Good for one time visit. The only thing which reminds you to come again is the seats near the lake and the shades. Have around 3km to walk to see animals . Can be maintained in more good condition.

This is a small zoo , you can't expect much animals , many are not available, but still you can visit. Currently,it has birds , aquarium, tiger, lion, cheetah , zebra and just 2-3 more animals. It is small but a good family place to enjoy. It also has park and the cafeteria inside. Cafeteria has only some South Indian food and cold drinks. It is closed on Mondays and has crowd usually on weekends. Ticket fare is ₹20 for kids and ₹30 for adults.

Amazing place for everyone. It's a small zoo in the heart of the city. You can walk if the weather is good. Else it is recommended to take a battery operated vehicle from the gate. Have 1 hour if you want a quick tour in a vehicle else 3 hours if you intend to walk

Zoo can be easily located it's beside the main road.Parking is available. The lion, Royal Bengal tiger, and panther are the only animals at the zoo.It offers an electric car for senior persons who are unable to walk. The zoo requires extensive maintenance, and heavy vehicles and dust pollution are a result of construction activities. The most important thing lacking is a CCTV security camera, as well as a lost and found option. It's a huge tourist destination, and the toilets are in disrepair; they need to be cleaned every hour, and there's a major hygiene issue; one can't breathe and there's no light.

Wonderful experience. Must visit if you are in Jamshedpur. Battery golf cart can be hired for ₹ 50 per persons. Ticket price is 30 for adults and 20 for kids below 12. I visited the zoo and hired golf cart, and complete trip was completed with in an Hour. Its not very big zoo. But White Bengal Tiger, and talking birds were simply awesome. It has well maintained and has clean environment.

I went to the zoo after many years. And the renovation done by tata steel recently is just incredible. People can spot tigers, lions, bears, hippopotami, peacocks, leopards, and a lot more animals. The zoo is open till 5 pm. No one is allowed to park their two-wheeler in the zoo without a helmet. The entry fee for up to 12 years is 20rs and above that is 30rs and extra is charged for parking. Overall it is a must visit!!

📄 Description of the area: ———————— 🕰 - Timings: ´All days of the week except Monday ´From 9:00 A.M TO 5 P.M ´Duration - 2 to 3 hours ´Charges are 20 Rs for adults and for children that lie in the age range of 3 to 12 year the entry ticket is of 10 Rs. 🐅 - Features: In the zoo, a road is present which surrounds the lake in a circular manner. Also there are well constructed pathways which provide the visitors with the best view of the wildlife. For meeting the requirement of water in the zoo, there are 3 wells in the park. The butterfly garden in the zoo attracts a lot of visitor as a huge variety of butterflies can be seen at one place. 📜History: The Jubilee Park in Jamshedpur is also known as the Tata Steel Zoological Park. The foundation of the Jubilee Park was laid by Tata industry on 14th January in the year 1990. In 1991, Tata steel zoological society was established which came into operation for undertaking the responsibility of establishing a zoo in the Jubilee Park.  It was established by the industry on its golden jubilee. The main purpose of the society was to exhibit various varieties of animals and other wild life in the northern most part of the park. The most unique feature of this park is that the animals are kept in their nearest natural habitat which makes it an attraction for the people. The zoo was designed by the best manager and architect of the city-Mr. N.D. Bachkheti who was a retired general of the forest department. In the year 1994, on 3rd of March, the zoo was opened for the public. 🌳 Tata Steel Zoological Park: Animals in Tata Steel Zoological Park roam freely. Also a nature education centre is present at the zoo which works to make the interested visitors aware about the endemic flora and fauna and also provides information about various animals at the zoo. Other facilities which are present at zoo are boat ride in the Jubilee Lake and walk along the nature trails. ———————— 🌳 💐 🌳 Thanks For Watching 🙂! ================

Tata Steel Zoological Park is situated in a corner of Jubilee Park, Jamshedpur. This zoo is known for its Safari Park, which enables tourists to drive through the wooded area, where animals roam freely. Tourists can also visit the Nature Education Centre in the zoo, which gives information about the zoo animals.

This park is in good condition, having pretty good maintenance. The thing that attracted me most during my visit in early June, is the greenary of the zoo. So much trees are there. Its really cool & relaxing. One may try e-vehicles inside the zoo, especially who are with children or elderly persons. The vehicle charges 50/- per head, completes the whole zoo in a 45 min ride.

