As a Thai, I would say this place offers Thai food that is authentically Thai but with a modern twist. Portion is slightly smaller than a typical Thai restaurant so you can taste different dishes. My favorite is pork ribs curry in southern style and grilled pork which comes with delicious dipping sauce. Expect to pay the same range as Thai restaurants in shopping malls but they have better cocktail. Oh and don't forget to try their coconut ice cream - one of the best in town!

This is really authentic Thai food. Even I am Thai, I’ve never tried some dish. The mocktale is so so good ver refreshing.

As the name of the place suggests, the food is rustic with an urban edge to it. Love every dish we ordered especially the yum Kai Dao, fried vegetables with fermented shrimp paste. The portion is slightly on the smaller side which allows you to try more dishes. Didn’t manage to try the signature fried chicken skin (movie chicken) as it was sold out even though was pre booked in advance. Restuarant gave the fried calamari complimentary in replacement for that. Overall a good meal and will Definitely return for the movie chicken. Service can be improved with only 2 staff now.. looking forward to an even better experience..

The food is good, the passion fruit cocktail is good - nothing is special though and you are paying special prices. Poor value in my mind, but it is very nice and good service. Nice for a gathering just not good value. 1,830 THB for 4 sharing plates (enough for 2 people) rice and 2 drinks.

10/10 for Thai food here is amazing! Everything was so great with a fantastic service but for the portions I think for bigger group it has to be more but overall is good!

Well we popped in to have lunch here and a catch up business meeting!! The girl that came to serve us was quite cute, and she was very enthusiastic about certain dishes. So we ended up ordering the chicken skin, the green mango salad 🥗 , The beef 🥩 kapow with egg 🥚, Then this egg salad, which she highly recommended and two orders of the rice balls with mackerel in it. Let’s start with a green mango salad. It was very good but the portion was like very small. I was quite disappointed with the portion because in the pictures it looks quite On the menu. I ordered these rice balls deep-fried with macro in it. I thought it let me try something different and wow I was absolutely blown away my favourite of the lunch. We ended up ordering another order of the same! The beef kapow I didn’t try, but my friend said it was very good, Usually it comes with rice, but there was no rice along with this, so we didn’t order the rice. 🍚 Presentation wise the chicken skin was very nice very nicely done with the dip but again it’s chicken skin and well. It was presented well what to say. The egg salad that came was too deep-fried eggs in this amazing sort of sauce, but not saucy. I had one egg and the egg was so oily. I could literally couldn’t eat it. I do like my eggs crispy, but it was almost to the point where it was so oily that I was using a napkin to press out all of the oil from the egg white. The flavour for sure was very good but again it was so oily. My friend could only eat half of the egg on that salad. It was swimming in oil. I would highly recommend this place just remember the portions are small and the prices seem good until you get the portions! This place is Chef by two Michelin star chefs, so perhaps that’s maybe the reason is that it’s supposed to be more art than food? Great service, great atmosphere and great flavor. Really enjoyed our visit to Err today. Everything was on point. Loved the thought put in each dish and the ethos behind the space. Thanks for a great journey through a variety of Thai food.

Rustic Thai food with a modern twist. Wide variety menu, grouped by the way the dish is cooked or made (fermented, grilled, fried, etc). Really like their take on rustic food which are generally not found in places like this.

If you have watched Somebody Feed Phil, this restaurant was featured in the Bangkok episode. Unpretentious and still respecting the Thai ingredients.

Worse taste of simple Thai dish I've ever had in my life. The lady selling on the street taste way better. They can't even make a simple long bean salad (ตำถั่ว) or stir fry water spinach (ผัดผักบุ้ง) Maybe they changed the chef or change for foreigners taste🤷🏻‍♀️ So disappointed I would suggest people who want a decent thai food go somewhere else. It not worth the price and Ignore those Netflix, อร่อยเลิศ

I wanted to take my family out for dinner and we were really excited to try the chicken movie. Which was delicious, how can you mess up fried chicken skin? Anyways, the food was a bit hyped and very overpriced. The service was extremely slow. My dad waited almost 2hrs for khao pad kaprow. By the third time we asked for it, the waitress told us it was a long wait because the chef kept burning the sunny side up egg…seems like an amateur mistake for such a highly praised restaurant. We were also told that we ordered the last two orders of chicken satay but then saw some orders walk pass our table. I did hear from a friend that their original location had better food but honestly I would not come back for the over price food and especially customer service. would not recommend.

