The owner of the business, Jekky, operated a homestay in the past, but has now pared back her offering to focus on shopping for Thai food ingredients and preparing classic Thai dishes. I especially like the shopping part because I love markets, but the whole experience is just the best. And the people you'll meet are friendly, adventurous, and will become longtime friends.

Unforgettable, authentic, relaxed, fun, and oh so memorable! I had the most fun with Jekky and her crew! The market tour, the cooking class, the Saturday open house, and the muy thai matches were the highlight of my time in Bangkok. Highly recommended!

Perfect tour around Bangkok and in Ampawa market. Jekky has been able to adapt her service to our needs without any need to ask her. Perfect with kids ( We have a 5 years old). She has colourful friends and contacts to Spice the journey. Food, food food is her thing and she will share it with you.

One of the best experiences from my pass through Thailand! It was very nice to get the chance of going to a local market, choose fresh products and then participate in the cooking process. Booked a private day tour of Maeklong railway market and Damnoen Saduak floating market for me and my parents. The customer service before the trip was responsive and prompt. The tour guide Meaw was amazing! She was friendly and engaging and made us comfortable right from the start. She shared interesting stories and the history of the places we visited and answered our questions patiently. Meaw also recommended us a great local seafood place for lunch. My parents loved her and asked me to engage her service again the next time we visit Thailand. For me personally, the sweetest thing about Meaw was her kindness - I was nervous during the paddle boat ride at the floating market and she held my hand till I was confident to let go! Jekky's Homestay is the best way to get the most out of your trip to Bangkok. Her Thai cooking classes are fun and educative at the same time. We didn't sleep at the Homestay, but the people we met were super excited about it! Would definately come back!
