(Ig: CanEatOneMehhh) There used to be another branch. But i could never find it… because the mall has a winding floor system and i have terrible sense of direction. So I resorted to this branch since i accidentally stumbled upon this. Not as charming as the other one. But the food tho 🤨🤨🤨 1) Salted Egg Som Tum: 8.5/10 Perfect balance of salty, sour, fishy, spicy all mixed with the wonderful crunch of the different vegetables and young papaya and nuts. Tell them to reduce the spiciness to ur own level. 2) Fried Chicken Wing 10/10 Everybody can fry wings - but not everyone can fry them to this crispy. Crazy crispy and flavorful and yet crazy juicy inside. Urgh! 3) Grilled Beef: 10/10 The perfect cook on the meat. Tender and melts in your mouth. Pair with their spicy chili sauce. In melts and makes you cry. Perfection. 4) Sweet leaves with egg: 8/10 Very simple dish. But executed to perfection. Fresh leaves that is crunchy and sweet, slight bitter tinge at the end. But so pleasant 5) Larb Moo (pork in herbs and spices) 9/10 Another phenomenal dish. So flavorful and so spicy. Lots of herbaceous notes to add a bright lift to the dish. Lovely. 6) Drinks: 9/10 Lime slushie was crazy lime-y and sour. Thats always a plus. Its sweet but its also so sour to balance it off. Definitey made from freah lime. U just know it. Herbal tea. Made with assorted fruits such as longan making a perfect thirst quencher on a hot hot day. 7) Tub Tim Krob (red ruby): 10/10 The coconut pieces is to die for. Trust me. So good! And theyre generous with their rubies which were perfect. One of the best. Overall score: 9.2/10 Bonus 0.8 because the overall experience is really really delicious and the price is fair. 🤭 🌟Final Score: 10/10 💛 ************************** Can Eat One Mehhh??? 100% 💯 one of my fave places to eat in Bangkok! Highly recommended 🤭

Simply the best Som Tam in the city for me. Has been my fave for the past few years now and never miss a chance to visit every time I’m in the city. My all time fave is the Chicken Wings. Simply best. Sometimes one large portion of it is not enough for me… You should try their wide selection of menu. There’s something for everyone here.

Ran out of Thai milk tea right smack during lunch time. Had to settle for other drinks Been here several times but trying new dishes today. Reputable for its northern Thai dishes, with spicy as their main flavour. But it’s good! Service can be very much better. I waited 20 min for my soup to be served which I thought it was quite the most straightforward dish

Average Thai food in a restaurant setting, great for escaping the heat, not for culinary enjoyment. Most of the dishes had overly sweet and salty gravies (compared to most roadside food stalls we tried). We got plain rice noodles to balance out the taste. Chicken wings were not too bad.

This place has waiting list. We came here for dinner and need to wait 30min before seated. They have extensive menu. Our favourite: The fish with spicy salad on side Beef wuth spicy sauce Mushroom tomyam Omelette( this is not menu ) The beef is very nice surprise because we didn’t expect much. The quality of meat is good, cooked to perfection and taste good. Get the fish if you want something sweet, spicy and sour. The sauce is addicting. Their specialty is Som Tam but we prefer the ones that has stronger taste.

So crowded during dinner time.. their best selling menu is the Som Tum (papaya salad and Gai Tod (chicken wings) The chicken wings tasted like garlic fried chicken. It’s salty, not so crispy and tender.. it was just okay.. The plus point is the place cause it’s suitable for hanging out with your friends/couple

Restaurant in Siam Soi 5. Isaan orientated. Quality of the food is sublime, good taste. The portions are a little small, the prices a little high. Overall it is recommended, because it is a good food experience.

Taste is slightly difference from opening, Somtum (papaya salad) with fermented fish is too salty and only that taste not too good as it is. Moo yor tor (Northern sausage deep fried) was good. But all in all price is too high either restaurant located around Siam square but price compare to portion is too high.

A quick pitstop after shopping. It was a satisfying experience indulging in some of Thailand’s traditional dishes. The somtam and chicken wings are a must try.

We came across Somtam while shopping around Siam Square area. It looks pretty decent from the outside with a menu that’s Thai enough for us to try out. So we ordered the 3 must have items from their menu which is the fried chicken, grilled pork neck & fried noodle with pork floss. We added on a deep fried corn fritters. Overall food was edible but not impressive. The fried chicken was ok but somehow we found the ones by the roadside much better. Chicken was fresh though but the flour wasn’t that flavorful. The grilled pork neck was ok but the spicy sauce was great ! Didn’t like their pork floss noodles which was wet and tasted odd. The place was als not full and there were a continuous flow of customers coming in. So we can see that the place is popular even with locals. Service was prompt but inside was quite warm also.

Always full of customers. Every time I went to Bangkok, I always go to this restaurant, also recommended to my foreign friends and relatives. Prices are a little expensive than normal Thai restaurants.

We came on a monday evening and queued about 20mins. The portions are tiny and food was mediocre and pricey. We only enjoyed the pork jowl and spring roll. Mushroom soup is extremely spicy but we liked it. Corn papaya salad worth a try. Sadly the fish was out of stock. Won't be back again as the food werent that special.

Passed by and tried their local food! It's so tasty and definitely worth trying! Their food is super good! Mixed mushrooms Tom Yum soup Half Boiled Liver Spicy Salad Sweet Corn Fritters Instant noodle spicy salad with pork jowl I tried these and I love it. It's sourish, sweet and amazing. The corn fritters were very crispy and sweet too! The instant noodles spicy salad was impressive too!

Loved the pork jowl and som tam. It's slightly on the spicier side so do request for less spicy if you can't take too much spice.

Ordered the Thai rice noodles, fried chicken and pork jowl. Price is good. It’s slightly spicy but is just enough spiciness. The chicken has enough garlic. Noodle just have a little too much vegetable inside it. They don’t have coffee here for those who wants to have coffee for brunch.

The food here is awesome! Can't remember all the names but basically enjoyed the Roasted Pork, Pork Liver, Tomyam Soup, Fried Chicken and Veggies in the photo.

Great local restaurant that located at the busy street (Siam Soi 5). Very crowded during dinner time, lots of local and tourists are queued for meal. Reasonable price for 3 persons. Authentic Thai taste! Must try for the fried chicken and the soup. Definitely a good restaurant to try out after shopping at the mall beside.

I would suggest everyone to try the fried chicken. The food was delicious but menu was limited and abit pricey. Overall the shop is clean and the service is good.

A highly famous Thai street food restaurant! They offer delicious Thai cuisine. The price compared to the real street food are more higher, but reasonable and more hygiene. The sour spicy pork soup is very spicy, be careful before you have it.

This is one the best local Thai authentic resturant that I had visit. There don’t serve the normal Thai Tom Yum Soup but they have other varies of local Thai cuisines. We went there for lunch hence not much people waiting for seats. We order 3 dishes and were blown away but the tastes. They’re really good and reasonably priced. The serving is good and sufficient

This restaurant is specialised in Isaan Thai Food. I would highly recommend the Fried Chicken Wings, the Som Tam (papaya salad) and the Larb. Pair them with the sticky rice as well

The place is small so it feels crowded an packed. Foods were about average. For a place names Sontamnua I’d expect they have mind-blowing sontam. They do have a good variety of sontam but I found most of what I tried subpar.

Made 3rd visit, and finally I’m writing this review. I confirm that their Somtam and Fried Chicken are so authentic and tasty. Just prepare enough napkins to wipe sweat off. I’ll repeat this orders in the future.
