Food is good. View is great. Perfect spot for sunset dinner. Got impression of this place since the first time. The lively fish market for merit by the entrance is really cheerful. Staff is friendly. Food is delicious. Spicy salad prawns with Chinese Kale stems and Spicy Salad With Glass Noodles and prawns, both dishes are dilicious. Fried Rice with salted fish is also good. I love it's textured, it is just right smell great. To make sure we will get the seat, booking in advance is required. Parking is at the temple. Please make spare time for finding parking spot, sometimes it is full.

Food is good. Good sunset and night bright view. But the memu is mentionedthat credit card can only use when bill equal or above 800bht is confusing/misleading. Although it is by Chao Phraya Rivet and near Phra Khanong canel, but both boats service will closed after evening. If you do not go there by car. Beware boat service time. Otherwise you could take bus or taxi to leave. It might take a long time waiting for a bus.

Food just ok, service a bit clumsy. Good vibes by the river but no need to come back in a hurry. There steamed fish dish was really authentic and tasty ✌️

Family friendly ambiance with Thai style foods and decorations along Chaopraya river. Enjoy a nice view of a bridge while having Local tasty Thai dishes. I have tried 2 kinds of curries and they are perfectly cooked and not too spicy and going very well with hot jasmine rices. Highly recommended. Should call to book in advance since tables are quite limited. Parking is in the temple nearby with 40 THB parking fee.

Steve Cafe and Cuisine is located behind Wat Devaraj Kunchon on the river. You have to take a wooden walkway between some houses while bending over because of low headroom, but once there it's in a very pleasant setting. The breeze from the river was very relaxing. The food was pretty good, our group agreed that the masaman curry, Fried Liang Leaves with Egg, and Fried Crispy Catfish with String Bean we're very delicious while the Phad Thai and raw shrimp were Ok. We ordered a second helping of the Fried Crispy Catfish for our dessert, so good!

One of the hidden gem in Bangkok because Grab drivers ask what am I doing here at night since the compound is is inside a big temple. Food is awesome, view is superb, price is reasonable. Totally will go back again, for sure.

Good Thai food, nothing too serious or fancy. Great riverside location with a breeze. Easiest and most fun way to get there is by river boat but before you go, make sure the proper boat is running! You need the one to Dhevet and only one goes there. We didn’t (oops) and it made our trip a bit more complicated with a taxi ride after we got off the boat. The service isn’t charming but it’s fine. Nothing extraordinary here but decent, casual Thai food on the river.

Always a great place to take visitors, small cosy restaurant tucked away behind the quiet temple compounds, with a beautiful sunset view of Chao Phraya river. Food is good and price is fair. We liked the laab wrapped in banana leaf, the green curry and roti, and fried fish. Service is friendly and fast.

We ordered the pork with stinky beans and pickled garlic and the seafood curry - both delicious. We also ordered the lemon juice soda which was also very nice. However, portions were small for the price. Give the customer more than they expected, as a marketing ploy, and it will return dividends. Service was great. I appreciate that we had to wait for the food to be cooked. They don’t take Visa. Everything about the seating area was clean and fresh. The view was great. I enjoyed watching the religious rites of feeding the pigeons and releasing fish into the river from the temple dock.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Steve, and it was truly a delightful experience. From the moment I walked in, I was captivated by the scenic beauty of the river. The ambiance was perfect for a relaxed evening. Every dish we ordered was a masterpiece. The flavors were exquisite. As a vegetarian, I was pleased to see a diverse selection of vegetarian options on the menu. The service was impeccable. The staff was attentive and accommodating, making sure our dining experience was exceptional. They offered great recommendations and ensured that our needs were met promptly. I would highly recommend booking a table in advance, especially if you want to enjoy the riverside seating. The view of the river added an extra layer of enchantment to the evening.

Steve Cafe is a great place to bring both locals and foreigners alike. Located at the edge of the river, I had to climb aboard steps on the edge of the river to get into the restaurant - what an experience! Great idea of southern Thai food, every dish in the restaurant was done on point. I especially enjoyed the green curry and the crumbed fish. A special shout out to great representation of Thai deserts, mango sticky rice, Logan with sticky rice, and sago as well. Make a reservation before the sun sets and if you are lucky on a sunny day, You will have an amazing view of the sunset while you consume your dinner. Do remember to allocate some time to locate the place, it’s not that easy to find. Otherwise, a grab bike takes your right to their main entrance. P.S. Plus points if your are an Alumni of OSC, apparently.

My friends and I were there for local drinks and appreciated nice ambiance before sunset nearby the river. I checked information over the phone and no reservation is needed for drinks we can walk-in. Hence, when we were there, most of the table with the river view were all reserved. Personally, I would expect to only have a table for drinks and for a short time, I saw the reserved time that it still far. It would be great if the staff could consider to organise kind of negotiate with clients if they could just have a drink and leave before the reserved time, so they can also appreciate the restaurant's nice riverview and they also gain from this. So, when we cheked out, the reserved table were still empty. Well, their choice, but my personal opinion...Just take it or leave it (:

The restaurant is by the Riverside, but we had to park the car at a Thai temple which is so so so so beautiful!! There’s no air con but luckily the weather is good. Food is really delicious. Love it

Great service and atmosphere by the River but food was very average for the hype

The entrance is quite complicated to find. The food is good but with little expensive prices. To come here you may have to book in advance especially during on weekends. We almost didn’t get the seats because of walking-in.

I only had snacks and beer (soft shell crabs), but place is worth visiting - siting at the terrace above the river with huge fish swiming next to you. It's close to the temples so you can take a break and enjoy the view.

Lovely place to dine. The staff were friendly, helpful, and attentive at all times. Booked it for my wife’s birthday celebration. I casually mentioned it when we arrived and without expecting much, they surprised us with their watermelon dessert item as a cake with candles and all. Thank you Steve for your generosity. This is definitely also one of the best place to dine as you watch the setting sun. Do take note. As it’s located literally by the river, wet seasons and high tide hours will be a factor as you try to get in and out of the restaurant. We arrived at about 6pm and the tide was slowly rising. By the time we left, we had to remove our footwear as we walk on planks submerged in water at about ankle height.

The restaurant is a bit small not having so many tables however the atmosphere is relaxing with vintage house decorated style. The entrace is like walking through a small tunnel with parking area at the temple. In terms of food, every dish was prepared and cooked nicely. It has got a real taste of Thai authentic food. I would definitely come back !

The food here was awesome and so was the environment. Tucked in a little narrow alley which lead you to this cosy restaurant. They served some of the traditional Thai food that may not be commonly found at the regular Thai restaurant. Sitting right by Chao Phraya River and having lunch here was quite an unique experience. And just next door, you could seeing people setting the livestock free into the river and people feeding the catfish were really quite a sight!

The restaurant is by Chao Praya River. The entrance is through Devaraj Kunchorn Temple. You can park the car inside the temple. The parking fee is 40 baht. The restaurant has a nice ambience of traditional Thai house. It is a good place for family and friend get-together. The food is tasty. The price is a bit pricey, but reasonable for the service and view that you get. I like Kaeng Rawang (แกงระแวง) with chicken (there is an option with beef, too).
