An amazing experience, hard to describe. The food was incredible, the place like a world in its own. So many details and so much love. Bo was not only a kind and welcoming host, but also shared some of her stories and experiences with the dishes served that night. A truly unforgettable night. You will not regret the money you spent! If I have one advice, bring huge appetite. Portions are not small. We are very good eaters but could not finish it all. There is no written vegetarian menu, but there were vegetarian options for every dish and they were all great. 100% of the ingredients are organic. You can literally taste the quality of the ingredients, even simple things like rice or sugar taste amazing. Really, an exceptional place. We feel so lucky we got a spot during our stay in Bangkok and hope to come again, one day.

Had lunch here some weeks ago. After 2 days of lavish lunches and dinners, this meal stood out for its authentic Thai flavors- it was properly spicy (they didn’t ask if we could deal with spice, they just serve it up like it’s meant to be. I loved the spice), sweet, sour, aromatic... all the things I personally enjoy about Thai food. The sticky rice served as an “appetizer” in the kitchen was a nice way to start the meal. I’m not a fan of sweets but the desserts were also quite yummy - the coconut candy in particular is not to be missed.

Great experience night at Bo.lan. All dishes taste is special, ingredients picked are particularly. Some comments which I may expect too much with Bo.lan that it can be better. Yellow crispy on starter dish is not fully crispy and too thick, feel like it made for too long, I hope it didn’t make from yesterday cooking. Sai-Ow taste is special but it was so cold, feel like made it, kept in freeze and warm it up as same as coconut Saku and prawn salad on ChaPlu leaf. Feel not fresh make. We pay for a neat and fresh preparation for this kind of special place. Again, all dishes taste are lovely and unique but it could be better to make it more special before serving.

Bo.lan is simply one of my favorite restaurants in the world. The experience from the kitchen to the post-meal lounge is incredible. This restaurant will be on my itinerary any time I visit Thailand.

Each to their own. I personally had a great time. I was a party of 1 and thoroughly enjoyed myself. The ambience was clean and classic, the staff were lovely and friendly and made sure all my food was gluten free. I thought the food was delicious and I tasted a variety of new flavours from Thai cooking. It is expensive (total cost £110 for 1) but it is an experience and I don’t exactly do this everyday. I thought the drinks were unnecessarily expensive, at 250bht/ approx £8 a coconut juice and similar for a tea. And 120bht for water... they could have provided that complimentary. I was also sure when I booked that the lunch the menu said £50which was fine and when I arrived it was more like £80... I mean I know they change the menu but I wasn’t aware the price would also change. My only negative was it was too much food for 1 person, I hate to waste such nice food so I probably left 5kgs heavier! The rice wine that you begin with would have been nicer to finish at the end of the meal as a digestive.

Bo.lan took us on a culinary journey unlike any other I've had the chance to experience. A true exploration of the diversity and range of Thai cuisine. The amuse bouche highlighted their use of seasonal ingredients in a succinct, sophisticated way which drew on both punchy and subtle flavours in a delicate portion. The courses were separated by interesting palate cleansers that also drew on local flavours. The main plates delivered an unsuspecting punch of spiciness which dragged us into the experience without mercy, my ears were ringing and I experienced my first chilli "high". Finally, the desserts were playful and light, the perfect finisher to a degustation that played on all the senses.

Finally got to visit Bo.lan that we had been wanting to try for a while, but we were a little disappointed. The environment was nice, the service was great, but the food wasn’t really impressed, we weren’t very satisfied, maybe the expectations were just too high. The price seemed a bit steep compared to the overall dining experience.

Fine Thai cuisine with local ingredients with a sustainable concept. Chef Bo and Chef Dylan always deliver delicious food, no doubts. Starting with small bites, enjoying various tastes. Many dishes have a spicy taste that boosts your appetite. The main course is a set of thai soup, curry, stir fried dish which is eaten with rice. End the course with traditional thai dessert. With limited seats and rounds in 2022, I hope the restaurant will be fully open in the upcoming year.