There are different species of animals like birds, tigers, reptiles, leopards, cougars, big cats and monkeys. The lake and garden is also a very good place for picnic. Not very vast area. The whole place can be covered with in 4-5 hrs. There is separate place for car parking ans local totos and autos are available.

The Tata Steel Zoological Park is located in Jamshedpur, India. It covers around 25 hectares and features naturalistic enclosures to provide a more authentic habitat for the animals. It's home to various species, including Bengal tigers, lions, leopards, deer, crocodiles, and a wide variety of bird species. The park also focuses on conservation efforts and offers educational programs to raise awareness about wildlife conservation and biodiversity. Additionally, it provides recreational facilities like boating and picnic areas for visitors to enjoy. The ticket charges INR 30, and you can pay through UPI also apart from cash. Timing is 9:00 am to 4:30 pm. You can also enjoy taking Safari, which is available in sharing as well as reserved for one person or one family of 4 people.

Located inside Jubilee Park one of the most attractive places of Jamshedpur, Tata Steel Zoological Park is the best gift from Tata to the society. As Jamshedpur is a leased area where we are only dependent on Tata to have some good places where we can visit with our family, relatives and friends. Tata is doing great by providing every possible facilities like park, picnic spot, open gym, forest trail, etc, to the society. This Zoological park is also a great place to have a wonderful experience of the different breeds of animals. Hyna, Zebra, Sambhar, Alligator, Bear, Lion, Tiger and many more animals are present here which can be seen with a nominal entry charge. Recently the entry of the park has been shifted from Marine Drive just near XLRI college with ample space of parking. And right now some portions of the park are under construction so you might not be able to enjoy everything so you can wait till dec 23. After the renovation is completed this will again restart. One of the must visit places with family and friends in Jamshedpur.

I have never seen a zoo with this level of cleanliness, hygienic cages and caves and animal so healthy before. Tata groups not only makes money but also they spent for animals. We really enjoyed the time we spent among animals and greenery. Bathroom was super clean. perfect five star.

A must visit destination with kids and friends within Jamshedpur City which offers you refreshing atmosphere along with various information regarding wild animals. We recently visited this place. We loved the e- ricksaw ride which gave us pleasure of safari. The zoo is nicely maintained by Tata steel Zoological society. The information board contains brief and concise information regarding various animals and this guide us about IUCN category of threatened, endangered species about various animals. This definitely creates awareness amongst citizen and kids. This also offers membership to bird Club and various job opportunity. A There are lots of places within zoo where a photographer can have interesting frames (separates charges for still and video cameras). Tickets, are available at entrance. On Monday, it is closed. I would like to request people visiting this place to keep it clean, follow guidelines, show good etiquette while observing wild animals.

I went to the Zoo with my family and it was a refreshing experience. My gratitude to the staff who maintains this Zoo and all the lovely animals so well. In future, I would love to see more animals like the Elephant, Giraffe, Panda and Kangaroo. Some exotic animals would be amazing too. But not necessary as it will create a lot of pain for the animals.

Take A auto from mango bus stand and pay 20₹ and reach there. A good place for realxing but due to any alternate road all vehicles passes from. Inside. So if you stay near the road you can get lots of noise. We get entry form the back route. You can easily enter the zoo by buying ticket. And enjoy eating there but be concerned about it's nature. Do not throw waste there.

This zoo is a nice one... You might not find many animals here but it is surely worth visiting. The cafeteria inside is too expensive so I would suggest carrying your own refreshments if you can. You also get the facility of open vehicles which charge a small amount of money. You can use them to travel inside the zoo. The zoo is most well kept around the 3rd of March which is the founder's day. The best timing to visit the zoo would be between 10:00 am to 4:00 pm. You need to buy tickets which is quite cheap.

