Perfect place for a romantic getaway. We spent 4 magical days in the Columbus Cabin and, after two weeks in Cape Town, this felt like a world away. The views are enchanting and the hosts are extremely thoughtful and flexible. Definitely get some meal kits depending on the days you will be there; made the mistake of ordering only two but the hosts were gracious enough to allow us to make last minute orders. We had a great time learning how to make pizza in the wood fired oven, braai-ing aged beef steaks and relaxing in the hot tub overlooking the town. Had deep conversations by the fireplace and refreshing mornings being woken up by the sun. It's amazing that you can see the stars from your bed. The hosts organised for us a complimentary wine tasting at an Organic farm and highly recommend it.

Untether has everything you need for the perfect, relaxing time away. We spent the first 2 nights of our honeymoon at the Romeo House and it was amazing! The rooms are fully kitted with the best appliances & views are gorgeous. I would recommend ordering some of the food packages so it's all there before you arrive. I would however recommend taking a bigger car if you can, it's up a pretty big, steep hill.

We were highly impressed by Untether! The service received and level of comfort is commendable! We had the best weekend disconnecting and reconnecting with each other. There is nothing missing from the cabin, everything you need is provided for you and extras even offered! Would definitely recommend and even go back!

This was our first stay at an Eco-cabin and from the amazing experience we had at Untether, it definitely will not be our last!!The cabin is very well equipped with stylish and modern accessories and finishes. Every little detail of what you would require has been carefully thought of and made available. We loved that we were able to have massages on the deck of our cabin and the complete privacy that we were afforded, however if you need assistance with anything, Elretha and Willard were very responsive and helpful. Loved the hot tub and the convenience of the pizza oven. Looking forward to our next stay!!

Our stay was spectacular. Everything about the eco-pod was so thoughtfully done: beautifully designed and appointed, just the right amount of space; perfectly warm in winter; wonderful food through the online store, and management and staff were a delight to deal with. Can't wait to return!

Have your choice of 3 secluded, contemporary one bedroom cabins located amoungst the hills of a stunning Olive Farm just outside Wellington. I stayed at Columbus cottage which had the most gorgeous Mountain View’s. The farm has beautiful trails for mountain biking, and hiking, and there are endless activities to explore in the area. Untether even has a designated travel planner, who can suggest wonderful places nearby to check out! I’ve never seen a more beautifully designed, detail oriented accommodation with a personalized touch. Untether has thought of everything you might want to use or do during your stay including picnic baskets and blankets, board games, a journal and pen, cozy robes and eye masks, and a leather cooking apron. There is a fully stocked kitchen with top quality cooking pots and utensils, a pizza oven, braai, 2-plate gas stove, fridge, freezer & coffee equipment. They even offer slackpacking meal kits full of local produce & ingredients, wine and goodies that can be ordered ahead of time for your stay. I tried the meat lovers pizza making kit, and the Klein Sneeuberg Sauvignon Blanc and Snow Mountain Pinot Noir, which was delicious! The cottage is off grid and super comfortable and convenient, with Aircon, and strong WiFi, so you can easily work remote! The highlight for me was definitely the wood fired hot tub on the veranda, and the outdoor shower with a view. I’m already missing this peaceful little haven, and will definitely be back again soon!
