. Safari fair β‚Ή2800, maximum 10 people are allowed. Cars are allowed after paying the charge.

Beautiful place for getaway on a weekend. One can get there by car or bike. Roads not in good condition. Crowded during new year eve or Mahashivratri but you won't find crowd during other time of the year. Good for a half day trip or picnic.

Good place..carry your own food...not much option available..only tea n pakora..a small watch tower is there...a Shiv mandir is also there...at the entrance there are two pet elephants who go out for their daily ritual walk, if you want to meet them then have to wait till 2 p.m

Dalma hill top is the destination for adventure seekers. The view from hilltop is superb on any sunny day. You can reach near top by car. I will suggest, if possible, try bike with a companion. It will be a memorable experience. I gave one star less because of the road conditions.

Good place to go when the sky is clear. don't visit after 4 PM. Less shop available at top. Road to reach is broken. So careful driving needed.

Dalma is not less than darjiling. The cloud on top of the dalma will revive your feelings. It's awesome. Everyone should go once there .

Nature at its best. A Shiv temple is also there... so nice visiting sopt foe both nature lover and pilgrim love people. But due to this lots of unwanted human waste is also found. Huge amount of Plastic and glass bottle waste is a shame on us !!!

A nice place to chill out with friends and family. Though its too far from the highway, but the scenic beauty from the top hill is a treat to eyes. A must do-thing if you are visiting jamshedpur. The wind at the hanuman mandir is soo soothing that you won't want to leave the place
