Being a Left Nephrectomy patient from my childhood(30days of my birth). I was diagnosed with CKD when I was 25, and I've been taking treatment from CMC Vellore. Though the treatment wasn't helping me recover from CKD. I had to start dialysis when I was 33 and from then on I was searching for doctors who does best on transplants. Since I had many friends who are graduated in Medicine who gave me suggestions about the best transplant doctors in the city and most of them came up with the name Dr.Balamukunthan. Now I am very glad that I met him, because I only had an option of ABO incompatible transplant which is susceptible to have complications during and after the transplant. Dr.Balamukunthan, was prudently watchful and discreet in the face of risk, as I had many complications during Pre-op, OP and post-op. You might not believe me I had "N" number of complications because of my health conditions and the doctor was calm and composed with me though he had to undergo ending up giving me multiple treatments. Finally with stupendous support from him and with God's grace the transplant was successful. Coming to the support from duty doctors and nurses from Sri Gokulam hospital, since I was admitted because of an infection which rose by creatinine levels and reduced by wbc counts, I would simply say I felt home and they recovered me well. and the hospital is hygienically well maintained. Dr.Balamukunthan is passionate about of his profession and understands every patients needs carefully and more importantly he treat them as his family member so the patient never feels lost at any point.

Best hospital for dialysis, and I highly recommend. The doctors and staff were not only friendly but also showed genuine care and compassion towards the patients.The hospital's facilities were top-notch, and we appreciated the cleanliness and hygiene maintained in the premises. Definitely not a money-minded, as the expenses were reasonable. Overall, the nephro care at it's best. Other specialities like Surgery, Ortho, Urology, Radiology, Ent, Pulmonology were also available. Truly grateful for the excellent care and will undoubtedly choose it for any future medical needs. Dr.Balamukunthan sir is very kind and treat the patient like family member. He listen the patient history with patience then start the treatment. He frequently visit patient room/ICU to see the progress of patient and nurses and staff's are doing their job well. He used to advise what you should and should not do while treatment. I came to know him through online research and really he is one of the best nephrology in the Chennai city. Happy to provide 5 star for Dr.Balamukunthan sir service and their staff's. i was referred by dr jawahar for kidney failure....was scared about dialysis.whole process was expalined ....dialysis went on smootly ...one month now...am able to have my normal life ....and not depending on anybody.

Last night(23.12.2023) my wife was admitted to this hospital for nose surgery. The night duty doctor and nurse tried more than five times to finish the venplon and they didn't seem to be able to put it on and because of their very bad behavior my wife came back to home. Till now the pain is continue. Not satisfied
