Located near victory monument, good to reach by bts or taxi. The place is crowded during weekends, so it is good to book in advance. The band is good and performs acoustic, Latino, and jazz from old classics. Food options are limited, and so are for drinks, especially craft beers, but they 've good cocktails. Nice place for a visit.

Another front row seat with affordable awesome Singha draft. (Jan'18) Enjoyed my 2nd trip here... This time with a front row seat. Awesome Ped Bluesman performance once again... Great live jazz, full band and several singers. Ended up here spontaneously and it was quite the surprise. Attentive staff and plenty of good food and tasty drink choices to keep you entertained for the night. The place closes at 2am. A couple tables outside for smoking but they lacked a fan which would be a great addition. Very little parking and when you come after 9pm, the place is packed till midnight.

Amazing jazz club! Got to see the Bangkok connection live and they were so good! Drinks were okay but the vibe and interior is great! Definitely a place to be if you’re looking for live music. Would definitely recommend checking out this place!

One of the best jazz pub in Bangkok I've ever been to. Though the interior of the bar less trendy, but the bands performance really win all music lovers hearts. I always make sure returning to Saxaphone Pub whenever I travel to Bangkok. Great and consistent performances, better and better towards the end of the night. Servers may seem cold to foreign customers maybe because of language barrier, but they're actually very thoughtful, they tried to move us few times without being asked until we got the perfect seat to enjoy the live band! 👍♥️🌹

We go there for the music and of course all band we listen was Amazing. Also there is a good atmosphere in the bar people's are friendly and enjoying the place. Be aware this bar is quickly full and if you arrive late you might no have place. The food is very good and tasty, the price normal for this kind of place. The service was good, but we saw that waitress are more friendly with regular customer or customer who ordered a bottle. Sometimes they do mistake by not bring the good order. The very bad point of this bar is cocktail. They are more expensive than the average of Bangkok AND they are not tasty. We was 2 person we ordered 10 differents cocktail and they have all the same taste. They don't use good product for mix with the alcohol so at least the cocktail taste only the base of the alcohol. I recommend to order a bottle of liquor for drinks on the rock or for mix with soda. Or a bottle of wine.

Music here was amazing. To sit in a good seat, you have to reserve or come earlier! I wasn't that satisfied with the food, but music just solved everything...

We visited Saxophone on a Saturday Night around 11:30pm and the place was someone full. We found a table at the back of the pub and weren’t able to see the band so we asked to be moved closer whenever a table open. The band started playing around midnight and they opened up with a jazz number with great energy. We were lucky and two sits opened up right in front of the band. I assume that If you get there early you can sit around the band which is a great feeling as you have them feet from you. We had two beers, two cocktails and fried pork. The cocktails were ok(what you would expect) and the dish we had was flavorful. Our bill was around 1,200bath ( 10% Service Fee is included) so I would say this place is for all budgets. A beer is around $130 , so you can still have a fun time And some beers. The band was great, full of energy, and entertaining towards the end of the set. (Enjoy the video I uploaded) Also, there are tables outside (good place for smokers) where I assumed one can have a drink and through the glass window can still enjoy the band.

Great experience and vibe with engaging live jazz band, love it. Food has good variety of options, service is very good and attentive. The bathroom is clean with cleaning after use. Highly recommend for this bar, best réserve because after 9:00pm becomes packed.

Awesome place for enjoying live music. Foods are also great. We spent around 2 and a half hours there from 9 PM. Enjoyed a great time. There are 3 shows that starts from 7:30 PM, 9 PM and 12 AM. The timetable with performing bands is available at their website. Most of the people were enjoying the music and some drinks but we also had our dinner there. Foods a bit expensive. Once again, great music.

A great evening listening to the 10 musicians of the Swing Kings. Service was attentive. Great range of cocktails - prices on high side but you are getting good entertainment included.

Dinner was great and the music was even better. It's worth coming early for the acoustic guitar opener. We came a little early to get food before the music got going so had great seats for the show. It was packed by the second bands first break on a week night. The decor is also very cool, don't miss the balcony either for great views. Was a great night out in bangkok, can't wait to go back next time I'm in town.

Great venue for live music. On weekends it’s highly recommended to get there early or make a reservation, it fills up fast. The space is fault big so it’s good for medium to large groups. Service was great, it was never a problem to flag down a server and order food or drinks.

Very satisfied with good jazz music. When I visited, big band accompanied old and new songs with vocals singing. At first, I was guided behind band alone. As soon as vacancy happened, bartender guided there. I felt it's so kind. One of the happiest moments in Thailand journey. Cost was not so much expensive. Singha was 130 baht, sweet iced coffee was 120 baht in my memory. Have a good musical experience here!