Superb and charming service, beautiful dining room and garden, excellent Thai food carefully prepared with focus on organic ingredients. Good wine list, and although choice of wines by the glass is somewhat limited, we tried a really nice Thai white wine. The house specialty cocktails are definitely worth trying. A surprising list of Thai craft beer also. I will definitely be back.

A meal for the ages. Chef’s table brought me to this restaurant with high expectations and they were blown away with an incredible performance of flavor and elegance. Each dish was thoughtful, the service was wonderful and you truly feel like royalty during your dinner. Set some money aside for the little gift shop at the end of your dinner.

Nice atmosphere, strong and delicious food. The chef invited us to the kitchen to taste it before dinner. Definitely worth a visit. The price is not for everyone but worth a try.

Wow - just wow. It’s a place packed with flavours, in a chilled setting, comprised of a small shop and then som tables in another room. The whole compound is quite nice, you start by entering a fresh wind tunnel. The set menu was awesome. First amuse bouche in 2 rounds, with a nice white wine to accompany them. Then a starter, followed by an ocean of food, in different great tastes. I loved every bite. Desserts were fun and playful, followed by petit fours, that were all delightfully Thai. It was so good and so much fun. I wanted to keep eating but alas, I’m not a large enough human to empty all the plates there.. So if you’re into flavours and perfectly executed dishes, go here and have a great evening. We ended up spending around 20.000 baht, for food and wine for 2 people. It’s not that bad considering we were greatly entertained for 3,5 hours :-)

We had an amazing meal at Bo.Lan. We opted for the longer of the set menus. Every dish was fantastic. The service when you arrive is great. You are shown to a seating area to have your first drinks and some snacks whilst looking at the menu. You are then taken to the kitchen for your first dish which is a great experience. You then go to your table where the service starts. End to end it is about a 2 hour dining experience which is well worth it. We went for the beer pairing as we didn't fancy wine. This was a really cool idea and worked well with the food. Would highly recommend if you're in Bangkok!

Compared to two years ago, the overall dining experience improved due to the “friendliness of the staff” instead of “quality”. The tasting journey kicked off perfectly with the first bite followed by the extremely spicy to a gentle closure starters before going into mains. However, the mains let us down. Nothing extremely extraordinary except the ingredients were undeniably fresh. We did feedback and they accepted humbly. Furthermore they took us for a garden tour to reinforce the sustainability idea of the restaurant and the ingredients are absolutely organic. We still went home happily with the kind services. We aren’t sure if will patronize again.

Embarking on the rich tapestry of bo.lan's Thai flavors, my spice tolerance faced an unexpected challenge. With precision, the adept staff unveiled a culinary ally—a divine blend of refreshing rose apple and sweetened fried pork floss, rescuing my taste buds from the brink as I navigated through dishes that ventured beyond my comfort zone. Each dish, however, a masterpiece radiating authentic Thai charm, maintained its unattainable allure in the realm of culinary excellence.

This is my most favorite meal I’ve ever had. I love trying restaurants everywhere I go, this was amazing. Absolutely insane experience. I’ll be dreaming about this for years. When I went (November 2022) they were on a reduced schedule post-Covid and only open a couple days a week for an amuse bouche tasting menu, pre-fixe. See menu photos, attached. With 2 drinks it came out to about $180 USD each, 6,800 baht each. The meal started with a pandan water, followed by a spoonful of rice with coconut sugar and a local piece of fruit and a conversation with one of the owners. We felt greeted and felt so lucky to be there. The first couple rounds were small little single bite lovely pieces, it took us on a total journey. It felt nostalgic for a childhood in Thailand ive never known. The restaurant used to be a house I think and it just feels like you’re at your cool friend’s dinner party. They’re truly doing storytelling and sharing the local land and flavors with you here. The amuse bouche is followed by individual and family style plate main course, this was insane. It was so much food. We came hungry and we still couldn’t finish it. We felt defeated hahaha. I wish I had room in my tummy, we just couldn’t do it. This was followed by a beautiful cardamom forward tea full of a ton of gorgeous things I can’t remember, and then a pre dessert little tender cookie, and then little bits and pieces of 2 rounds of small and gentle dessert assortments. Absolutely beautiful end to a hugely flavorful meal. I loved everything about Bo.Lan. If you live here or if you’re just visiting, it’s a must.

