For me this place is overrated and type of place where you enjoy on the way more than you real destination if you have right company. If you want to visit this place go in winter then you can have real fun there as most of people go there in New year, mainly in Dec, Jan or Feb. I visited this place in late winter (March) and there wasn't much thing to see, you will find every stall and shops closed. Only few small dhabas will be opened that too only in main Netarhat village. It felt too hot to enjoy views. On the way there is many monkeys, you can give them some foods if you have. You can even enjoy sunrise and sunset in a single day if you try.

Sometimes, you just need a break. In a beautiful place. It's a beautiful location to watch the sunset in Netarhat. To reach the sunset point, you drive through a beautiful forest which is also outstanding. You will experience mesmerizing nature.

You will get to see a beautiful panoramic view settled in the plains of Netarhat. Here you can easily come from there with all the bikes and four legs. This place is famous for a story. Tells unique tales of love and separation. It is said that at this place the virgin Magnolia gave her life by jumping into the boundless depths of the valley along with her horse in favor of the local shepherd. The setting sun presents a new pause view from this site.

One of the best tourist attractions in Netarhat which is located at a distance of 9 km from the main market. The place is known for its panoramic landscape view during sunset. This place is known for the eternal love between a boy and a girl where the girl sacrificed her life along with her horse as suggests the board there. This place has few beautiful sculptures of the lovers and the horse. This is a place with serene beauty and silence. There is hardly any food stall, there may be one or two selling noodles and drinking water. This place is best enjoyed when one enjoys alone just by having a peaceful and amazed gaze into the lush of greens with the chirping of unknown birds in memories of the eternal love it reminds of. It is a place which is never to be missed when one is at Netarhat.

It's one of the biggest attractions of the Netarhat. You can enjoy the best sunset in Jharkhand here. There is a love story behind the name of this place "Magnolia". Evening looks very pleasing here. It gets a bit crowdy every evening. Some local shops for tea, pakora, eggs, etc. No specialized parking facility for four wheelers still you will be charged. No charge for two wheelers. Fairly clean place. Not to mention, it is must visit place in netarhat. Enjoy :)

Unfortunately we had not seen the sunset here cause weather was unexpectedly changed. But the views were still very good for PHOTOGRAPHY and Selfies. There are many spots for take photos and watching sunset. Small snacks stalls are also available here. You can buy packaged food, pakoda, Maggie. Some slides for kids is also available, area is ok at cleaning. An open parking area for all types of vehicle is available and also new is building nowadays. To reach here from main NETARHAT a narrow road is going to. Crowded in evening just before the sunset so plan your visit accordingly.

Amazing place to be. Has a mystic vibe too it. Jharkhand's own Dona Paula point. Unfortunately not marketed as other places in India. Netarhat is one beautiful hamlet.

One of the best place to witness mesmerising sunset in jharkhand..this place is few km away from Netarhat main market..the road is through pine forest and beautiful landscapes..on reaching found several platforms and watch tower to witness sunset..few food stalls and a forest nearby..the serenity of the place is heart touching..there is a tragic love story of Magnolia who jumped from here..in her memories statues of magnolia and her horse are built.

This place is very nice and calm. Might get too crowded if not reached in time. Sufficient parking space available. Small stalls are there for food and snacks. The sunset view might get blocked due to clouds. There is provision for toilet and water. there is arrangement to sit and watch the sunset. Should leave as soon as possible because just after the sunset all the vehicles leave at once and hence the road becomes busy and might cause jams.

Please see the weather forecast before going, when the sky is clear only then go. Lovely place to see for 1 day trip.

History says: this place is significance of eternal love and sacrifice (written on the board as well). Approach is fairly decent with ample amount of parking place though its all unpaved which means will be all muddy during rains so be ready to embrace some dirt then. Place has couple of eateries not organized though a maggi point+ a jhal muri lady+ a stall selling some pickles made by tribal around the place (decently priced @ 120/-). During my visit the place was not crowded as it was off season. There is a watch tower you can climb up on but not spectacular view though. Things to watch out for... there are goats around always in attack mode and ready to grab your food. Be careful when with kids. You will also find dogs roaming around. A good visit place when in Netarhat. Have fun and enjoy the view. Giving this place 4* as there is a huge scope to organize things out here and make this place a proper tourist attraction. I am sure the right set of people from JH government start paying attention to this.

Truly amazing. And while going on by the road, you find beautiful scenes on road and with the trees. The light is amazing in the time from 4:44pm .

The most visited spot in Netarhat , which I found to be pretty over hyped. This is a park like area, with view of the hills in front. there are some snacks counters there serving tea, chips & onion pakoras. During sunset time, this place really gets very crowded. But the road leading to this place is really beautiful.

Such a hyped place!! Nice & obvious so-called 'tourist spot' to watch sun set, but the huge crowd here spoils all d calmness..People are shouting, screaming for don't know what reason, also during this pandemic situation not a single person, amidst a gathering of 500 - 600 in a small place, was wearing mask, and if one found wearing is treated like an alien to the other tourists..staring at faces!! Anyways one can definitely spot the sun-set here..Good place for photography of the setting sun. The place has a history(ref. google) and maintained well. PS- the road towards this spot is mesmerising..has pine forests..get down and enjoy the fresh air 👌

The view point is good location to experience Sun set. A short history has been laided along with sculpture of that. The view point also has hills where you can move down from there and can explore the place. Differents birds can be observed from this place due to dense foresr. Very less local shpos available to experience Sun Set along with munching snacks and CHAI.

One of the places to visit at Netarhat. Well maintained sunset point with small food places around. Visit on a clear day with your family, check sunset time beforehand. Nice overall.
