Park is very big and good but condition of Lake is not very well. Algae is on all over the surface of water, smell is also very unpleasant and sometimes it becomes intolerable. Boating is available in the lake. Boatman charge 120-150 for 4 people.

Loved this place since long, we used to play Cricket here every Sunday morning before pandemic. It's closed now for sometime due to pandemic. It's got a good artificial lake as well, surrounded by trees. This place is also flaunted by morning walkers, joggers and people also come here to have a good time with nature.

Last time I visited, half of the lake had dried out (January 2023). However, in the remaining section beautiful ducks are there. The beauty of the place is amazing. Just behind the place, a train line is present where trains pass within short intervals. There is a thick strength of green and luscious trees, beyond which there is an open gym.

This lake has two faces. Half of the side is very bad, dusty and deserted. People sit there and play tash plus very bad atmosphere. Never go from Trilok puri metro side. Other side is well maintained. Park made. Proper parking, so many ducks. Plus boating and. Adventure island also maintained . This place should be maintained all round. Over all good place to have a nice time. Gives a feel like Hauzkhas lake.

This is the park which have a lot of space to run , to walk , to play everything, loved this place. You will be surprised to see such a beautiful park and lake in most crowded . It is situated approx 1.6 km from Nirman vihar metro station. Eastern delhi is supposed to be most densely populated area and If you are looking for Peace and long walk through dense jungle this is best place in eastern Delhi. You can even enjoy boating with your family and friends. If you are interested in playing sports you can find plenty play ground with beautiful green grass. This park is safe in morning but in evening this is not too much safe because of some bad people who drink in the park and snatch mobile phone , money, etc but this is good during whole day and there are lot of space to perform activities . The plus point is that this park have space to play with scateboard or to learn scateboard . The lake of this park is just awesome and having lot's of ducks which increase the beauty of the park .

An expansive park but all the parts are not maintained all the time. Pruning of shrubs has been initiated recently and now the lake is full in rainy season. There is a long walking trail / jogging track and enough place for kids and adults to play sports. There is a small jungle gym and there are multiple exits to the place. The park is accessible from both the sides that is Mayur Vihar phase 2 and trilokpuri. Sometimes you can find ducks playing around

Great place to go for everyone, but crowd isn't that good there. You can do boating there, running, open gym, slides for kids, an small amusement park is also there, people do fishing too. It's a nice place

Best Place for sunrise and sunset in east delhi

When we go there we feel a sense of peace. Sitting here at the corner of the lake and feeling the silence is really a great experience. Swings are available for children. They enjoy here a lot. Local thali wala are available but shortage of water that's why you should carry water with yourself. Parking are available and entry is free. You can go for a picnic here. But it's development is still pending and work is going on. Locals also say that in the evening the whole place looks so beautiful and ducks here make sound and you can feed them also.

Very relaxing Place for jogging, walking and excercise. Many people comes daily here. No entry fee. It's free so don't pay anything to anyone in the gate if somebody ask you. You can feel the nature's beauty here. There is a lake in the center of the park which makes the whole park very beautiful. There is one Open Gym which is good but it is crowded all the time. Boating facilities is also provide but for few months (only 6 months). Overall very maintained Park. And as a citizen we should also help them by not polluting it. GO GREEN , GO CLEAN !

Sanjay lake is one of the ideal place in East Delhi, where you can go and spend some quality time with nature. Authorities have done a lot of development work to maintain this park and lake though lots of attention is required. Lake view, boating and ducks home and their discipline movements and plants are major attractions of this place. They have kept some areas like a Virginie forest . Due to green and forest area this has become a destitute of birds. At least three to four hours are required to explore this place. This place is suffering because of its location. It could have been more beautiful and better .

Loved this place.You will be surprised to see such a beautiful park and lake in most crowded city. It is situated approx 1.5 km from laxminagar or Nirman vihar metro station.Even you reach by bus by just paying Rs10/- Eastern delhi is supposed to be most densely populated area and If you are looking for Peace and long walk through dense jungle this is best place in eastern Delhi. You can even enjoy boating with your family and friends . If you are interested in playing sports you can find plenty play ground with beautiful green grass.

It's a very nice place maintained by PWD. It's located near Mayur Vihar. There is not just a lake but a park too named as Shashi Garden. Mayur Vihar Metro Station is very convenient to come here. The lake has lots of fishes and seaplants over it. Many people feeds fishes here. There's no entry charge taken here. Everyone can enter the gate and see the beauty. There are lots of trees as well on each side of the lake. You have benches etc to sit and relax. As this lake also consist of a park , children also plays here. Fishing is not allowed here but yes you could feed them. You will also find certain more creatures sitting here and there. It's a very beautiful place.

Nice place to spend your sunday evening. The place is very huge spreaded over east vinod nagar to mother dairy ,pandav nagar. There are different types of trees and there was also a nursery which had literally so many flowers and plants. You can go and buy plants from there as well. The lake was dirty and it was green in color but park was worth going. You can take your kids here they would get too happy. There are also many swings available for kids . Theres a lot to do in the park.
