A hidden gem in the heart of the city. The restaurant might be one of the dining venues at the St Regis, but the food surpasses others within the same property. They offer extensive lunch and dinner menu, and their food doesn’t disappoint. I usually go there for their express lunch, which is a complete steal at THB 499 and you get two Appetizer plus one main dish. The atmosphere is quite nice, a combination of modern and contemporary. Outdoor seatings are available but reservations are recommended. Too bad the service is quite lukewarm but that seems to be for the whole property, not just this restaurant. Overall, it’s a nice restaurant for business lunch and dinner, and definitely a great place to come hang out after hour.

My experience at Zuma Bangkok was disappointing and left me feeling upset and disappointed. The manager, Nam, informed us that one of our friends couldn't dine with us because he was not wearing shoes, which is against their dress code policy. We complied with her request and our friend left, and we ordered takeout for him. However, during our meal, I noticed a group of locals seated nearby, one of whom was wearing a beach sandal instead of a proper shoe. I approached Nam and asked her to clarify the dress code policy, and she reiterated that shoes were mandatory for all guests. When I pointed out the man in the beach sandal, Nam simply stated that he was allowed to stay because his footwear covered his toes. I was shocked and disappointed by Nam's response, as it felt like she was treating me unfairly and ignoring what was happening right in front of her. I was hoping for an apology or acknowledgement of the inconsistency, but she didn't provide one. Didem, our server, was very respectful and provided great service, but unfortunately, my negative experience with Nam overshadowed that. Overall, I cannot recommend Zuma Bangkok due to the inconsistent treatment I received from the manager. I hope that they take steps to ensure their policies are enforced consistently and that all guests are treated equally.

This place is amazing. The vibe is out of this world, great music that gets you in the right mood and it is at the perfect volume. Service was superb, everyone was super nice and helpful, every time your glass is empty someone comes over to refill it, love that. The food came out super quick and was delicious. Do yourself a favor and take the wagyu a4, not cheap but totally worth the price.

Excited to be back at Zuma ! As good as it gets. The food, the service and the ambience is absolutely amazing. Can’t get enough of the amazing Japanese food here. Truly a unique dining experience. It is highly advisable to make a reservation before coming here, else the wait can be long.

Only a few customers are here in this time (Jan 2020). It opens from 5pm-9pm. Food is good, attentive service, hygiene with temperature check, alcohol gel & distance between table. Try Grilled black cod, Beef Gyoza, Hamachi & some desserts.

We are from London and love the original and this one proved just as good. Amazing vibe and bar area, lovely outdoor space to eat and be seen (or not seen as you wish) nice private room as well. The food was without fail just as good as the original. Stylish and very yummy. But be prepared for London prices!

Great sushi buffet on Sunday brunch with great varieties of choices and I was blown away. The restaurant is in the St. Regis hotel but operated by outside concession so I did not get the BONVOY Marriott points.

A carefully crafted menu, heavily influenced by Japanese food and culture, Zuma caters to a wide audience. The Sunday brunch is a hidden gem and in it’s “all you can eat” style of high quality offerings for a special occasion. The sushi and dessert platters will take your breath away, if you manage to finish either of them. It’s best to come with friends or a big family and don’t forget to bring your appetite.

Zuma’s food is all about the eye. The taste is good (for 30% of the menu). For people with dietary and allergy problems, this is a horrible place to go. As I, a person with several different food allergies, asked the manager to talk to the chef and make me a dessert without eggs, he replied with a sharp NO. A chef with many years of experience should at least be able to get off a few meals off the top of his head. So like a said, a good meal will be okay for people without problems but for others, I will be one to speak for the matter. NOPE

The Erawan Tea Room was our MUST GO in Bangkok. Their all-you-can-eat menu was extremely attractive both for its good food and good value. Unlimited fresh fruit juices were our favorite too! We could order lemon grass drinks, pineapple juice, rose apple juice, etc. all were so refreshing, especially for the tropical weather of Thailand.

If I could leave ten stars I would. This was by far my favorite meal in Bangkok. My waitress, Vera, was wonderful and pleasant. She recommended me the best dishes and drinks. I came here solo after a long day of work to treat myself and I was not disappointed. Don’t let the dim lit photos discourage you, these dishes look incredible and they taste even better. The wagyu was great, sushi was incredible, and the drinks were uniquely delicious.

