The entire Vila Nova de Gaia waterfront has a very spacious pedestrian area. The main Port wine cellars are located in this location. These cellars can be visited and where you can taste good Port Wine. In this place you can find many restaurants. Very busy both day and night.

This is the spot in my view you can have the best photoshoot of Porto. We didn't get the best photos in the evening because it was cloudy, we got better photos in the sunny morning. Be prepared for raining days in Porto.

A very nice place for a pleasant walk along the banks of the Douro River, with amazing views and plenty of pleasant seating and tasting of traditional food and drinks, including port wine. You should definitely visit it. I highly recommend it.
