If you truly care for your cats well being, I highly advise against going for Cats By The Beach. This is purely a business to them and nothing more than that, our pets are treated like commodities, no affection, no supervision and carelessness to the highest degree. They board hundreds of cats at a time and they don't turn down any requests to board regardless of space available, evidently for their benefit. Cats that don't “gel well” with others may be stored away in the bathroom, balcony or in the worst case, a cage. I boarded my pet cat Matilda for 10 days and have never received any video/photo or even message updates for that matter. Only upon asking we were sent an image or a short video (3 to 6 seconds) delayed by almost a day. The messages that we were sent had a passive aggressive undertone and were mostly just about how our cat was causing a problem by hissing and scratching if someone came close. these are clearly signs that our cat was scared of her new surroundings and thought she was in danger so was hissing and scratching to protect herself. Their misinterpretation of this situation is yet another proof that they lack professionalism. Everything I said in this review seems like a stark contrast to the many positive reviews but that doesn’t make this untruthful. I Personally know many people that have chosen to keep their cats here don’t come back because of the same problems I listed but chose not to write a review. I think it is important that people be aware of what they're getting into boarding at Cats By The Beach. No hate to anyone involved but rather a warning. They want a “perfect cat” that’s friendly, that doesn’t require attention and basically easy money. If your cat doesn’t check those boxes, find another boarder.

I had my cat Luna stay at their boarding for 4 days. Luna was provided a separate room where she could move as freely as she wanted. They requested for detailed food & feeding timings so that they could follow the same. They provided me regular updates & sent me photos. Since I was traveling out station they also accommodated my timings & let me drop Luna as per my schedule. Very welcoming people. Definitely recommend them for anyone who wants a safe space for their kitties. P.S. They have their own 2 cats & so are well versed with cat behaviors.

The booking was made at a short notice. My cat Togo, was given a separate room without any cages. They had an attached bathroom which were the litter was kept. The room had sufficient space with a sofa, a huge cat tree house and scratch post. They sent me pictures and videos daily during her playtime.

I boarded my cat for 10 days in this place. He got to sleep on the bed and could roam freely in the bedroom unlike those dreaded boarding kennels where he used to be in a cage with less movement outside. Sayeda kept me informed with periodic whatsapp updates. Definitely, One of the best cat boarding homes in the city.

Trustworthy place to leave your babies. They update you 2-3 times a day with pictures and videos of the cats. I left 3 of my cats for boarding and they really enjoyed their stay there. And the best part is they’re allowed to roam freely in a big cat proofed room with so many toys and cat rooms so they won’t most likely feel like they’re left alone.

A friendly environment for my cat. Well taken care off in the entire week that she was away from us. The place also has ample movement area for the cats and fun toys to keep them engaged. On my request, the cat also needed a grooming session along with a visit to the doctor for deworming. Along with this they also provide pickup and drop facilities which made it very easy for us. All this was very well taken care in a professional manner. Would definitely suggest Cats by the Beach for an affordable yet friendly environment for your cat.

I left my cat with Sayeda for 2 weeks. The main highlight is that she provided me with regular updates in the form of photos and videos everyday. This gave my cat the opportunity to socialize with other cats. It gave her the space to open up and make friends. My cat has not had the chance to interact with other cats much.There are many toys and all facilities that your cat might need. In case you feel your cat might not be comfortable with other cats. Don't worry. They also have individual rooms for your cat. The pricing is very nominal and affordable for the great care they provide for your furry babies.

I found this place late at night on my first day in Chennai. My cat and I relocated and moved to a place which was horrendous. My cat would've died that night due to heat. I took him out in an emergency situation and reached here at 2 am. So grateful she received my call. I kept my cat for 15 days and searched for a new place. Very good service. Neat and clean. We left our baby with them for three days and they took care of her like their own cat. The place was very spacious and maintained very well. It was fully catproofed. As our cat is non friendly they gave her a full room which had wardrobe ( cats love to sit inside the wardrobes) and a rolling cushion chair. The room had a good view of the outdoor space. They updated us with our baby's photo timely. Overall a nice place for your furry friend

I’m very happy with Sayeda’s Cats on the Beach. We’ve used her services twice so far once when our kitty was only 2.5 months and once at 8 months. We prefer leaving our kitten with Sayeda because our kitty is playful and active she lets the cats and kittens roam freely in a safe space. They can play and interact with each other. She has cat proofed the space and made it interesting with perches and cat trees.