Fallen quality and service Over priced sushi and average service A regular customer here but over the months, the quality has fallen Looks like the restaurant has forgotten that customer is most important and there are other Japanese restaurants out there Have to admit that the ambience is good but sushi is average and overpriced Staff service are average, not very attentive Green tea refill takes 5 mins to refill Even if your bill exceeds 10,000+ they say you can only sit for 2 hours and have to get up, funny hahaha Oh and if you cut a cake here by bringing it even if its your birthday, they charge you 500 baht hahahahha! Greedy much? Never returning, so sad

Non stop dishes keep arriving to our table, one more tasty than the other. Outstanding experience in Bangkok! Definitely come back!

Great experience at the place. Food was pretty good, would strongly recommend to get the black cod with miso. Very tasty and easy to eat. The desert, chocolate lava with toffee flowing out was simply delicious as well. The chef came out to say hi and ask about the food which was a friendly touch

I’ve been to different ZUMAs across few countries, the service here and atmosphere are something to recall! The vibe created by the DJ and drummer makes your meal memorable! The location is also great, but the decoration and the open kitchen is great! Well done on the service, this is a place I’d definitely come back for, keep it up!

This Japanese restaurant follows an Izakaya style, offering a lively and modern atmosphere. They present high-quality cuisine blending Japanese flavors with Western techniques. The Sunday brunch is a standout, providing an all-you-can-eat experience for a generous 4 hours. Fresh sushi and delightful main courses like black cod and steak make it a worthwhile meal. In the evening, the bars come to life with vibrant energy. The drinks are excellent, and they frequently host special guest bartending events.

Love everything here. My first time for a Thursday dinner and wasn’t disappointed at all. Tried their Signature Daikoku Tasting menu and definitely enjoyed every dish especially the miso marinated black cod 🤍 what a gem! And another highlight was dessert plate! The molten chocolate was unbeatable!

We have had a very good meal here. Price wise is not overly crazy but rather suits the foods quality, the craftsmanship and the ingredients that you get. Portion is on the small side. Overall it was delicious and fresh if you are looking for something special but not over the top, it’s here.

The place is cool and chic, especially the outdoors. If you are gluten free, simply don't bother. I came here because I thought they catered for gluten free/coeliacs but actually all that meant was that I could hardly eat anything. The little dishes I could have gave me a really bad stomach straight away. Not good. For such an expensive restaurant I would have expected more. Unfortunately, I wouldn't recommend it.

  • 3/5 Peter M. 4 years ago on Google
Food is very, very good and the place itself is also really nice - 5 stars for both those things. However, it's let down by three things: 1: poor service 2: it seems to be flexible to dietary requirements and have GF free stuff (partner is G intolerant, was fine for me), but actually that just means that they either tell you a) you can't have X or b) you can have Y but without the sauce/flavouring - so many dishes are served lacking the key element of that makes them so delicious 3: the cost - it is, as I said, very good, but the cost is slightly higher than the quality of what is delivered (food/service/etc.). For the price, I'd expect much better service and much better flexibility for those with dietary restrictions. For it to be fair, I'd expect the price to be reduced by a quarter or a third.

THE MOST DELICIOUS GRILLED SWEET CORN I'VE EVER HAD IN MY LIFE! (Not exaggerating, srsly) went here and order miso soup, spinach with sesame, sweet corn robata, salmon avocado roll, and chirashi maki. ALL ARE DELICIOUS! oh God that was insane! You won't regret paying such amount to eat very tasty foods. Yes, it wasn't cheap restaurant i might say, not for an everyday-visit type of restaurant (but of you're a billionaire and wanting to do so then please do, who am i to judge tho lol) i would love to visit on daily basis, i just couldn't afford to haha. Service was good, but I'm more impressed with the food to be honest. Forgot to take pics, damn

I love Angus beef steak, lamb, spaghetti mango sticky rice here so much! Staff always helpful and recommended food. Nice place and clean. I recommend to have lunch and dinner here in weekday because more comfortable and not too crowed people.

Erawan Tea Room is not all about afternoon tea. It also serves Thai food during lunch and dinner services. The service team was efficient during my quick lunch. Food was delicious and classic too. Actually, I am kind of hesitate to use the word classic when having the usual Thai food. Why use the word classic when it is redundant to be called classic since it is still the food that people here consume on the daily basis. It should be those abnormal ones that have to be described properly. Anyway, it is good here and don't over look it. Kind of underrated at the moment IMHO.

