Societal collapse must be imminent as a $36 take out order did not satisfy my normal dinner appetite. My $17 shrimp fried rice weighed slightly over 1 lb on the food scale (counting container and shrimp tails mind you) and just under when you removed the thick cucumber slices. One pound may sound like a lot of food, but it is not for a rice dish. I understand the up-charge for shrimp, of course, but any fried rice meal should have the container packed full regardless of protein choice. The rice and small vegetables cost practically nothing. The A1A rolls were tasty but definitely not worth the $14. I respectfully called and asked for the manager, but they only offered a credit on a future order or for me to come back to the restaurant for more food. I was not looking for a free meal by complaining. I would have accepted a 50% refund on the fried rice as that was the true value of what I received. Honestly it is just shocking that you can’t be full for $36. I will likely not return.

Came here because we were craving sushi. Great atmosphere, big open space, tables are wide apart accommodating handicap/wheel chairs...Along with tables there are booths and a sushi bar. started with the Peruvian & Thai Ceviche, delicious flavors, love the mixed fish - salmon, snapper and white tuna and the citrus sauce really went well together For entree we had spicy tuna roll, roe, Squid, white tuna, snapper, tuna, spicy scallop and white fish. All the different pieces were fresh and perfect flavor except for the spicy scallop, it was fishy so we didn't eat the second piece. For the bad scallop and they were out of several pieces of fish I wanted they get 4 stars instead of 5. But nothing to cry about, just not perfect. :) The service was great. We were greeted immediately and seated. The table service was Spot on, attentive to our waters staying full and our orders were timely. Would I go here again? YES! Absolutely!

This is the place to eat great Thai food in North East Florida by far. Not that I have had every thing on the menu yet but what I have had is the best I have ever had and believe me I have been all over. The staff are well trained and courteous. Just an overall great Thai experience.

One of my favorite restaurants!!! The Pad Thai is amazing! We always make sure to eat here whenever we are in the area. The food has been consistent since my first visit 2 summers ago. A++++, definitely recommend this spot!

Got take out, the pineapple fried rice was SO good, they ran out if scallops and shrimp was a good sub, the gyoza good sauce a bit sweet, the crab Rangoon good, the sexiest girl roll excellent, and a roll with cucumber instead of rice was good called the Naruto Fantacy, miso soup perfect amount of seaweed and tofu. Excellent meal! Also, if you dine in they are very friendly and the place is cute!

I love this place, I was visiting for Mother’s Day weekend & was so glad we found this restaurant, the owner was so welcoming & nice, he told us his story & how he started his restaurant, the food was freshly made, full of those wonderful Thai flavors. Please go to this place cause you won’t regret if you are familiar with real Thai food.

From the service to the food, first class all the way. The owner, Arun made this a very enjoyable dinner for my wife and I! compliments to the entire staff. Very reasonable priced with a very large menu and excellent food. Be sure to stop in if you are in Saint Augustine and looking for a excellent place to have Thai and sushi. 5+

The place seemed busier when we stopped by there last time so for this time we made a reservation. The host was very helpful for making the reservation. It wasn’t that busy when we got there so that was nice. The menu was in a iPad so that was very cool. We were able to swipe through and see what we would like to order and the pictures were also available. There were several food we ordered from the menu. For appetizer we had chicken satay and Thai dumplings, wished both were cooked for a little while. For our mains we had curries, grouper fish, pad sew noodles and Anniversary roll. We felt that all the food were under cooked when it came to the vegetables on it. The broccoli was raw, bel pepper were raw as-well. We wished it would be better if the vegetables were at least slightly cooked. Lastly we asked if there was anything special for Birthday and they brought us such a big dessert of fried bananas with ice-cream which was delicious and they also sang the birthday song. The service was great. Everyone were very friendly and welcoming. Overall the experience was great in terms of service and hoping that the food will also meet our expectations on the future times.

