When I saw this place on a local foodie list—I just had to try it. It didn’t disappoint that’s for sure. I ordered chicken Soulvaki 420฿ and falafel 220฿. Normally I would complain about something, but all I can say is that this place is excellent. They really nailed the ambiance here, From the moment I stepped in I felt like I stepped out of Bangkok. The seating was comfortable, especially the plush bench seating that runs along the wall. The staff were amazing from the greeting the moment the door opened until the fond farewell. I can easily say that this was the best service I’ve ever received in Bangkok. Very impressive. Also, they sat me in the most appropriate seat for a party of one which pleased me. 📍I walked from Silom MRT station and it took about ten minutes. I did make a wrong turn following Google Maps walking directions. You can access the restaurant from Sala Daeng 1 by car or on foot. When I left I walked to Lumpini MRT station and it took about 6 minutes (but this way you’ll have to cross the intersection). If taking a taxi from the station, It would be best to depart from Lumpini Station.

😡 1. They got our reservation wrong to start off with as they led us to a table and after we got back from the restroom our table was taken with no one explaining to us what happened, even worse when we asked they said it was wrong table at first and led us way to the dark corner at the back… what the heck with this kind of service?!?! 2. Overpriced dishes but maybe it’s the cost of the OPA! dish throwing tradition, who knows?! The taste is great, we love the hummus and beef skewer dish most but they’re too pricey compared with the portion served. What’s fun is the opa tradition and the backdrops for taking picture, we paid for the experience.

Went there for my best friend’s birthday, not too much people on Monday, looks like all the tables was celebrant someone’s birthday. 🎉 The restaurant is very spacious, nice Greek dishes, but maybe the people who come to here prefer pay more attention about the atmosphere. I heard about that the themed nights are always a blast, hope I can join next time. 🎊 Breaking the plate is really a good experience, just write something you believe and break it, make all your pray come true. 🍽

This is a very nice restaurant, nice design and atmosphere and very friendly staff. The menu also claims that it's a Michelin restaurant. The fusion Greek menu is very creative and sets your expectations quite high. Also the food presentation is very trendy. However all this is just a show and the food taste fails to impress.

This restaurant is renowned among many people for serving delectable Mediterranean cuisine. Personally, I think the price may seem a bit steep in relation to the portion sizes and quality but it's justified by the lively and enjoyable atmosphere it offers. The restaurant hosts exhilarating Greek parties every night, complete with vibrant dance music and entertaining shows, making the experience worth the expense.

Ambience is great, especially for a party. Plate smashing experience is unique as well. At one point, a DJ got all the birthday people in the room to dance together and he also taught the whole room Greek words. It was lively and super fun. I gave only 4 stars because the quality of food isn't that great for the price. The falafel was really dry and the meat was mediocre. You get to see flaming shrimp and all that, but that's if you like spectacles. If you want good food, I'd pass. If you want a fun experience, go for it.

Food was good, cocktails were ok 👌, however the 1start is for the service. I first thought there is only two waiters and they were serving 6 tables, but I couldn't help notice how the waiter's were helping other tables and walk by our table 5 times and not even cleaning the table after the appetizers, Same thing happened when we were done with our dinner, I had travelled to many places around the world and just was extremely strange to see how these two waiters were willing to acomódate other tables that happened to be Caucasian and Asians, my husband is Caucasian I'm Latin but it was so obvious. Very sad to see this happening. Again the food was good, but I will never recommend for the service I received it.

Probably one of the best places for greek food in Bangkok! If you're having a celebration, especially with bigger groups, here is the place to go. Although we were there on a Sunday night, the staff were very nice and made the atmosphere great. Service was definitely top notch.

Love night scenery and atmosphere since it has been Longtable. Good choice for who finds a calm place, nice city's view for drinks and talk. Food and drinks taste are acceptable, not too expensive. Staffs were very active, and restaurants provide gold/silver olive wreaths for photos gimmick. Hotel guests got 10% discount.

One of my worst experiences i got during eating dinner at this restaurant. Staff no nothing about their Greece food and taste in competition with prize so very bad. And also after 8:30 pm the restaurant was almost empty even its inly open evening time. The tradition to throw plates on floor with buy special plates in floor as traditional in Greece was so bad in a touristic no professional way😞. This after my test of more than 2200 restaurants!!

A fun and entertaining restaurant located in Sala Daeng area. Staff are friendly and polite and also speaks english. Food is delicious (although slightly on the salty side). Highlight of the restaurant is definitely the plate smashing event. Good for groups of friends. Not suitable for shy introverts haha.

Aesop is one of the best places to wine and dine in Bkk! Good food, amazing ambiance, tasty cocktails and wonderful people. If you're looking for a place to have greek authentic food and cultural immersion (sort of ahahah) go visit them!

Aesop Bangkok has delivered more ways than I had expected. I’m no expert in Greek cuisine but one thing is certain. It was a damn good meal. Service was great and there was also Thursday trivia, where customers gets to compete against other table for glory, through the most trivial knowledges. Each week as I’m told with its own theme. Definitely would bring a group of friends to Thursday Trivia!

Good vibe the food was tasty. Good place to hangout with friends or host a party. The location was quite hidden. The price is slightly high compared to the portion but I realuzed it may because imported and special ingredients. Staff is friendly and helpful. Smashing the plates was fun and I believe it would be good to know the background of this kind of tradition so the customers will also learn Greek tradition through food.

Really had higher hopes for this place . The menu is very limited and full of wagyu meat- if I want a steak, I go to steak house . Missing traditional Greek dishes. The taste is average. The ambience is very mixed definitely very modern and party vibes. A place to show off and to be seen. Prices are high. Service was great and very attentive, but not your every week place for sure .

