We didn't stay at the hotel but celebrated my birthday on the Dinner Cruise. I've seen and passed by other tour boats through the night and have to say this is the Best one for the view of the top deck for the whole tour.

A fantastic experience you won’t forget and inexpensive too! It's a big stable boat. Seating is on the top deck under the stars giving a 360-degree view, and what a spectacular eye-catching view of Bangkok it is. The dinner was amazing, the best Red Duck curry ever. The live music show was great, the wait staff polite and attentive. There's ample parking. Bravo River Side!

Bad service. Front-desk workers and bellman are not helpful. Should have better training for workers too be more, helpful, smiling and more friendly. However, housekeepers are helpful. Breakfast for cheap rooms rate have limited options and boring. Swimming sucks and dirty. No need to prepare for swim wears! Dinner cruise food is ok. Overall, I do not reccomend this hotel.

Took advantage of a great offer, room and river cruise with international buffet. Room good, clean and fantastic river views. Shower room very good with powerful shower behind glass door, only one small detail, the tiles require a great deal of attention to avoid slipping. The cruise was great, huge selection of various foods, fruit and desert options, all set off by a great band and traditional Thai dancers.

Ok but lacking in the finer touches such as dressing gowns slippers . An open wardrobe and no storage cupboards .. Location is fantastic great views over river , food also is gorgeous tasty well presented. Also has 2 floating restraunts that will take you for that cruise along the river wial you dine .very friendly staff .good size comfy room. Myself i wouldn't come back again. But hey thats just me .but well worth visiting.

Very good hotel with necessities and appropriate facilities, locating near the river which can see the good view of Chao Phaya River. The parking lot is big enough in opened air zone not far from the hotel. Testing on cruise for dinner is quite well to be selected for small group or family.

Lovely experience. Highly recommend to take a ferry/boat that goes all the way to downtown near by asiatec and around iconsiam. You can get off there and either take a walk or take another ferry to visit Asiatech. You will find small malls and shops to buy souvenirs.

So overall it was good. A hotel that is already getting a bit old. But it was very clean and during my short stay I couldn't complain about the service. A little bumpy at check in. The breakfast was rather manageable but everything I needed for breakfast. I find the end time of 9:30 a bit unusual. The price-performance ratio is right for me.

Looked nice, friendly, helpful staff, clean lobby. Is close to another hotel with similar name Norn riverside vice riverside Bangkok. Had confusion with both GPS and taxi but staff was polite, helpful and ordered a new taxi.

I haven't visited the hotel, it's a pretty old building. Here is the pier of the river side ships, with which you can take a relaxed, nice river cruise with good food. The nice thing is that there are no tourists on board, just Thais. The trip includes an explanation of the river, but in Thai

The experience is somehow nice. I hope there will be coco hot drinks for those who do not drink coffee or tea. The food taste is okay. The way they handle the salmon is not okay. The singers need to choose good songs.

Rooms and location super nice.. Service was poor, tables were not cleared, and then a 10% service surcharge for service that was not provided.

There is NO hair dryer, facial tissue in the room!! Also not available for rent. The way staff treat you is very bad. The housekeepings have the breakfast meeting in front of my room as well!!!

Daughter and granddaughter stayed here because they wanted to swim and it is local to my house.It has a tiny bar and it sold cold beer.There was nobody near the bar,bit is a hotel that caters for river cruises, and does nothing to promote hospitality. Awkward situation to book a room, quoted 1400 thb whilst the internet shows from 890.thb.We had to call my wife to drive here and check her in, had to use my wifes ID card to get the 890 thb price. So why did my daughter stay there? She wanted a swimming pool. I enjoyed the ice cold beer in the shop-house across the road it was 100 thb a bottle cheaper than the Riverside.

Dinner trip on a ferry with great view of bangkok night along Chaopraya river. Took total 2 hours for round trip which i think it's quite fast. They drove too fast on the way back. Food is ok not too bad in some plates but there are some questions with their cakes

Get on a Chao Praya River cruise here. You can see many historic and tourist attraction along the river side. It took about 1.30hr for a trip. . Foods are bad. Recommend you to paid only cruise (200thb) and eat only small dishes or eat somewhere else. Don't buy a all-you-can-eat ticket. You will regret about it.

I have used this hotel only as starting point for dinner cruise. Many times over the past 25 years. Nice cruise, good food, Thai and Japanese, but noisy because of the live music. Ok for groups but not much chance to have a private conversation. Dancing is possible. 3 x in the week there is a 10 mins Thai classical dance performance.

This hotel provides 2 dinner cruise boats daily. 1 boat offers an international buffet dinner that cost 1200Baht per head. The other boat charges 250Baht boarding fee per person & you order your food on board, based on a wide variety of Thai dishes. Delicious!

This is for the River Cruise by River Side Hotel. Seafood is not fresh at all, especially salmon and prawn. Food taste horrible. Mushroom soup taste like milk with few slices of mushrooms. Bolognese is plain sour tomato paste. Less food choices on the buffet. Chef don't understand simple English words of food. Salad bar is not salad bar, it's a vegetable stall in a market. The buffet is totally not worth it. Just imagine, you came happily for a nice buffet, but when you look at all those food and you lose appetite. Terrible. Live band is bad. The songs chosen are nice and chill, but the singer (lady) sings badly. Singers are not professional, they dress up like at home. Two stars for the night view, Thai traditional performance, free flow Chang beer, and cleanliness of cruise.

Had a great view of the river, really enjoyed the boat cruise they offered with all you can eat dinner.

The hotel is in need of some rejuvenation in the corridors but in side the rooms they are very clean with good decor. The reception and restaurant staff are friendly and very courteous.

Great cruise and good food. Only locals so no tourist rip off. Do try one! Book in advance.

Nice hotel for the price you pay. Great location if you wanna travel by the river taxi. Reasonably good breakfast. Very spacious family room. Fixed operating hours for restaurant. Quiet location. Hotel is still undergoing renovation but after completion it will sure be good. Added advantage, there is free buggy service.