A fabulous lunch, every dish we had was well prepared and had a lovely balance of flavor. The passion fruit cocktail to top it off was excellent. The service is kind and they make you feel welcome. A strong recommendation from me.

We had heard about Err after watching a documentary on chef Bo's Michelin star restaurant so we were keen to see what the more casual offering was like. The atmosphere and decor is relaxed and informal with some nice design touches. More importantly the food is very good and the portions aren't as small as other people make out, considering Thai food portions are generally smaller anyway. We ordered the stir fry mince beef with holy basil, braised mince pork with eggplant and steamed egg custard, morning glory with dried shrimp and chicken satay. Flavour-wise it was all very impressive and hit all of the classic Thai flavour notes. Service was great and personable. Certainly recommended

Started with their signature cocktail “The Err”. High acidity of the passion fruits really improved appetite. Dishes served in tasting portion for two or three persons. If you are not a big eater, five dishes for two persons are adequate. Food is fine and well deserved four stars.

Best green curry ever. Loved the chicken green cherry and the egg custard with pork and eggplant. Portions on the smaller side but the taste was outstanding.

The hotel concierge recommended this restaurant across the street. I was relieved to meet super friendly staff when i went for an early dinner. I loaded on chicken satay and grilled pork for proteins, and a vegetable dish that dinner. They are all yummy. Two days later i went back for their set lunch but couldn’t resist the grilled pork again. Then i realised they used organic food sources! While you are waiting for the food, the staff will serve you popcorns! Homely vibes. Don’t forget to include the coconut ice cream after your meal. Loving it

First time at their new location. Seems a bit less popular than previously and the space looks smaller. Food is still good though, and portions are just right for solo diners.

The food is just simple amazing, very tasty. I tried The Err cocktail, it’s an odd mix of passion fruit and chili but the taste is very rich and a little spicy on the tip of your tongue when you taste it, I love it. Restaurant staffs are very friendly and helpful. If you visit Err Urban Rustic Thai, I recommend you visit Bo.lan too.

We came here for lunch even though initially we planned to come for dinner. At the time the restaurant was empty to my surprise because the food and drinks were excellent! Quality food, beautiful decor and ambience and friendly service. The prices are high yes, but reasonable and worth it! Highly recommend for a date night or place to impress your friends or parents! Thank you, will be back for sure :)

Everyone visiting Bangkok should come here! I had the chicken satay with brioche and lemongrass water - both were really delicious!! The staff was very kind: they gave me a complimentary scoop of the tastiest coconut ice cream ever!! The place has a really nice atmosphere with cool music. Don't miss this place, really!!

Nice dinner place.. something different from the normal Thai food... it’s fusion... we went on a Friday evening at 6pm. It’s not crowded with still ample tables available. Price on the high side.

Food are quite delicious. Same taste as before they moved. Still love the fried morning glory dish. I used to be a big fan while its located at Thatien. The mood here is quite different. Way more mysterious by those lighting and the Thainess from basketwork. However it's seem to be sentive for the dust allergy person like me. Small car parking available in front.

Excellent food and drinks. Also they have air conditioning to cool off on a hot afternoon. The staff speaks English and is very willing to help. In Thai standards this place is expensive but the food is amazing and the drinks are well developed and tasty. Strongly recommend for a drink, snack or full meal.

Have ever been to the old place several times and today I went to the current one. The food still fantastic, even the place feels not the same, but the decoration can make it close. If you want Thai food, an interesting presentation with a good price, please visit.
