A perfect example of Explicit Beauty. It's impossible to describe its beauty and vibe in words. It is an experience to be felt, to be experienced. The literal meaning of "Naulakha" is "Nine Lakhs". This beautiful temple was built with the investement of Nine Lakhs hence, attaining this name Naulakha. It was built by a Bengali Lady in the loving memory of her Son. It has fine architecture made up of red sandstone. It has got a calm vibe, perfect of meditation and enjoying solitude. Best time to visit is morning as there won't be rush to break the beautiful calm trance which it provides. The inside of the temple is surprisingly cool. It has got a beautiful garden around it. It is a hidden gem which makes it best and people has not ruined its vibes. After so many decades also its beauty never ceases to amaze the human mind.

Naulakha Mandir is truly something special! The detailed carvings and vibrant colors of the temple are absolutely stunning, offering a rich and cultural experience. It's not just a sightseeing spot; the temple's historical and spiritual significance make it a must-visit for anyone interested in India's unique architecture and religious heritage.

The building is actually very exotic. The building stones used are good to see. It is called Nalakha because during those times it cost 9 lakhs rupees to build and hence the name. I liked the building structure and design. But to be frank, administration has not been able to maintain it properly. The connecting road to the temple is dilapidated! Completely broken and in worst condition. The building itself needs lot of renovation work. Algal growth can be seen on the stones. These buildings are our heritage. We all should try our best to preserve these. Why can't we charge 10 Rs per person whoever is visiting it? By doing this, sufficient funds can be gathered for its maintenance. Lastly, I was saddened to see our heritage getting decayed like this.

This temple was created with 9lakhs rupees hence the name Naulakha temple. The temple is a good tourist destination for the people visiting Deoghar. I am reducing the ratings as here also the pandas purohits and even the shoe guys demand money while visiting. There should not be force for the same. Overall good but the people are not so good. Feeling kind of bad.

This is a very nice place to visit. Located in Deoghar (Jharkhand). This temple is made from red stone including great art work on the walls and pillars. It was built by a rich lady from kolkata, In the memory of his son who was dead at the early age of only eight years old. At that time, It costs almost 9 lacks in the making. Thus it's got the name as "Naulakha Temple".

Situated around 3 kilometers from the renowned Baidyanath Jyotirling, this temple is a true gem. Its accessibility is convenient, with no entry fees. Inside, you'll find quaint shops. Before stepping in, the ritual of removing slippers is followed. The architecture is a marvel, although there's no ramp, only stairs. The temple's charm can be experienced at any time of the day, as it's under cover.

I went deoghr to visit Baidyanath jyotirlinga so I visited this temple also. This temple was constructed in 9 lakh rupees in 1932 so it is called naulakha. It is a very peaceful place that looks very beautiful. I think it could be the best location for photography like pre-wedding shouts etc. There are many mango trees around the temple. The temple is dedicated to Lord Krishna. I had golgappas and churmure available outside the the temple, it was yumm.

Srimati Charushila Dasi from Kolkata built this temple in 1942 in memory of her gurudev Balananda Brahmachari. Nine lakh rupees was the cost to build the temple at that time so the temple called Nau lakha temple. Very popular tourist spot in Deoghar. Local utensils shop, memento shop are there outside the temple.

Naulakha Temple is approx 2 Km from Baba Baidyanath Dham Temple remains closed from 12PM to 2 PM so plan a visit accordingly. A must visit place . What you can do at this place is feel the simplicity yet attractiveness of Architect. Just visit this place and enjoy the peaceful atmosphere. I visited around 3:30 in noon and I just love the peaceful atmosphere at this place. The feel and the peace is indeed unique. Best place for solo traveller or visitors. Temple is clean however surrounding can be well maintained and most important is road or say street which connect main road to Naulakha Temple is in worst condition. This is a famous place so local council should consider the road conditions in priority and need to make a quality road which connects the temple. I had taken a Sugarcane (Ganna) juice outside the temple, it was so tasty. If you love it, you should try it for sure.

The Naulakha temple was built by Rani Charushila, who belonged to the Ghosh family, a Bengali royal family of Pathuriaghata in Kolkata. Charushila lost her husband, Akshay Ghosh and son, Jatindra Ghosh prematurely. This devastated her, causing her to leave her home in search of peace.[5] Later, while in Deoghar, Charushila came across the saint Balananda Brahmachari, at whose ashram she stayed awhile. Upon his advice, she decided to build the Naulakha temple, sanctioning an amount of nine lakh rupees for its construction—thereby earning it the name, Naulakha. The temple was completed in 1940.

Very nice place to visit with family or friends. You don't have to buy ticket to enter at Naulakha Temple. Naulakha Temple Direction It is situated 1.5 k.m. away from Baba Baidyanath Temple. It is a nice visiting spot. This temple looks like the temple of Ramakrishna in Belur. Inside it there are idols of Radha – Krishna. Its height is 146 feet. The amount spent in construction of the temple was about Rupees Nine lakhs (9 lakhs). Hence it became known as Naulakha Temple. This amount was donated entirely by Rani Charushila who belonged to Pathuria Ghat King’s family, Kolkata. At the early age she lost her husband Akshay Ghosh and son Jatindra Ghosh. Grieved by the deaths, she left her home and met the saint Balananda Brahmachari who asked her to construct this temple.

One of the most peaceful but underrated place in Deoghar. Go around 4pm while the sun is out, leave your phone in your only pocket and go sit in the grand hall of the temple. You will love the cool Breeze there!

The temple is a marvel in its own. But such a sad state of affairs that it's premise is not maintained as the way it should be done. The interior is beautiful and clean. Photography is not allowed inside. The outside garden is in a mess. Could have been maintained in a much better way, as this is one of the most visited places in and around Deoghar with a rich essence of history.