‘Cats by the beach’ is most definitely one of the best places to leave your cat. They sheltered our cat for 20 days and he is as healthy, both emotionally and physically as he was when we had left him there. Would love to use their services in future again if need be. Highly recommended for others as well.

One of the best cat boarding centre in Chennai. I was looks for cats only place as most of the boarding centres was mixed with other animals. This was the perfect spot for my cat, Spot on was applied before taken into care. The rooms were spacious for cats to move around, clean and tidy. Sayeda the caretaker was kind and polite, she is also highly proactive and a flexible person. I am not exaggerating any of the above mentioned information, hence the reason it is one of the best cat boarding places in Chennai.

My cat was allowed time alone to adjust to the place, and after that he was roaming around with the other kittens. This place will not cage your cats, which is a big plus. Regular photo and video updates kept our minds at ease too. I would definitely board my cat with them again.

This is our first ever cat boarding experience. Initially I was worried my cat might feel lonely. Within half an hour, my cat started feeling comfortable around the place. My cat is epileptic and she needs special care. She has been given a very good care by cats by the beach. The room they provided is vast and good enough for the cats to get accommodated. Cats by the beach is no.1 cat boarding service in Chennai. I had left my kittens for more than a week while travelling , unfortunately one of my kittens fell ill due to some previous infection . They were truly diligent and helpful to get my treated by one of the best doctors in the city and make him safe . Trust situation would have been worse if it was not for them . They also maintain the space clean and hygienic , gives spoton and other treatments which are not done by many boarding facilities . Truly relieved and happy to be availing their services.

My cat is 8 months old, and I'm new to being a cat mom. So when I wanted to travel, I was looking for a boarding place for Aara, and I didn't want some place commercial for him where he would be kept in cage for the whole week. That is when I found "Cats By The Beach" - They have boarding only for "CATS" and this whole thing is done in their house where each cat has its own designated room and doesn't interact with other cats. As my cat has never been socialized before as he was grown during lockdown. I decided to leave him for the first time for 6 full days. And I was really nervous, but "Syeda" made sure that he was fully taken care of his needs and made it a very comfortable stay for him. And I was given daily updates regarding his food and playtime and everyday I had few minutes of Video call during his playtime so that I didn't miss my cat. And great thanks to Syeda, she was always available on call or message whenever I was worried about him. Overall it was a great and peaceful journey for me as my Aara was taken care by such great hands. Will definitely recommend this place if anyone is looking to board their pet while being on a trip.

They are the best to look after your loved kittens and cats. I would give a 10/10 for their care for my kittens. They were very professional and clear on all the requirements and helped us a lot more than I expected in taking care of our kittens.. I had 5 kittens to be taken care of for 5 days.. They took good care of our kittens. The care taker - She thoroughly explained how it would be and how much it would cost up front and the place was very neat and hygenic. They also followed up scheduled eating habits we give for the kittens. The best thing is they kept updating how my kittens were doing and sent me pictures and videos of them - which was very reassuring and helpful. They gave my kittens a seperate room together so they all can be with each other and didn’t feel alone. They were Happy. They have pick-up and drop service from and to your home if you are not able to go directly to their place. One of my kittens fell sick when I asked them to take care - She had to be taken to the hospital everyday.. The caretaker helped my kitten to get back her proper health - Every single day she took her to the hospital twice as the doctor mentioned and gave her medicines and food. It is not an easy task to take care of a sick kitten and giving them medicines on time, It’s a miracle for us to have my kitten back in good health. I can’t express my thankfulness in words for the way she was taken care. They take care of our kittens like their own. My kittens really liked the place and they grew fond of them. If you want your cats to be taken care of ,do go ahead with this place. They are the Best! Thank you Cats By the Beach for helping our little family.
