It is such a glory to discover this place! All started with a coincidence, one day my hubby feel like eating garlic and pepper prawn 🦐. I searched and found that the dish is one of the best of Hong Seng, whom has a long great reputation and has been open over 60 years! We ordered 3 dishes; Fried Prawn with garlic and pepper, Fish ball pad khee mao and Kaeng som (and repeat on the garlic and pepper prawn 😋) All of them are super tasty! The taste is just right! Nothing less nothing more 🩷🩷 Hong Seng instantly become a member of my favourite list! Price is not a bargain but not expensive as well. I love to pay 400 THB for the prawn and will happily come back 🤤 I also love the kind service and the fact that everything is clean ☺️ The only issue could have been the competitiveness of the parking lot since it closes to a big market. But we found one so easily🤞

This is one of my favorit restaurant in sourrounding Bangkok. The venue very simple but clean with natural wind from the river. The restaurant serves many authentic Thai dishes such as tod-mun-pla or fish cake, fried prawn with garlic and peper, etc. Serving at this premise is fast. By the way, this is an old food vendor for around 40 years. It is easy to find, just go to the foot of Rama IV bridge and you will easily find the restaurant. Recommed for its good food with reasonable price.

Recommended by Michelin, this old restaurant offers lot of authentic Thai food! Grilled river prawns cook to the perfection. All the dishes is so yummy and tasty. No reservations so might need to be there a bit early!

Big size, fresh, good taste & high price for king river prawn which the price starts from 900 baht each. 60 year old restaurant at Pak-kret , and this is the wooden house at the river front. 2022 and 2023 Michelin Bib awarded. Booking is required & check the river prawn in advance if you come with large group. Order one time for all the menu is my suggestion, as the 2nd round order is very slow. Note. Pay by Cash only. No credit card or wire transfer accepted !!!

The restaurant has been around for 60 years passing down from one generation to another. I’ve been eating here with my parents since when I was a kid and the taste hasn’t changed! Great seafood/Chinese cuisine. Clean place overlooking the river. Friendly service, difficult to find parking, better to take a taxi there. Recommend to order deep fried carp, no bones.

remaining classic old thai wooden house on the river best cinematic authentic view and atmosphere . even drop in taste or not better than orthers classic thai but still a best meal . foreigner should take time around the pier and local market , many delicious old fashion dessert in the market walkway , easy entrance pay toll public parking
