Awesome fall...deep amidst forest...lots of water due to ongoing rain...one has to walk uphill for about half kilo meter...per person ticket and vehicle entry fee is also there. However the people employed there guide you properly. There is small stall for quick bites and tea. Apart from that stall there is nothing else for the hungry souls so carry your own food. Dont litter the forest!!The place has a changing room. This place is said to be india's only will sanctuary. Loved the place...though could not get into water due to heavy flow of water.

One of the larger falls of Jharkhand. Definitely worth a visit. The entry ticket is 10 and the parking is 20. The number of steps to the falls from the parking is approximately 150+ . But the steps are very easy to climb. There are several side tracks to get down the main path and reach the bottom of the falls. You can visit it on the way to netarhat. Before entering you have to enter your name in a registry. Lots of places or benches to sit and rest along the path. Even elderly people who can walk will be able to reach it without any problem.

Lodh waterfalls is one of the popular and beautiful waterfalls of Jharkhand state. It is situated around 50km west of Netarhat district. This waterfalls flows highly in the monsoon season, you can see in the videos. We have visited here once with our own private four wheeler. We stayed in netarhat and on next day we came here to see these waterfalls. Please visit once of you get a chance. 😊

This is the highest and perhaps the most beautiful waterfalls in Jharkhand. It is located inside the Mahuadanr wolf sanctuary, the only wildlife sanctuary in India dedicated solely to Indian wolves. Although it is quite safe to visit as wolves live high in the mountains, but still advisable to visit in groups between 7am and 4pm. There are some odd 600 steps from the parking lot to the main falls, but most of the steps are damaged and need major repair. The water current is pretty strong and full of boulders, so one needs to be careful while enjoying and taking pictures.

Truly the best waterfall of jharkhand, the atmosphere here is truly mesmerizing. It's a no plastic zone and it is maintained properly. Visiting early in the morning or on a cloudy day makes it more charming. Carring food is a good choice as there are not too many options for that available.

The place is really good and vibrant. The route to lodh fall itself is amazing. However, I must say that, it will much better if you come during monsoon season if you want to enjoy the full force of the waterfall. Keep in mind it the peak season, so, a lot of people will be there.

Highest fall in Jharkhand and an awesome drive with pleasant view all around. Must visit place. Easily accessible by car till main entrance then a walk of about 0.5 km to see the fall. Entry ticket for individual and vehicle is charged separately. Stairs are in development, once that is complete the walk would be more easier.

Lodh waterfall is the highest waterfall in the state of Jharkhand. Also, it is one of the most picturesque places I have ever seen. There are quite a number of steps ( approximately 159 nos.) which one has to climb to reach the location of the falls. The steps are adequate and properly built, so the aged persons and the children can easily climb upon. Although there is space of car parking, however, during peak season it would be preferable to park the car 🚗 a bit earlier and walk down the road. Lodh waterfall is 61 km (approx.) from the Hotel Prabhat Bihar (a JTDC unit). The road is quite good for driving the car. The entry fees for the four wheeler is Rs. 50/- and Rs. 10/- for each person. There are a lot of snacks centres and fast food centres on the roadside. So, one can easily pacify his / her appetite while feeling hungry after visiting the waterfall. Also, there is an arrangement of lavetory inside the campus.

469ft, the tallest waterfall in JHARKHAND around 220km from Ranchi, nearly takes 8 hours through a horrible valley as you enter Neterhat, the queen of Jharkhand. There is an entry ticket of 10rupees per person if you have a car or bus they will give tickets accordingly, the bus ticket price is 100rupees and if students then they will give exemption(free entry for students). The best time to visit November to January.

It's a beautiful fall but to appreciate it you need to walk 500-700m now it would be great if it was in a straight line but there are a lots of ups and downs. Stairs are made of concrete but are rundown.

It is the highest waterfall in Jharkhand. Lodh fall or Budha ghag fall originates from burha river, a tributary of river North Koel. The thundering sound of the fall is audible even 10km away. Interesting fact about lodh fall is that the depth of the fall is not known to anyone. Attempts have been made several times to measure it debs but no one succeeded. The fall is surrounded by blue hills and lush green forest which makes it look surreal.

The hike towards the falls is steep. Aged people might need trekking pole, or thick stick for support. Construction is going on to make it more helpful for tourists. Be careful while going back. The steep descend is riskier than uphill now.