It is a medium-sized zoo that is home to a variety of animals from all over the world. The zoo is well-maintained and the animals appear to be healthy and well-cared for. The zoo is divided into several different sections, including a carnivore section, a primate section, a reptile section, and a bird section. The carnivore section is home to animals such as tigers, lions, leopards, and bears. The primate section is home to monkeys, apes, and lemurs. The reptile section is home to snakes, lizards, and crocodiles. The bird section is home to a variety of birds, including parrots, peacocks, and macaws. In addition to the different animal sections, the zoo also has a children's play area, a picnic area, and a food court. The children's play area has a variety of equipment for children of all ages. The picnic area has a number of benches and tables where visitors can sit and enjoy a meal. The food court has a variety of food and drink options available. Overall, I would recommend the Tata Steel Zoological Park to anyone looking for a fun and educational experience. The zoo is well-maintained and the animals appear to be healthy and well-cared for. There are a variety of animals from all over the world to see, making it a great place to learn about different species.

The zoo is small but well maintained.you will definitely like visiting the zoo with your family. Due to less space there's no elephant, giraffe, gorilla and snake. ₹30 per adult ticket price. Timing is from 9 am to 5 pm. Safari vehicle costs ₹50 per head(share basis). If you have less time then go for the vehicle or else walk around to enjoy the animals and birds

Situated in the heart of popular Jubilee park, this zoo has everything aspect to make for a fun-filled weekend afternoon. Visit the place with your family, friends or significant other and you'll have something to look forward to. You'll see lions, zebra, tiger, crocodile, hippopotamus amongst many many other animals. Also to feed your hungry stomach after the long walk are two canteens inside the zoo.

Zoo is actually inside a park, you'll have to take a long walk to reach the zoo main gate, you can take the Pink Auto ( Women Empowerment) till that point. Inside the Zoo, newly started bicycle rental is great. Take it, you'll enjoy it and can cover the whole zoo in no time. You can see most animals(Lion 🦁, White Tiger 🐅, Leopard 🐆, Zebra 🦓) and the view will be good. Butterfly Park is a flop. It is written everywhere that heavy fines will imposed to whoever violates rules/feeds animals. They'll charge more for water bottles (₹30 instead of standard ₹20), extra ₹10 will be refunded on returning empty bottle. This is done to prevent bottles littering and to keep the Zoo clean. Bravo for the thought! Outside the zoo, be careful with Auto guys, they'll say high fare price for shorter rides. If you are fine with walking, getting to Zoo is easy, you can take a share auto and then stroll a bit.

Botanical gardens are important places in many reasons and also for systematic study and research on flora of the region. These are the places of great academic and economic importance. Botanical gardens are the institutions that maintain the living plant collections of different varieties of plants, including the ornamental and cultivated ones, wild, medicinal, of economic importance, of various geographical regions, of special interest etc. They are of value not only to the botanists, horticulturists and foresters but also to the millions of tourists. Actually a big botanical garden possesses plant species from several corners of the world. It also includes green houses, a library, a herbarium, research laboratories, and several miscellaneous resources including photographs, paintings, illustrations, reprints, note-books and specimens of several types, it is therefore, not merely a garden but a botanical institution. Luca Ghini was the first person to establish a botanical garden on scientific lines in 1543 at Pisa in Italy. At present there are over 600 important botanical gardens in the world. This botanical garden is one of the best botanical gardens in the state of Jharkhand. Many kinds of animals, birds and reptiles are been kept here. You can enjoy with your family in a family picnic or get together. You could try boating in the lake here and enjoy the scenic beauty of the garden. Butterfly garden should be tried out for sure. After-all it's just amazing.

V poor experience today all the pictures has been attached . The splash zone time was till 6 pm we entered at 4 pm , water slide ride was under maintenance it was close , in rain dance floor water fountain not started we couldn't able to enjoy rain dance and till 5:10 pm all the splash zone rides close , my issue is here even if there is one customer they should operate till 6 pm , me n my friend went there to spend quality time our mood got spoiled and we felt cheated . We spend approx 1000/- but no enjoyment . The management could cut down the price and should inform us at the ticket counter only so that we can decide ourselves weatther we want to enter or not.... Not at all good

Tata steel zoological park is situated at jamshedpur city. It's renovated and it's new entrance is from merin drive. As jamshedpur is a small city, as per it the zoo is okay. Entry fee is 30rs for adults. Parking is also available with minimal fee. To see inside the zoo will not take much time. But people use to spend time inside. Overall view good.

