My experience with Harby jewelers was excellent! Brad was very helpful and transparent throughout the entire process. He listened to me and what I wanted and worked with me to find the best option. Even when we were reviewing different stones together he would recommend stones as a better "value" than others, based on the type of inclusions, and the cost. Brad is very knowledgeable about diamonds, and the diamond business. You definitely get the feel when dealing with him that this is a family business and they care about helping you find the best option for whatever you're looking for, and not that they are some big corporate chain trying to make some money with sales tricks and gimmicks. Brad never makes you feel like he's a salesman. He makes you feel like he's an expert in diamonds who's advocating for you. Highly recommend Harby jewelers!

Huge thanks to Harby Jewelers and the patience of Hugh Harby. When I contacted Hugh, I had been been let down by multiple designers who either could not give me what I wanted or wanted to charge for each CAD change. Hugh never once complained about the questions I would ask or the changes I suggested as he understood the design was for me and my lady. He was quick to communicate and if he made a statement or promise he stood by it. By the time I found this store my deadline was tight and they were still able to deliver a rapid turn around on designing the ring, having it made, setting my Diamond and shipping the ring to me. My experience with Harby Jewelers was out of this world and I will recommend them to anyone I speak to. I drove from Savannah (~2.5 hours) to work with Hugh and could not be happier. My now fiancée loves her ring and could not be happier with the outcome of the design! If you are looking for a true class act that will be patient, willing to work with you and willing to provide additional information or education, Harby Jewelers is the place for you!

Admittedly, I have not been a customer of many jewelers, but I can say with total confidence that Harby Jewelers provides a world-class consultative and buying experience. When I mentioned to my family that I was in the market for a ring, my uncle recommended Hugh, citing his fair prices and great selection (he has purchased jewelry from Hugh for more than 30 years). So, I set up an intro appointment to get some more information. Hugh greeted me at the door and spent two hours with me, going into great detail about diamond shapes, sizes, colors, and clarity; answering all of my questions; all while assuring me that we would find something within my price range that would be special. I never felt pressured to overspend or go outside of my comfort zone. Hugh catered to my every concern, and I could tell he really took joy in the experience. This was a man who loved his work — and it made me so excited to make this purchase with Harby Jewelers. Months later, when I was ready, I went to pick out a diamond. Hugh rearranged his entire schedule to meet with me early on a Saturday, so that I wouldn't raise any suspicions with my now-fiance. He had brought in a wide selection of diamonds and we picked the best one. While every diamond he showed me was gorgeous, his trusted expertise helped me make the best choice for my money. Once I had the ring picked out, Hugh also accommodated my every request — like overnighting the ring to me in Austin, and working with me to get it resized to perfection once I had popped the question. Every business has a best and Harby is the pinnacle of jewelers in Jacksonville. This December, my girlfriend and I were searching for a very special engagement ring; in our case, a high quality emerald cut diamond in a stunning platinum setting with baguettes on the sides. The best local jeweler in Jax!! HJ has a beautiful selection for any occasion. If you can’t find what you’re looking for they do an amazing job with custom pieces. I have had multiple heirlooms created over the last couple of years. Brad was able to take some of my mothers old jewelry and make something completely new, modern that fits with my style. He also helped me add my wedding rings.

Harby jewelers is by far the best jewelry store around. I went in my very first time for my wife’s engagement ring and had zero clue about diamonds or rings. I left there knowing everything I needed to purchase a ring from them. Brad made it completely PAINLESS and easy to pick out an engagement ring. When I went back to pick out a wedding band it was within minutes I had picked out another and walked out happy once again.
