Tried their breakfast options like poori, dosai and pongal. Taste was above average. Prices were nominal. Their service was really great. Really helpful and attentive staff. There is also a separate A/C area, which I felt kind of old school. Nowadays whole restaurants are turning to centralized A/c. Parking was not sufficient at all. This restaurant is located in a busy area, they should have really thought about the parking facilities for their customers.

All tiffin items, chat items, desserts will be tastier here. This hotel is always busy with customers. Rooftop open dinning is also available. Nandhiniee sweets takeaway counter is present inside this hotel. Banquet hall with 150 people capacity is available here. We celebrated our son's birthday party there. The food was good and decorations were awesome and service were good.

The food was great - tried ghee roast, parotta and the fallooda was also awesome!

We did a family party at the party hall here. We received several compliments from our guest regarding taste and quality of the food. They didn’t compromised the food quality and customer service were top notch. I highly recommend this place for the family function party. It was less burden for the host to coordinate the food catering guys and getting all the materials needed instead we used their food service, which was very delicious. We will highly recommend this place compare to any other place in that area.

First of all hats off to staffs working there👏👏. There service was at a different level with zero error on quality. We were a big crowd with kids and still were able to complete our food in an hour and 15 with good hospitality. Some of the things you wanna try are, chola puri, Podi dosa, garlic dosa, ghee dosa and lime soda was perfect at the end. One downside there is no reservation for AC room as the crowd keeps flowing. Best part is even with the huge crowd and lot of tension the staffs were humble to accept few jokes👍👍.

True flavoured meals and tiffin (English translation for non locals- Meals= Thali system, Tiffin= Idli, dosa, uttappam etc) Enjoyed the sumptuous thali / rice plate with Sambar, rasam, pappu (dal) few dry and curries veg, pickle, dahi and paapadam. Heavenly bliss on eating with hands Waiter got extra servings of Sambar, rasam and buttermilk. Rice servings were large enough to fill the tummy upto neck. Fast service, standard flavour in each visit.

Well located in Chromephet near to reliance trends and Saravana stores. Quick service and food quality is good. Pure veg hotel and has very limited parking facility option. Good for quick bite and bit costly compare to other hotels.

A variety of dishes from the menu for everyone in a family to choose from. Though a lot of crowd comes in for dine in, the restaurant offers three types of dine-ins, the non AC, AC dine in and the roof top dine in. Dishes are served in a hygienic and fast manner. Fair prices for all the dishes and best place to dine in if you're going as a family for shopping in and around the GST road and chromepet.

A pure vegetarian pocket friendly restaurant. The food is very tasty and the restaurant serves both south and north indian cuisine. The restaurant has two ways of serving: non AC and AC. It is usually very crowded during weekends and peak hours. Swiggy and zomato delivery is also available.

This is a well above average resturant. Pure veg food is really delicious. Have good roof top. Good for family dine. Ambience is little remarkable. But Parking is a bit problem.

Us, a family of four ate breakfast here and all of us were satisfied with the restaurant. We each got our ordered dishes quite fast, and the food was of genuinely good quality. Everything was tasty and cooked in a homelike way. A little pricey, but well worth it in our opinion. Service was prompt and friendly, and the ac hall was a very comfortable place to eat. Would visit again!

As I am travelling to Srirangam taking Guindy route from Chennai, we stopped at this hotel. Located at the brink of Chromepet that leads to Tiruchirappalli highway, parking our car we got into the a/c room. First you will see non a/c rooms, followed by a/c room at the end of the hotel. Since it was 8am we started with Idly,Vada, dosa,Pongal,coffee and tea. Food is really tasty, especially small onion-drumstick sambhar, pudhina chutney and tomatoe chutney. The ambience is homely, though it could be maintained in better ways. There is parking facility for both two wheelers and four wheelers. Food is served hot, and service is fast. A good hotel to stopby in Chromepet which is on the main GST Road.

Well the food taste and quality is not as expected, it's going wrost from bad. The chef or cook doesn't know how to make ghee roast dosa, they are trying to push the dosas even thought its not come good on the pan. Wada was hollow and half cooked never seen such wada in life time.