Zoos typically house a wide variety of animals, including: Mammals: This category includes animals like lions, tigers, elephants, giraffes, chimpanzees, pandas, and many more. Birds: Zoos often have various species of birds, from parrots and eagles to penguins and flamingos. Reptiles: You can find snakes, turtles, lizards, and crocodiles in many zoos. Amphibians: Frogs, toads, and salamanders are commonly displayed in amphibian exhibits. Fish: Some zoos have large aquariums with diverse aquatic life, including fish, sharks, and rays. A zoological park, also known as a zoo, is a facility where a wide variety of animals are kept for public display, education, conservation, and research purposes. Zoos provide an opportunity for people to learn about and connect with animals from around the world while also contributing to conservation efforts for endangered species. These parks often have carefully designed enclosures to mimic natural habitats and provide the animals with a comfortable and enriching environment. The safety and well-being of animals in zoological parks (zoos) depend on various factors, including the zoo's commitment to animal welfare, the quality of care provided, and adherence to relevant laws and regulations. Many reputable zoos prioritize the safety and welfare of their animals by: Providing appropriate enclosures: Zoos aim to create environments that mimic the animals' natural habitats as closely as possible, offering space, shelter, and enrichment. Offering proper nutrition and healthcare: Zoos have veterinarians and animal care specialists who ensure animals receive appropriate diets, medical care, and attention to their physical and psychological needs. Engaging in conservation efforts: Many zoos participate in breeding programs for endangered species and support conservation initiatives to protect animals in the wild. Educating the public: Zoos play a crucial role in educating visitors about the importance of wildlife conservation and the challenges facing animals in the wild. Complying with regulations: Zoos are subject to local, national, and international laws and regulations that govern the care and treatment of animals.

The Zoo has limited Animals, it seems it is under development but the present animals are in good shape Open space areas around the Canines makes the viewing experience great There are several birds which are again good to watch, colourful and vibrant The Hippopotamus not only gave a walk show but sprayed some water on some of the tourists as well, this is possible only if there are open areas for Animals Upcoming additions seem promising as well, the zoo is maintained very well

One of the best zoo in Jharkhand. You can watch almost all animals here. There is a lake around this zoo which gives very good viewing experience. You can see white tiger also. There is a Butterfly House also. Difference kinds of butterflies are there in that house. When you enter that house you can feel the beauty of nature. Children from many schools come here every year. Zoo is very neat and clean. You can watch all the animals while sitting on a specific van present there. You can see all types of birds. This is the best place for enjoying the nature. I really loved it.

Great place to be with family or friends. The only 2 thing to keep in mind though: One, the best time to visit if your prime motto is to see the animals is between 12pm to 3pm. Second, the hippopotamus won't always open its mouth for you to take a wonderful photo & post it on social media. They are socially shy you know unlike the Lions...😉

At the confluence of the rivers Kharkai and Suvarnarekha, the Safari Park enables visitors to take a drive through a wooded area where animals roam free. Supplementing the flora and fauna in the zoo is a Nature Education Centre. Boating on the tranquil waters of Jubilee Lake adds a thrilling experience to the visitors. The picnic spots and the nature trail in the zoo are provided. The total area of the zoo is beautiful but the Butterfly house is mine favourite one. The reason is that there you can see a lots of different species of butterflies and some time they come ner you. To experience this you must visit the zoo.

Jamshedpur is a small town and there are very few places to visit, Tata Steel Zoological park is one of those places where one can visit and spend some time if they like animals. Boating is allowed which is a brownie point for people who enjoy paddling.

This is one of the best place to visit in tatanagar. This zoo is located inside the zubili park which is maintained by Tata group. There are various types of animals and birds but there are many animals are unavailable like elephants and giraffe etc. Altogether this is good place to visit with your friends and family. You will spend great time here. There is also the facility of battery driven vehicle which you can rent for visiting inside the zoo.

Visited Tata Steel Zoo with my family. very well maintained. There are a number of animals you can see here. Can take the services of E Vehicle or can rent a bicycle to take a tour. Suggest to take one as the zoo is large. There are numerous food outlets. Good place for a picnic. Good for tourists

Good parking lot, Good entree point Good security arrangements Very good water fountain on the gate We paid 30 rupees for entry, and we saw multiple animals,, The zoo is excellent as per price 😀😀 Need to upgrade,,,

You can literally visit and watch all the main animals in like 30 mins if you want to watch love stories you can stay for more its on you. Ill advice not to take the rented vehicles for the zoo because its not worth it and expensive too.