Aesops is a true gem that shouldn't be missed! The menu offers a great variety of flavourful Greek dishes. My favourites include the saganaki (flaming cheese), octopus, lamb shoulder rack, and baklava. The interior, adorned with charming Greek elements, creates a beautiful and fun setting for a memorable dining experience. The Aesops family are incredibly friendly and attentive, and they definitely know how to get the party started.

I had a very gooooood time with friends. It was great that the restaurant has an activity (the game) during the dining time. The food is good & the service is much better. All the staffs are trained and have full knowledge about food and drink. They all are helpful & super friendly.

Aesops Greek Restaurant is an absolute astonishing restaurant. Definitely the best restaurant in Bangkok I have ever been to and the best Greek restaurant I have ever visited and I have been into a lot. The service there is amazing, the staff is super friendly, the view from the restaurant is out of this world. The food tastes even better than you would expect. The main chef came by our table and greeted us very warmly too.

Food tasted good indeed, not variety of menus but most dishes are tasty with reasonable price compared to portion and quality. I felt most dishes are bit salty (not sure if this is normal, since i do not eat much of salty foods). Good vibe and good service, staff is very attentive, friendly yet polite. I came for dinner on weekday and not busy, however still recommend to book in advance. Parking is a bit difficult to find, you can park in front of Column Tower, tell the security guard that will be at Aesop. Overall is a good experience for Greek night dining, good to come with group of friends as well.

Absolutely fantastic! Food is insanely good - flavours are intense, seasoning is perfect and the portions are huge. Got the dips Platter and mixed grill between 2 of us, left feeling ready to burst...but in the best way! Cocktails went down a treat too, and you HAVE to try the custard cake for dessert 😋

Wishing you were on the Greek islands this summer instead of lockdown? No problem, because Aesop's Bangkok has got you covered. They have packaged authentically delicious Greek food into boxes that can easily be delivered to your door (with free shipping on orders over 1000 baht!). We ordered Elektra's Epic Gyro Set, which contains 3 gyros: chicken, falafel and halloumi cheese, with a side of fries and spicy chili dips. The gyros have generous fillings and fresh veggies wrapped in thick pita bread, plus surprise fries tucked inside (true Greek style!). Comes with a side of fries, perfectly seasoned and smelling of Greek seaside restaurants. The second box was Athena's Greek Salad and Dip set: a hearty Greek salad with plenty of feta, olives, fresh tomatoes and cucumbers. Super refreshing, and lathered in olive oil. This also comes with fluffy pita pockets and creamy tzatziki and hummus dips. It might not be a trip to the islands, but it is definitely a taste of it!

The food was great, highly recommend the Chef’s Mix Dips so you can try different Greek dipping sauce with the bread. The halloumi salad was also one of my favorites. Overall, it was a fun experience to learn a little bit about the Greek culture (you’ll get to smash some plates at the end 🍽).

Located in a quiet side street in Silom about 10 mins walk from Silom Complex Mall and Saladaeng BTS station, this Greek restaurant is a rare find in Bangkok. I rarely go eat other cuisine in Bangkok but I have been back to this restaurant 5 times normally to being friends. The quality of the food is first rate and portions are very generous. Come with a big appetite. Also try the grilled Octopus, sooooo goood! They also do the traditional throw the plate on the floor to celebrate anyone having a celebration, and the whole restaurant does it at the same time! Opa!!!

  • 5/5 Van T. 9 months ago on Google
The food was delicious and the atmosphere was really nice too. We pay 5000 baht for 4 people. Just one note: the waiter tends to take away the plates or glasses before we clean finish it ha ha. With that improvement, they will be purrrfect. The dish mashing at around 8:30pm is also fun. They give out dishes for customers to break (safe)

I just got back from Greece vacation and feel like I want to have more greek food here in Bangkok. End up here at Aesop. The food is great. I ordered Greek salad- which seems to me kind of fusion plate with good decoration than a usual one. The taste is great! But it was not my expectation to see it decorated beautifully. Gyros chicken is good. Anyway, pita bread is a little not well warmed - it’s kinda hard compared to original ones I have eaten in Athens. Overall, I think this restaurant is good in terms of food taste- like original ones. But it comes with high price too.

The best place for occasion (eg. Birthday, reunion, farewell) food and drink are good. Atmosphere is the best. I like the plate throwing and dancing part 😁

Loveeeee this Greek restaurant. The food the vibe and their weekend pop quiz event! Definitely worth coming here. Oh if you are driving, you will have to park on the side road. No dedicated parking space here.

Overall, food was fresh and authentic. Hummus was great. Skewers were also delicious. Staffs were nice and helpful. Park at nearby Siri Sathorn Hotel, 2 hours parking fee will be waived if there is a stamp from the restaurant.

Went here for the company end of year dinner. Food and drinks are interesting and delicious. A fun place fits for feasts for a bigger group of people. Quite a few spots for photos and the staff also provides you with some lighting, which is very helpful. While the staff was really nice and friendly, the food proportion fell short of my previous expectation. I’ve ordered from the place for takeout before in form of food boxes. The food boxes are so plentiful and so I was surprised to see the dine-in proportion being so small. Our party of 6 had to order 2 sets of food, and the sum of bill came out rather pricey.

This is a very unique restaurant in Bangkok. The restaurant decoration and environment are very nice. The staffs are very friendly and eager to help. The food tastes are delicious. I'd recommend you to try this place. Cheers!

Hand picked this place because I was searching for some familiar food after 16 days in Thailand. Unfortunately came right when the kitchen was closing but the owner was nice enough to serve us a few dishes which were amazing. Would have come back again to try some of the menu items if I weren’t traveling tomorrow. So plz visit instead of me. Yassou!