Beautiful waterfall however the place has been furnished for convenience for the tourist yet the constructions have destroyed its actual view points which use to be totally different and nice. You can still visit it. Its a nice place for photography. 60 km from Netarhat . . You can visit almost anytime in the year

Lodha Falls, nestled in the scenic landscapes of Jharkhand, is nothing short of a natural wonder that beckons visitors with its enchanting beauty and tranquility. This cascading waterfall, situated in the Latehar district, is like a hidden treasure for those who cherish the wonders of the natural world and are drawn to adventure in pristine surroundings. The first thing that strikes you about Lodha Falls is its impressive height and the pristine environment that envelopes it. Originating from the Lodha River, a tributary of the Koel River, the waterfall descends from a considerable elevation, creating a mesmerizing spectacle. It gracefully tumbles in multiple tiers, forming a series of smaller cascades before merging into a large pool at its base. The lush greenery that surrounds the waterfall only adds to its allure. Dense forests act as a natural backdrop to this magnificent waterfall, offering a sanctuary for a diverse range of flora and fauna. For birdwatchers and wildlife enthusiasts, this pristine environment presents an opportunity to spot various avian species and indigenous animals. To reach Lodha Falls, one must embark on a picturesque journey through the forest, which adds an element of adventure to the experience. The path leading to the falls meanders through the lush landscape, offering opportunities for trekking and exploration. The journey is accentuated by the soothing sounds of chirping birds and rustling leaves, providing a sensory experience that's a feast for the soul. For those looking to escape the hustle and bustle of urban life, Lodha Falls is the perfect sanctuary. It's an ideal spot for a picnic, a day-long outing with family and friends, or even a solo retreat. The cool mist that emanates from the waterfall offers a respite from the heat, especially during the scorching summer months. In summary, Lodha Falls in Jharkhand is a pristine gift from nature, providing a serene escape to the heart of the wilderness. With its towering waterfalls, verdant surroundings, and abundant wildlife, it's a destination that guarantees an unforgettable experience for all who make the journey. Visitors have marveled at the atmosphere here, and the strict "no plastic" policy is commendable. To maximize your experience, consider visiting early in the morning or on cloudy days when the enchantment of the falls is heightened. Bringing your food along is a wise choice as there aren't many options for dining available in the vicinity. Lodha Falls is undoubtedly one of the standout attractions in the vicinity of Ranchi. Its majestic views are simply breathtaking. To reach the base of the falls, visitors will ascend a series of about 60-70 steps, which only adds to the adventure. From there, a gentle climb over a few rocks takes you to the waterfall itself, allowing you to bask in the awe-inspiring scenery and even take a refreshing bath beneath the falls. This is, indeed, the highest waterfall in Jharkhand, set against the backdrop of lush, green forested areas. It's also known as Budha Ghagh Waterfall, and the name only adds to its charm. For those planning a visit, please note there's an entry fee of 10/- per person and 50/- for cars. The route may be a bit off-road, but it's entirely navigable. Lodha Falls is a must-visit destination for anyone seeking a serene yet adventurous escape into nature.

This is Jharkhand’s highest waterfall and it’s quite spectacular but have to climb quite a lot to see this gorgeous waterfall, but climbing won’t be that hard as because the steps are quite broad and one can take rest while climbing and coming down, there are benches also provided in the midways. Go for it, a must visit place..

The fall will take your breath away. Literally because you have to trek for about 20 minutes before you reach the actual falls. It might get a bit difficult for the elderly. There are seats for people to sit on the way. You can take a bath in the water fall but it is very risky. Do not get into the water without thinking. Reaching right below the fall is bit more challenging. In rainy season, water might get more turbulent.

Nice palace to visit with family and friends. I'll suggest going with friends if you want to take a bath in a waterfall. You need to arrange your own cab/car as public transport is not available to visit there.

It’s a nice waterfall and one of the major spots to visit around Ranchi. The fall has quite a spectacular view. Visitors need to walk up a few steps around 60-70 to reach to the base of the waterfall. From there, you need to climb through few rocks to reach the waterfall to enjoy the scenic view. You can even take a bath under the waterfall. There’s an entry ticket of 10/- per person and 50/- for the car. The route is a bit off road but you can totally drive through it.

Just the perfect amount of hiking to get to the viewing deck and witness this majestic fall. Functional and sanitized restrooms would be a welcome and much needed addition.

Best description should be "copy of Bahubali waterfall". That was computerised and it is fully naturalised. Height is dangerously much. Trees are covering a lot of looks. Apart from fall you get cinematographic pics of hills and rice field that looks amazing. Fern, algae make the place awesome. You do not have to walk too much or too high to reach the climex. Here you can bath but be careful.

Lodh waterfall is highest water fall in Jharkhand. And 21st highest water fall in India. This fall is in mid of Palamau Tiger Reserve. It is in Latehar district of Jharkhand and also very closed to Netarhat (just 61 km) . It's well known tourist spot in Jharkhand. People come from across the state to visit the natural fall. Jharkhand Government should promote this natural fall as much as possible because tourism industry has ocean of opportunities for employment and growing state economy.
