Could’ve been a good place to stay but the noise from the hotel’s own restaurant will ruin your stay. You’d have thought with such remote riverside location and vintage decoration this would be a peaceful getaway place, but the loud music with wall penetrating bass from evening to 11 pm will make you feel like you’re staying at a cheap hotel in Bangkok night district. If you are looking for a peaceful holiday you’d better look elsewhere.

What an amazingly quirky place this is! I want to be careful About my review. First off, I have now stayed here multiple times, so I feel qualified to make a reasonable review. The title of my review is: incredibly quirky place, that you will enjoy, if you can put up with the irritation! 😊 This place is beautiful! The staff is sweet, but, they don’t understand four star and five-star service! The restaurant especially, is very inconsistent. Sometimes the breakfast is delicious, and other times, you are like, seriously? Am I at motel 6?? I’ve given up trying to order room service. Each time, they get it wrong in some amazingly laughable way! I thought it was me at first, but no. But my main frustration is that the Internet is purposely set up to knock you off every 15 minutes. And then to get back on requires 13 keystrokes! Why? Security?? The password is published!! And you better not capitalize! 😳 It’s like, the engineer just wants to torture customers. If you care about Internet, this might be a problem. But let me be clear. I really like this place. I feel like it’s a jewel in the rough. If you can deal with the quirkiness, then you will really love this place! It’s just one of those things that you have to put up with, when you stay at the beautiful buddy oriental Riverside!

I was there for the wedding location and this place is the most of our favorite in the list. There're many rooms type and style outdoor and indoor, garden, river-side. With the Thai contemporary style of the building and decorations. There is good thai restaurant with a river view. Good for dinner. Staffs are great on their job. Fully ready to support and service

Great hotel. Very spacious rooms. Air con works perfectly. Breakfasts are great. The view when you eat is stunning. Just next to the river. Swimming pool in great condition. Service very good. There is a car callection from the owner you can take a look. Some cool rides in there. Highly recommended.

My second visit. Very quiet and secluded. Room old fashioned and very romantic. Beautiful swimming pools and botanical gardens,also vintage car museum. Staff very friendly and attentive. Feels like a 5* hotel. If you love peace and quiet this is the place for you. If you need to be entertained then maybe not so. Not cheap but very much value for money.

Looking for a quiet get away while in Bangkok, this is it. Just make sure to be prepared for a quiet time as there is not much to do in the area except relax. The hotel is set in an old fort and is steeped in old world class, the restaurant is excellent and not over priced.

Great Thai restaurant! Food was delicious, many selections definitely with a kick. Large outdoor space with great views of the river, but we decided to eat indoors to avoid the intermittent spritzing (visited during the rainy season). The indoor dining space is also quite impressive. Very large and can easily accommodate big groups. Decor definitely not Asian and more colonial, plantation style. I liked it. Bonus live music in the background, a duo on acoustic guitar with vocals. A nice experience.

A gorgeous place with really nice food! It looks really posh and expensive but the food was relatively inexpensive. The aesthetics of the place is perfect for sitting around with your family and friends and have a look at the water that surrounds the out door restaurant. And OH MY GOD the collection of vintage cars and bikes was perfect to look at when you're waiting for food (ah yea the service was kind of lacking some enthusiasms but the place and food really made up for it).