We made reservations for lunch and ordered a la carte. The fettuccini paglio e fiene I chose was excellent. The noodles were perfectly al dente, balanced well by the mushrooms, authentic Italian sausage and a very rich truffle cream sauce with a strong umami flavor. Though the portions appear small due to the size of the plates, they’re very filling. The drink, a lychee iced tea, was also very good, with just the right amount of sweetness. Combined with the superb service and ambience, Spasso is an excellent option if you are looking for higher end Italian cuisine in central Bangkok.

The Barcardi was fake and within minutes started to get a bad headache. Guess the King of Fake Alcohol sells his supply here.

No view. Portions were small and pricey. We asked for hot water to replenish the tea pot but waitress poured warm water instead. When we told them..no apologies..they just poured out the warm water and poured in hot water. Very u expected poor service for the price. Food is normal thai food in one bite sizes. Not worth the price. Go elsewhere please.

A delicious Japanese restaurant in Bangkok. Nice space, good design, impressive kitchen and bar, rich menu, good service.

Absolutely fantastic japanese food and the service was just pure perfection. So very helpful, kind and informed about all the dishes and drinks. The music is a little too loud but that's just Bangkok. Would highly recommend.

Lovely dining experience. Talented chefs, delicious food. Service can be a little cold and rushed. Take note of the dress code, as I was asked to go back upstairs and change my shoes (oops). Worth it in the end for the food.

Good drinks, lovey service and wow what a vibe inside. They had a DJ plus a guy playing live congas to the house/chill music. Not everyday that happens.

Had a free flow Japanese Sunday brunch at Zuma, was so stuffed with the free flow entrees and prosecco and wine. Great service and it was topped up with an amazing dessert platter at the end of the brunch. Highly recommended for the price and quality of food.

They gave us a little bit of a hard time getting in when we could see it wasn’t full, even when my friend said he was staying at The St. Regis, they still acted like they were fully booked… They said we could have a drink at the bar if we stood when there were two open seats in plain sight. We ordered drinks and after 15 minutes of standing, we asked the bartender if we could sit in the open chairs at the bar and he said of course. The bar staff was wonderful, but can’t say the same about the ladies and security guard in the front. Besides dealing with getting in, I like the vibes here. Enjoyed the music the DJ was playing and they have Tito’s which was great to see being from Texas! :)

Threw a birthday dinner celebration for a dear friend. Ambience, staff attentiveness, chef Agostino's fine attention, all went very well. Love the Tomahawk! Love the birthday sing along! Recommend this restaurant when you want to celebrate a special event/milestone!

Exceptional service paired with delectable Japanese cuisine in a contemporary style restaurant right in the heart of Bangkok. Came here for my birthday lunch and they were very kind to present a mochi dessert with fresh fruits, a sweet gesture which I appreciate. Their staff were attentive to our needs and was always ready for us when we needed assistance. I would believe that this cosy place makes a perfect dinner date location

If your looking for VFM, this is not the place. Expensive tasting menu, with average food (cod in miso was dry, salad was soaking wet in sauce, dessert was just a basic “pool fruit platter”) 2 stars for a fancy, expensive atmosphere, friendly staff and good fresh fishes. Bangkok can offer so much more than that.

We set outdoors. The staff is not very attentive. We ordered for sake and water. Sake came first and had to ask for water 3 times. Food is really good. This time at the door, newly hired staff who didn't recognize my boss. My boss is very regular. Luckily the manager arrived and gave us a table as we wanted to see outside.

The restaurant’s staff was very professional. Service was top notch and fast. One note I want to make first is the atmosphere did not meet standards. It was very warm and temped in the restaurant and the DJ played a lot of Arab music which was distracting, it would’ve been nice if they would play a mix of tunes. The food was also exceptional, however the lamb was kind of chewy. The sahsimi and sushi was excellent and fresh. The desserts were also superb! I recommend the tiramisu!!! It was delicous. The Mango, Krati (Coconut) and Vanilla were so smooth and eloquent. The lobster was soooo delicious, but the portion was very small for the price. This is a low 4 star, improved by only excellent service.

👍👍 Honestly much better than maidreamin Akihabara 本店. Other than the super long food wait time, food was good. Staff were nice and kept coming up to talk to us. Very fun vibes with the mini concerts. Very cute everything. But of course very expensive.
