This Banyan Tree Hotel-run cruise was phenomenal! Travel on a covered, converted rice barge roughly 150 years old. Only a handful of tables and unlimited staff attention. Delicious food and so many courses! They listen closely to your food preferences and dietary restrictions and cater the meal to your liking and needs. Very romantic! Not ideal for children. Dress nice if you can. Most of their clientele consists of Korean and Japanese tourists but all are certainly welcome. Expensive, yes, but entirely worth it!

Truly unique and an experience that will last you a lifetime. Staff were all amazing, the food delicious, the chef took her time to visit each table. Wonderful memories. There is limited tables to make it a more intimate dinning experience. It is very expensive yes, but for a romantic or quite family time, it is well worth it. No dancing on this boat. They make a photo stop near a temple and each table, one by one go up to take a photo. When we were there, there was no buffet, it was a set course. Before boarding they asked our food preferences. I don't think I can afford to do it a second time, but happy I did it once. Great views, just bring a camera that takes great night time photos on a boat.

It was amazing experience. The number of people on the boat is not a lot so it’s better than any other similar boat. The food was so well presented but it just as delicious too. The staff was very attentive and asked us to take picture every time they saw us struggling with cameras. They give you picture at the end of the dinner as well.

I cannot Thank or praise the guys at Apsara and the Banyan Tree enough. I came to Thailand with my GF with the intention or proposing to her on the river... The team on the boat were wonderful in helping me pull off the surprise and fortunately she said yes. The food was great, the service impeccable and the overall atmosphere and event the best I have experienced.

Best of.all the cruises Wow, I cannot recommend this highly enough for an upmarket, romantic, amazing Thai dinner. The royal Thai cuisine was superfluous banyan tree catered. The other cruises really serve buffet slop by comparison. The setting is quiet, romantic, and uncrowded. Just perfect! And the staff.. well banyan tree quality says it all. If you cannot afford to stay at the banyan, at least do their cruise.

It was so amazing. Not crowded. Beautiful views along the river. The food is tasty. Great traditional music. Very romantic.