Great place to hangout with friends or a date! Music is good! We couldn’t find an available table but we find a way to have a drink at bar table and we really enjoyed the place. Table booking not possible just walk in, highly recommended to get here around 17.00-18.00 and wait for the music band performance!

We had such a good time here, I didn’t expect anything but i was so surprised about everything. Food was sooo good, local taste, spicy and yummy. Jazz life performance was incredible amazing besides people here were so friendly and nice. Will come back again soon

It was great to catch up with life music and friends from the former Soi Dogs blues band (now Stoned Duck). Saxophone: one of the oldest established life music bars. Very attentive staff, pleasant hospitality.

Great beverages and snacks! The table we sat at was very chill and relaxing, Although it was a bit too dark, we could still see the music bands downstairs from the balcony. Unfortunately, there was no saxophone band on Saturday night. We recommend you check the performance timetable on their website first and arrive there before 19:00 hours to secure a good table.

Must visit when you come to BKK and looking for a Jazz night with good price cocktails. They have live music every night, highly recommended to come in weekday when there is not so busy like weekends

This bar looked small from the outside, but as soon as I entered, I could hear good live music and saw 2 floors, which were almost full of people. The saxophone pub gets a lot of crowd because the bands that play here are really good! The prices are reasonable too. Will definitely visit again.

Walking by noticing people taking pictures of the entrance. Figured must be something. Walked in and it’s a jazz club. They sit me right up front and it was busy. Nice. Ordered, kicked back and enjoyed the show. Really good time

We have been here twice. They have good live Jazz music every night. They have variety of cocktails and drinks. The wine is only by bottle. The food variety is good and it's delicious. Their local draft beer is served in this saxephone shaped mug which I was not a fan ! There are two floors with many seats but It can get very busy around 7-8 pm even during the week days so make sure you either go early or make a reservation for the first floor and if you want to see the performance ask for the table near the stage. The second floor is pretty dark and you don't get to see the show if your table is in the middle.

Best live Jazz Bar in Bangkok, also one of the longest running Jazz Bar in Thailand. Plenty of surprises each day, with top musical talent in Thailand's music industry performing in this incredibly cozy and lively bar. A must for bar-music lovers!

Been coming to Bangkok regularly since 1996 and this has remained my favorite and the coolest bar I've ever been to. Never over the top, great staff, jumping live music and a killer atmosphere. If you're ever in the land of smiles you need to come here.

This is super hard because the diet time I went here I loved it!! Second time I brought a expat group of people, no recollection I even called him on the Wednesday before November 26. No problem. Even after proving that I booked and reserved Nov he 9, they gave my spot to someone who booked a week before Nov 26!! We don’t have your reservations, who did you speak too? Can I see proof? Yet still we need to give you the spot nearest to the men’s toilet. Apparently they had no copy of my reservation and regardless they wouldn’t move reservations for.. so that is how the evening started … we all loved 🥰 the place and will go back but the service was rude this time unlike last time! We were a big group and had they paid attended to the fact I was being around 20-25 people they would have been staffed accordingly! The food was also very mediocre and one of my friends didn’t even eat the food it was that horrible!! Mine was ok! As I had the fried snapper!! We closed the bar down and headed to Khao San road!’ Music is great, service was as good as it gets and the food isn’t good

Went here on a Friday night and it was packed!! Good music though (more of an upbeat reggae on a Friday) but I promise you the band knows how to play! It was a fun night to enjoy the music to dance along! Band: Drum(s), trumpet, saxophone, 2 guitars, keyboard. I arrived at 8am and there was no place to sit as every table is reserved. The band started to play at 10.30 and stopped at about 11.30. Would love to come back and watch the jazz/blues band.

The BAD thing is the bar have 90% foreign customers but ALL OF STAFF CAN NOT SPEAK ENGLISH, even the manager of the bar only can speak english about 30%, please train them more about english since the bar is always have foreign customers. Good things are the place has a very nice design, good band, good music, good foods, good drinks. The band start to play at 9pm, from 7:30pm they have one guitar playing acoustic.

The number of bars around Victory Monument are limited but the Saxophone is one of the best. If you like blues or jazz this is the place to come. They have an acoustic set first then 2 live bands. The Thai food was very good but the Western food was disappointing.

Enjoyed the Saturday night at this bar, they have a great old-school ambience with lighting in the combination of red/orange/black mode and its smell like an antique prop actually. There are 2 floors, I sat on the 2nd where I can't see the band playing at the center unless you get the terrace area. Food and drink are really the same as other bars in Bangkok; lager, liquor, and cocktail. Don't expect anything cheap here, you know it! Getting to this is quite easy even walk (around 2.5 km from Siam if you want to 😅) , but I highly recommend taxi which is only THB 40-60 from downtown Siam.
