I went for a short course yesterday with a friend. The food was fabulous, great atmosphere, and super nice wine. However, there's one thing that I think is very unfair of the restaurant to it's customers. We were offered some add-ons like champagne to drink with the starter plate and tea with dessert without noticing that they are additional costs to the course, nor presenting the price on the spot. So we ended up paying double that we expected. It's the first time I experience fine dining, so I honestly don't know if this is normal. But it's such an unethical way to make customers pay more without them knowing the full price in advance.

The presentation of the food was perhaps the highlight of our dinner here. The actual taste was nothing to write home about. Be expected to pay a hefty price tag with mediocre food and service. Firstly, there was an insect on one of our dishes and the process of remaking it took a long time. We were however abruptly rushed before even having finished our last dessert as apparently the next table has arrived. I’ve dined at over 200 Michelin starred restaurants across the globe and never have I been forced to leave my table in such a manner. The restaurant should either do what most decent high end restaurants do: letting the diners have their table for the whole dinner, or for the bare minimum at least make sure to time their dishes and leave some buffer time. Moreover, no apology was made regarding the insect found on our food, it was brushed off as if nothing happened. Had high expectations but left very disappointed.

Great experience and food. Never had German fine dining before but it was good definitely worth a try. Service was excellent by staff. Price was probably on the higher side for what it is, there are some cheaper fine dining options out there for similar quality, but I would say it was worth the money. Best wagyu steak I've had on Bangkok, not just quality but the preparation of it was fantastic, duck was equally excellent.

Our reservation was for 845pm and the whole party of 2 arrived by 9pm. We were only seated at 930pm I believe but the staff kindly served us champagne while we waited. Food is superb and staff is knowledgeable about the dishes. Unfortunately, they had thick Thai accents which made it difficult for us to understand them so the menu came in handy! I hadn't seen my friend for years and we were catching up over dinner. The dishes came very quickly one after another for the full menu - my take is that this could have been better timed based on the customers' pace. We were also seated late so it wasn't really our fault that our dinner wasn't over faster. Other than that, a pleasant experience and I can see why they have 2 Michelin stars! The beef was just lovely - a must-have. And the bread (omg) was to-die-for so we asked for seconds.

Always good! Got the 5-course this time and was just the right amount with all the amuse buche and pastries. The small bites were delicious and other dishes were perfectly cooked. Wine pairing was great for some courses, especially the duck liver terrine was great. Curry36 is still a must! Service was up to standard, very friendly staff. Will definitely visit again.

Last night Birthday dinner at Sühring, a 2 Michelin Stars restaurant. This is by far the best Michelin Star Restaurants I’ve had in Bangkok. The Lamb is highly recommended (it’s the best lamb I’ve ever had). I would definitely come back to revisit.

Consider going during lunch as the restaurant and compound is beautiful in the sunlight. At lunch they offer both menus but I recommend going for the full menu. It was an interesting take on German cuisine, done in a thoughtful yet scrumptious manner with precise, beautiful presentation. Staff were exceedingly warm and welcoming, making sure every experience we had at Suühring was perfect. Sadly, the twin chefs were away for an event but the kitchen team made sure we were well fed.

Experience some of the most layered and interesting flavors here! Service is excellent. Our server was very knowledgeable and explained every course to great detail. Every detail was well-thought-out as soon as we walked through the door. Had a very pleasant experience!

We had a great dinner experience at Sühring in Bangkok. We had a reservation right at 5:30 and were seated right away. The beginning was a bit more overwhelming compared to other fine dining restaurant I've been too because they were many choices to be made and the waiter waited at the table for us to decide. I would have preferred him to explain the different options and add-ons, and walk away so we could discuss and then come back. Other than that, no complaints at all and we had a wonderful meal. Everything tasted delicious.

It was sublime. The service is impeccable and each dish is just a piece of art that is carefully created. We choose a short journey, but it was really delicious every step of the way. Too bad alcohol ban is still in effect otherwise it would have been perfect.

What a culinary experience! Each dish was a surprising mix or flavors and textures. I had the lunch fixed menu. I was offered a total of 10 dishes. My absolute favorite was the duck - perfectly cooked with a spectacular crunch and a pink juicy center. The bread was great, they make their own sourteig. Over all, I highly recommend this experience. The restaurant itself is beautiful, set in a home surrounded by gardens. Service was top notch and extremely attentive. Prices are very high, as with any Michelin star restaurant. Fancier attire is recommended.