Hidden treasure in Thong Lor. About 6 mins walk from Thong Lor BTS, its down a small alley which opens up to an edible garden and swimming pool. Would highly recommend the Thai curries and pickles. Not cheap Thai food, high quality which is good for a special occasion or date.

Phed mak! Hands down for the authenticity and craftsmanship for food in this restaurant. This place is not a place for fusion, teeny tiny, bite-size canapés but for real home-style rice and viand. Overall experience was positive, staff were attentive. Enough parking space. The dishes were spicy, but it is exactly as advertised. I highly recommend!

The curry is tied for my favorite dish in the entire world! The portions are enormous. The level of quality in the produce is so high, I have no idea how the prices are so low. I would pay 285 baht for a double espresso, simply to hang out with the staff because they are so nice. I have been dining here for 10 years, and the place is just as great as always.

What a treat! We were a bit worried due to some negative reviews but so glad we still went to experience on our own. The service was superb, the food was innovative but yet still authentic Thai food. The freshness in ingredients was noticeable (truly the best freshest organic food). Someone said in a review that the food was bland. I am not sure how anyone can call that food bland, there was so much going on with each bite. We ordered medium spicy (still very spicy), but it was definitely delicious and tolerable for us. Even mild version I imagine would still be good and certainly not bland. Thai food tastes best at least a little spicy at least. Also, presenting Thai food in a Michelin star way is not easy, but I think she accomplished this well. The only dish that can be better in my opinion was the coconut soup.

Dishes feels and tastes uniquely “home-cooked”. While someone might say it’s nothing special - I actually love it because it kinda has that “my mom made it homey feel”. Don’t expect something that will make you go “wowww” but delicious nevertheless.

My wife and I visited Bangkok as part of our honeymoon trip and jumped at the chance to visit Bo.lan after learning about it via the Netflix series Chef’s Table (even going so far as to come straight from the airport to make the only reservation we could secure). We had the pleasure of meeting Bo, and the love she and her husband put into their food, restaurant, and customers is abundantly clear. Despite being exhausted and barely hungry, we had a wonderful experience and are so glad we could visit!

I was in Bo.Lan with a very high aspectation, aspecting to try a refine/Autenthic Thai Cousine , but i think Netflix destroy the good base they build in the past.ambient outside and entrace good, restaurant himself dark and sad…Staff friendly, not realy prepared but …. Amuses and starter good almost till the end , with the lycis start the experience slowing down. . main course ( all at ones fulling the table) everage and i think they need to review the temperature everything cold. We had wine paring and they serve 2 glass at the same time , 1 red and 1 white… Enjoy and choose 😂. Curry with what thei called Seabass,no comment , fish was impossible to cut, watching the other tables same story ( no knife on the table). Pork belly with gum kind of raw skin. Pre dessert and “dessert “, no comment. Sound that Every course it’s base on coconut and shrimps paste and ginger. Menú never change, and it’s 1…Nice the chili. Was not an Experience at all and an we paid an Amazing price that for respect i will not mention. wine pairing ( all open bottles and all dinner they serve us the end of the bottle, realy unbilivable 🙏🏻). Anyway what to do , everything become just a business a certain point. Bo was not there her husband yes, nice to see him at the begining and after no interaction anymore.. and they have just few tables, that can make a different i believe… Their own Tea, was spectacular flavour.i think should be a store and not a Restaurant… But just an opinión.
