Wat Bot Bon is an old temple built since the late Ayutthaya period. which still preserves the ancient sites in perfect condition Preserve the beautiful and precious wisdom and art of Thai ancestors. The history and creator of Wat Bot Bon Bang Khu Wiang is not clear, but there is a story that appears in the Book of Temples Across the Kingdom, Volume 2 (printed in 1983) that the king in the Ayutthaya period His Majesty used to stay in the area where this temple is located. Later, he gave land to build a temple. His Majesty graciously ordered the construction of a Thawornwatthu which is an Ayutthaya style of art. The uniqueness is that the Ubosot is in the shape of a sailing ship. which refers to travel and trade in the past Built around 1757 in the Ayutthaya period, it received the Royal Wisungkhamsima around 1767. The area surrounding the temple is a garden and canal alley.

(Translated by Google) Entering the temple, the first thing I like is Inside the church is very clean, lots of parking, inside the temple looks peaceful. very organized and the preservation of the old Ayutthaya Sema by covering it with plastic and not painting over it which makes it the right conservation Unlike some nearby temples The old sema leaves were painted with gold paint on the amulet, leaving nothing old. but unfortunately the president of the church which is an ancient monk was obscured by the statue of Reverend Father Sod should have built a separate temple of Luang Pho Sod or placed in a place that does not obscure the principal image of the church Wat Bot Bon is a Buddhist temple under the Maha Nikaya clergy located in Village No. 4, Ban Bang Kho, Bang Khu Wiang Subdistrict, Bang Kruai District, Nonthaburi Province. Wat Bot Bon was built around the year 2300 in the Ayutthaya period, the history and the name of the creator are unknown. It is said that the King of Ayutthaya used to come and stay at this temple. Later, he gave the land to be built as a temple. By His Majesty to create a Thavornwat that is an Ayutthaya style of art There is a unique The ubosot is in the shape of a junk boat. Senasana and Puchaniyawathu buildings, including the original Ubosot, which was registered as a historic site under the supervision of the Fine Arts Department and there is a record of the Fine Arts Department that it had been restored in 1932 due to the porch of the Ubosot being destroyed so the face was changed. New porch and roof tiles, and about the year 2500, repairing the deteriorated wall again. Inside is enshrined the principal Buddha image named Phra Buddha Chinnarat, and there are 28 Buddha images and 2 disciples of the Buddha image. Si) Built more than 100 years ago, four twelve-square chedi indented in front of the original ubosot In front of the temple, next to Bangkok Noi Canal, there is a clock tower built in 1989, 15 monks' cloisters, which are half-timbered and half-timbered buildings. and a prayer hall built in 1977 Near the temple there is Wat Bot Bon floating market. Open every day The temple arranges to make merit by offering robes in the middle of the river, which is a very rare tradition. Nice temple (in 2 parts I would say) with week end floating market and ample parking lot. There is on one side (adjacent to the floating market) the traditional buildings of a Thai temple and on the other side of the road a magnificent building surrounded by a white wall that houses statues of Buddha and of a reverred monk. The access to this building is more controlled and one must take their shoes off before acceeding the compound.

Since the floating market at Wat Takien was closed during Covid-19, I went on to the nearby floating market at Wat Bot Bon. You can feed the fish and enjoy buying fruits at the tiny floating market where inflation cannot affect your purchasing power. I paid 25 baht for 2 bunches of bananas, awesome!!

(Translated by Google) The temple is in the same alley as Wat Takian. Drive to the end of the alley, few people, ample parking. There is a place to feed the fish. Today I can only pay respects around Did not enter the church/cathedral Because I saw it as a staircase, I'm not sure if there is a wheelchair ramp or not. The floating market doesn't have much to sell. I saw an aunt selling snacks with stuffing. So I bought it back. It turned out to be very delicious. Don't know how to sell all the time? Let it pass, will support again (21/5/65) (Original)

The temple is very big and beautiful. Both chapels are open for visitors to worship inside. There is a floating market where the owner of the floating market makes loud noises that disturb the worshipers and pray a lot. singing very loudly The floating market is in the temple area. Then they set up a singing stage in the inner part, very close to the church. Anyone who went in to pray would definitely not know. The temple should handle it. This is a Buddhist place, not a place for singing. Music is considered the number 1 precept that monks must abstain from. Having music in the temple causes the monks to be disturbed. And it may be harder for some to abstain from music.