Took a little bit to get the food but everything was amazing, sushi was so fresh and tasted so good. Amazing use of ingredients and presentation. Was very impressed with the sushi and will come back the next time we are in the area…

My green curry was weird. Strangely chunky and separated sauce. Didn’t taste at all like a normal green curry. My daughters fried rice was so good!! The Tom ka gai was unlike any I’ve ever had. Very red, not like it’s supposed to be. Pad Kee Mao was so delicious. Very nice atmosphere, hit or miss dining.

You have to drive to the island but the food is so awesome! Sushi and Thai in one restaurant and both were very fresh. : ) They also have a good selection of sake and thai drinks.

We had a very good lunch with great service. Will go back again.

My family got simple Thai fried rice (basil, pad Thai, chicken) and it was really good! The service was great and the place is very clean.

Wow! This is our whole family's new favorite for both Thai AND sushi! I don't know how they could be the best of both, but they did it! We go as often as we can and always LOVE the food, fantastic service, and clean, nice, calm atmosphere that is great for intimate or family conversation. Everything we've tried has been delicious. I'm told I'm not easy to please, but Baitong checks my every box so I felt I should spread the news for others like me who like reviews. I just can't say ENOUGH about how much they exceed my expectations. And I rarely order dessert, but I have to there since it is so great. The tempura bananas, ice cream, and cheesecake are ALL amazing!

Amazing Thai and Sushi reataurant serving fresh table top sushi made right in front of you. The thai food was also very amazing and flavourful with just the right amount of spices. The miso soup was heartwarming. Veg pad thai was so tasty that it did not feel any lack of meat. Would definitely recommend this to everyone who visits St.Augustine

Don’t let the shopping plaza vibe fool you. This place is absolutely amazing! Fantastic Thai food and fantastic sushi. I was blown away by the quality of the food. The presentation of the sushi is some of the best I’ve ever seen. My wife and I get Thai food everywhere we travel, this is seriously the best Thai food we’ve had in 20 years.

We came as a loud group of 9! Great food and service. Everything we ordered was quite delicious.

Good place for a date or even s quick bite. Super friendly and helpful staff. I am not a fan of the tablet menus but it looks alot of Asian restaurants in the area have them. The sushi is good the crispy rice were smaller bite size pieces which we liked. The duck pad thai was good too. Would come back.

My husband and I came for dinner. He had the crispy grouper and I had crispy shrimp. It was some of the best food. You could tell everything was made fresh. The restaurant was very clean. Wish we lived closer.

We’ve eaten here several times now, and have enjoyed the great food and friendly service. Tonight was no exception. Excellent Pad Thai (big serving size) and crab rangoons. Veronica provided great service with a smile. Clean and comfortable atmosphere. Well done!

The food was amazing. I had the red curry with vegetables and substituted with noodles. 🍜 It was so tasty I even had left overs. The vegetables were very fresh and the eggplant was cook perfectly.

The food here was on point 👉 My meal was delicious and fresh. I wanted to sit there all day and just eat all their appetizers. Plenty of vegan options for my guest. Quick service and great atmosphere. Will come again!

A perfect place for a delicious meal! The personnel are very knowledgeable of the menu and are very polite. The restrooms, the sitting area - everything is neat and clean. The food is brought out fast, fresh, and wonderfully prepared. We were five and each of us enjoyed every meal we ordered. Thank you!

Food was fantastic. Great price and great serving portions. I got the Lady Finger sushi platter, which is a rainbow roll wish sushi pieces. I also ordered the cucumber salad, which has chili dressing on it. Don't worry, it's not spicy :) so it pairs great with the sushi as a palette cleanser. My boyfriend got the Special Fried Rice from the lunch special menu and I stole a few bites, it was excellent! There was also 50% off sangria on Sunday and it eas sooo smooth and fruity and--just amazing. Honestly the best I've ever had. Will definitely be here again!

Found Baitong Thai & Sushi as it was the closest restaurant to our resort. Became our goto restaurant for our St. Augustine trip. Every plate 🍽 was tasty & unique with a great presentation. Very reasonably priced specially for sushi 🍣 restaurant. A local diner ordered without looking at the menu. So, of course, we tried the plates the local ordered & we loved all. One dish was tofu, not my top 10, it was great