Fine dining experience in a cosy atmosphere. The staff were professional but still managed to make our group felt relaxed and comfortable until the end of the courses. Not so impressed with the seafood dishes but for the overall, it's a wonderful experience.

A great meal at this 2 stars Michelin restaurant. We got the kitchen table and I love it, I feel that the vibe in this room is more relaxed and is very private. My favorite dishes are the appetizer, the brill, and the duck. All the dishes came out like an artwork by itself, very meticulously executed. The wine paring was also excellent. Overall I am very happy to dine here at Suhring.

I've had the pleasure of trying out Michelin starred restaurants in different countries. Sühring is the first one I got to try in Thailand and am I glad that I did. The service is unsurprisingly top notch given the price point and the ambiance is clean, sharp, and well thought out. It is the food that is the star however, with tons of thought clearly going into the presentation, flavor profiles, and textures. I think the pictures will do a better job than any description here would do so please take a look. I will make it a point to stop by whenever I am in the neighborhood (and I can get a reservation :)) My sincerest compliments and gratitude once again for the chef and the staff who helped us.

Well deserving of their 2 Michelin Stars. As a large group we had a private room for a table of 10, and Por, our server was amazing. He went above and beyond and even curated our playlist for the night with the wide range of vinyl records available. Food was on point and the word we would use to describe our experience is “delightful”. From start to finish we were excited for every course that was served. Initially we weren’t sure about trying German cuisine in Thailand but now we are all converts! Will be recommending this restaurant to all our friends from now.

One of the best Michelin-starred dining experiences I have had to-date. Sühring is an incredible concept overall. That said, I have given 4 stars due to a couple of points mentioned below. Our group visited for Lunch, all opting for the full menu but decided not to take the wine pairing. The service was warm, welcoming and friendly throughout. The staff were definitely attentive and made the experience fun. Food was exceptional considering flavours, presentation, taste and quality. Unfortunately the twin chefs were away when we visited and there was very little, or basically next to no interaction with the chefs or kitchen apart from a quick tour which was a bit of a shame when compared to some other concepts and restaurants which made this year's Asia best list. I also did not feel much innovation with some elements of the German dishes and certain ingredients presented. This plus the lack of Sommelier suggestions and input for wines was a little disappointing. We loved the Vinegar drink, Fish courses and Beef. Overall the balanced pace of service was smooth and mostly well-polished. The atmosphere (seperate small dining room) light and ambience was beautiful. Btes and snacks in between dishes were very good. These meant that it felt like a lot of food was served and sampled overall. All-in-all, the story of this unique concept shines through and Sühring is definitely a must-visit.

Whenever you make a reservation at Sühring, they invite you to an experience at their “home.” And that’s what the entire experience feels like. You are graciously welcomed into a culinary experience that is world class from start to finish, but in no way feels stuffy or unapproachable. The space is immaculately designed with no detail left out. All of the staff are gracious and humble, and the food is sensational. I would like to add that Sinbad, one of our waiters, was incredibly knowledgeable, personable, and a joy to be served by. Every course was thoughtful, the meal seamless, and above all delicious. A special touch, was at the end of dinner, a handwritten note from the chefs congratulating my husband and I on our honeymoon and marriage was incredibly special. I could not recommend more this incredible experience to anyone visiting Bangkok, and I look forward to returning again.

This restaurant exceeded my expectations. The experience was too good that I forgot to take more photos. The dishes are elaborated but also hidden German’s root. They also have nice wine pairing menu recommended by their French’s sommelier. The services was also very well, all the waiters and waitresses were really attentive and hospitable. Overall, it’s unforgettable dinner we had in Bangkok.

For a 2-star michelin, more interaction with the chefs would have been nice. Service was attentive, but no sincerity can be felt from the managers and sommelier. The group beside our table was extremely loud and was using flash photography . For a 2-star michelin, ambiance was ruined and rules could have been set.All guests should be reminded to be respectful. We asked to be transferred, and was transferred after 15mins. Though no apologies from the chefs and managers.

The most delicacy and dainty dish I have eaten in 2022 was at sühring. The handwritten eggnog recipe is retro. Juice paring also honeyed and marvellous. Especially thanks to my unpretentious husband🙃, if it wasn’t because of him who went out wearing Crocs and shorts pants,I would be able to sit in the glass room and enjoying my beautiful dinner.

