Kanjhari Dam is a beautiful picnic spot and a major irrigation project of Keonjhar District. An adjoining park serves as a great picnic spot. It is approximately 20 kms from the district headquarters and 3.5 kilometres off the main road (National Highway - 20). The view from the dam is great and there are not much restrictions (like tourists face in other dams in India). The dam is surrounded by mountains and green forests. Sunset and sunrise is the best time to spend here.

one of the best picnic spot in the Keonjhar, usually crowded in the picnic season, if you are looking for a peaceful area in Cancer for couple only then you can can spend great time together friend and family as well. the view of the sunset and sunrise is awesome. can click different type of photos, per photoshoot. personally 30-40 from Keonjhar. if I wishing to visit ma tarini in Ghatagaon, add this place as a same path. recommended time for morning to evening.

It’s a reservoir of rain water management. 4km distance from NH-20. Distance from Keonjhar Gandhi Chhak to that Dam is 24km towards Panikoili road (NH-20). This place is accessible by cars, bikes. Only you can feel the nature here. This dam is surrounded by mountains, which make it gorgeous.

Beautiful to visit and a small few minute drive from the main highway through the jungle. Spend some good time along the dam.
