It's a very nice and peaceful place although the roads that lead you to the lake are bumpy and in poor condition. If the local authority wants to attract more tourists and make the place truly enjoyable, then it should focus on reforming and restructuring the roads nearby. The ignorance of the local authority is unfortunately very conspicuous.

It's a lovely place to visit with family and friends because it's lush and airy.The evening looks lovely, and you can bring your own food or hire a cook here to create dishes for you.The road from the high way to the dam is extremely dangerous for little cars with minimal ground clearance. There are poor people around and hungry children, it is imperative that no food is wasted so that it can be distributed to the less fortunate. I visited there with my friends and enjoyed a lot. the sunset from this place is still memorable.

It is a ideal place for picnic. Taking photos near Burundi lake is awesome. The surroundings are covered with forest and greenery. In one sentence -"Peacefull environment away from disturbing noises sorounded by beauty of nature."

one of the main thing you find here is ..peace ...just sit down with the feet drown in Lake water can give you immense pleasure ..... Mind soothing place .... Best for camping... And all.. Where you also find the nearby mountain suitable fo trekking purpose.... Also if you had a close eye on micro creature ..then photography would be better... Here

It's a very beautiful and scenic place. Water hills and clouds are make beautiful scenery. Spectacular views of Hills scenery. This lake beauty steal your time. Excellent place for refreshment/ Camping/ Picnic / Boating / Tracking / Mountaineer / Children park with friends and family. If you have a 2 wheeler ,take the road going alongside the hills and get bombarded with ultimate experience of how mother nature is . Peacock, Parrot and Duck Foods and snacks are available there , Boating so close due to covid. Ghatsila, national highway, fuldungri bus stand to 9 km. No entry fees for entry to the dam Boating is allowed in the lake with a nominal fees One of the shopkeeper told me that every year there is a fair called "Binda Mela". I missed it by about 10 days The tribal of the area do come in and sell various artefacts, goods and sing their fables too. So if you are planning to visit during the Indian winters, you should be here in January

A very beautiful place .The atmosphere is very calm .It is not convenient to come here during summer.If you come here during winter you will enjoy it enough. I would definitely suggest you visit here at least once💚🌱🍃💙

One of beautiful lake with wavey hill surrounded lake or dam of jharkhand and border of WB KAKRAJHOR. lots of street food and snacks shop available in touring season. Boating is available. But night satying is faar from here

The Lake view was awesome but the way to the burudi lake was too small & cozy.... Don't trust the Google maps, just ask local people to guide the proper route...

Dam area is nice. Approach road from highway is narrow. Road condition is not good if you took village road coming from Jamshedpur. Visit early morning to avoid rush.

It's a very nice place to visit during winter time. It's hardly 4-5 hrs from Kolkata by train to reach the place of ghatshila and then take an auto to visit the place from the station. Nice photogenic view . And the local food was also tasty in this place.

Burudih Lake is one of the prominent tourist spot of Jharkhand that attracts a number of tourists. This is an artificial lake created on the Burudih Dam. Beautiful lake by the side of Burudi Hill. Hill covered with Sal forest and the huge lake has a picturesque view. But journey from Ghatshila is a nightmare. Broken, undulated and dusty road is horrible. Local shops and eateries are very friendly and compensate to some extent. Administration of Jharkhand should more tourist and resident friendly.