My first time at a 2-Michelin star-restaurant. Highly impressed by the presentation of the food and the quality of the products used. Most bites were excellent, there's only one, or two items that I personally do not fancy the texture, or the taste, but overall amazingly done. Service was also exceptional, amiable and professional. We didn't order from the menu as the course was enough to satisfy us. Would consider coming back when they introduce the new menu.

I’ve had the chance to meet the chefs during their collaboration at Tresind Studio in Dubai. After visiting their restaurant here in Bangkok, I’ve got proven of their consistent quality regarding taste, presentation, and quality of ingredients. I’ve sat at the kitchen counter and watched them prepare every dish. Their team is doing a great job in a professional and seemingly organized way. The staff is very nice and helpful. They explanations are great, but feel rushed from time to time which makes it harder to understand. As for the dishes themselves: I’ve enjoyed all of them. Some small things have been unbalanced like the Cashewmilk-Dashi sauce as the cashew was overpowering mostly all of the other flavor components. Other than those small nuances, I can highly recommend paying them a visit.

What an amazing dining experience in bangkok. This is one of my new favorite restaurants in the world. Every dish was visually pleasing to the eye, complex flavor, and meticulous in its detail. Love the currywurst from curry 36 as well. Will definitely go back on my next trip to bangkok.

The precision of the taste and execution matched with the not too stiff but elegant ambiance made it an excellent experience. The crisp linen made it special. The use of the different nooks and crannies of the place made it feel cozy without one knowing the place was full. I had a subtle rewarding gastronomic experience. thank you.

This is our 3rd michelin experience in Bangkok after Nahm and Gaggan. What more can I say, when a restaurant is awarded with 2 michelin stars, they certainly have worked hard for it and deserve it. All dishes were excellent including the wine match. Service was very good. The venue is extremely beautiful. Just my personal opinion, to me what separates a 2 michelin from a 3 michelin restaurant is that ‘wow’ factor of burstful flavours of every single dishes presented to you. To me the Lobster & Mussels and Scallop & Krystal Caviar did not give me the ‘wow’ factor on first bite. That is however, my personal opinion. Regardless, what an amazing restaurant!

European style food for European price. We did a 7 glasses wine testing. The highlight was the little vinegar drink. I enjoyed little detail like the storytelling in the chefs’ grandma recipe book. The staffs were well trained and explained the dishes really well. Well worth 2 Michelin star.

Atmosphere -3/5 nice high end setting Service -2/5 very disappointed from the service . Staff seem very robotic. You expect much more professional services in high end restaurant. Food -2/5 me and my sister were there for her B day. We just don't like the food . I do not understand. There are definitely very skillful and techniques involved making the food. But I don't get the flavour . We ordered wine pairing but not impressed at all. Price - 1/5 extremely high we paid around 400usd each. It is not about the price when you are in high end restaurant. I just do not feel worth the price at all. 😔 sorry over all very disappointing evening

Amazing dining experience at Sühring, from the welcoming team to the service team and the kitchen staff everyone is incredibly polished and committed to delivering an memorable evening. Take the 8 course menu and you won't regret anything.

Definitely, here is top 3 fine dining in bkk, they provide high-quality food and ingredients, delicate texture, and mind-blowing tastes. I would suggest it's a restaurant that you must visit and enjoy. However, the desserts weren't reached my expectations for me, I would suggest offering apple strudel or souffle, maybe it's just me who doesn't like the desserts, but overall, it was a wonderful experience and meal.

  • 5/5 Thomas M. 2 years ago on Google
We had a great lunch experience. The kitchen is fantastic, sophisticated service team - all in a clean and stylish atmosphere. Best restaurant in BKK is a German? Maybe 👌 Next star is waiting 🔥

Great, overall experience is very good, best as its standard for Michelin’s stars. Food tasted great, everything was freshly made and served by that time, decoration was great, overall vibes is good. Every dishes was explained by guys over there. We sat at the bar, which i think It’s better than the table. Menu is changed overtime. Price : quite expensive, It’s gonna be special occasion, not just a simple dinner.

The classy fine dining resraurant in soi Yen-agart 3 in which the reservation is required prior to visit. The course provided in 2 rates; 3000+ and 5000+ baht. The experience in every bite is unexplainable - surprised, excited, delighted, worthy, fulfill, or anything you can imagine.

Met and exceeded my expectations. Simbad on the table and Antoine running the wine made a superb pair along with their team members. What’s not to love?