Recently we had function in their mini hall..I was totally disappointed on their service,negligence response. Lack of respect and unsupportive management people only reason that makes us satisfy was food other than please don't ever plan for any functions in their mini party hall else you will suffer a lot.

I really liked the food. Cost is also ok. We went for dinner. Every item ordered was given within a few minutes and the taste is also good. There is no adequate parking facility available since it is located on the main road. There are AC and Non AC dining facilities available.

Taste of food was really good, if you go to 10.00pm you only get Dosa items so if you want to visit late night you didn't get what you want. I am really feeling bad about their service at table. No one care about the customer simply they are taking orders and supply not get back.

Balajee Bhavan restaurant is one of the busiest  restaurants in Chrompet. This is the first time I am trying, but it was a very good experience overall. We tried poori, set dosa, masala dosa, chapati and coffee. All were good in taste and the quantity was also good. We liked their poori with vadakari combo which gave a superb combination and taste was good. Our least favorite dish which we didn't like is Chapathi, it was so hard and also not good. We were sitting in the roof top area (open terrace - typically telling :) ), it was a wide area without any major set up. We thoroughly enjoyed it, and of course our kids enjoyed that environment. Only one thing I want you to consider is coffee, actually they don't have any set up on the roof top to prepare coffee. So, if you are a coffee lover and prefer to consume something hot, then you need to rethink before you order. Because of the travel time (from ground floor to the top floor), we can get warm coffee only and not the hot coffee. But the coffee was good in taste, aroma - but I prefer to be hot. Parking is a bit challenging during the peak hours, but if you are coming in two wheeler you can manage. Ambience is very good, service can be improved.

We have ordered Fried rice, Mini sambar idly, onion dosa and Phav bhaji. The hotel is very clean. The food and service was good. But they can improve on the taste and quality of food. Sambar idly was cold when served. The chinese items were costly.

Superb South Indian cuisine experience. The staff is really good, supportive and gives full respect to guests. Stomach filling meals but one would wish to have more and more.

The staff were very courteous and the food was good. The filter coffee is highly recommended for all the coffee lovers. The best part was the price. My family and I had 5 or 6 items and it just cost us 273 bucks which is very reasonable. Overall a must try place.

Good place, reasonably priced, tasty South Indian style restaurant. The service is very nice and quick. The place a decent car parking area which can easily accommodate about 15- 20 cars. It is very visible from the main road. Few minutes from the airport towards Tambaram. The quality so far has been Maintained very well. The management must concentrate on Quality and pricing. I can recommend this place anytime for people who are going towards that area. Worth a visit if you are around that area.

One of the best Vegetarian hotel in crompet location. Quality, taste ,hospitality perfect in the hotel.Lot of variety of Veg dishes available in their menu with good quality and quantity. Price is bit high compare to its peer but you don't regret about that after eating the food. Bike parking and car parking facilities available.

Rather than their competitors who take a lot of time in taking order and serving the food, SBB just operates like a roadside shop, with instant orders and servings with a food quality better than saravana beavan. They have understood people's mindset

Balajee bhavan is a decent restaurant. Regularly maintaining quality, taste and quantity of food. Had a special chennai meals which cost Rs. 210. Food items they provided were good enough and good in taste. Service also very quick. Good resturant for family gathering too.....

We were two very apparent outsiders for the early morning breakfast at this place. The staff here was too sweet and courteous despite not having a common language to talk in. We ordered idli, ghee podi dosa and filter coffee. All tasted good though the idli could have better. But it is the excellent serving staff that will surely bring me back to this place.

Good spacious place in city to dine comfortably with car parking. High class veg neatly served by white uniform persons. You have to have enough money in your pocket if you go with family & friends. Little costly for the standard of food. Felt fine and peaceful in the morning. Seen busy always to find place to dine in the evening.

There is a parking space and a nice kind watchman who welcomed us to have our lunch here and we went inside, ac hall was not serving meals as it was over and we sat in non ac it was just around 2pm it was peak of lunch hours and they said no meals no fried rice badly disappointed We finally got two saying this is last The sambar wasn’t great Kuttu was ok Puli Kolam was average Not happy with meals but just that we got something U should plan in advance specially on weekends
