This place is phenomenal. First, it’s located in a quiet little sleepy corner of riverside that is so peaceful and relaxing. Plenty of parking. The staff is very polite and although service was slow, I understand that’s not the norm so didn’t take stars off. It’s clean with lots of seating indoors and outdoors. It has a big menu with good variety, and I want to try everything on the menu. The food is AMAZING. I had a bowl and it was super fresh and tasty - their tofu is killer. I also had the corn which was very yummy. Oh, and the vanilla vegan ice cream sandwich, forget about it! So good! Overall it was a great value and I will definitely be back.

I drove from Highland to visit this place and IMHO it was not worth the 45 minute drive. I love health food stores so I really enjoyed the fact that they are attached to La Sierra Health Foods. I ordered a jack stack aka jack fruit nachos, they were really bland. The jack fruit had no seasoning, the plate made for a nice picture but that’s it. The wait was quite excessive especially considering the fact that we were the only ones there. Thankfully I was able to pass the time in the health food store. Call ahead orders are accepted and apparently an absolute necessity. I’d certainly have to be in the area to patronize this place again. They offer indoor and outdoor seating along with plenty of parking.

**IF YOU DON'T KNOW WHAT TO ORDER, JUST TELL THEM WHAT YOU LIKE** They have great recommendations! That carnitas-loaded quesadilla was 💣 🔥 🔥. Vegetarian but the carnitas texture was on point. The veggie’s they put inside that crispy tortilla paired perfectly with the sauce and cheese. I tried the veggie cheese, had them make sure it was extra melted and they did. The citrus slaw added a twang of lime I had to keep going back for. My moms burrito she couldn’t stop eating. Normally she takes two bites and she is full. They do have indoor and outdoor seating. The girl at the window had great suggestions that helped me decide what to get and she was friendly, doing her job wonderfully.

A wonderful eatery with a robust selection of healthy and insanely delicious vegan food. The bowls and tacos are my go-to. The pupusas and burgers are also incredible. Honestly it's hard to choose because the menu is so extensive, and they always have a bunch of additional specials For most dishes you can choose your protein: grilled tofu, seitan carnitas, pulled jackfruit, Just Egg or a veg burger. All the proteins are homemade, so even for someone like me who is not big on meat substitutes, the seitan carnitas and pulled jackfruit taste like real food. Thankfully, Oasis went 100% vegan in 2021 after serving eggs and dairy for many years. They now use all plant-based cheese and creams. The food here rivals the best of LA's plant-based foodie spots. I live 25 minutes away and I make a point of stopping here whenever I'm in the area. My experience with the burritos is that they're kinda small. The seating atmosphere is a very casual cafe style, nothing fancy. Bring layers, it can be cold and the indoor seating area is not well heated either. Oasis is attached to La Sierra Natural Foods but is a totally separate business. When I'm there I usually stop in to La Sierra which is great for bulk goods, plant-based meats, and lots of specialty vegan items that are hard to find elsewhere. Their produce section never seems very good.

Love the vegan food options. It’s on the higher of price but I think the food is worth it. I love their carnitas tacos with double tortillas (you have to request that), lime and salsa!!! The pupusas and soles are great as well! The plantains were amazing! Highly recommend this establishment.

Very quick and friendly. Had the breakfast burrito it was big enough to split and really tasty! Chai latte was nice too

Some of the best, fast healthy food in all of SoCal. Everything is fresh, nothing too salty and everything has a ton of flavor—and it’s all plant based! Certain eateries are worth traveling to or going out of your way simply to experience, i’d say this is one of them!

The food is incredible the staff is super friendly. As a bonus the Girl who took my last order had really really pretty 😍 eyes and a sweet voice ( she was wearing a mask unfortunately but I can only imagine) ok back to the review. The food is delicious they are now 100 % vegan. Every thing on the menu is delicious. O have tried their bowls and their soups and their jackfruit tacos they are super yummy

The kind of food that makes you feel good after your done eating. 😋My first time here I tried their carnitas burrito🌯, papusa 🥟, and their seasonal tamale🌟. (Tamale was huge🤪) All were awesome. Their vegan cream💣 is bomb and there hot sauce🥵 it's literally fire 🔥.so much variety in the menu definitely coming back to try more. 5 stars🤩

There are a lot of vegetarian places out there but there isn't one that gives you choices to customize to what you are feeling like without fail. The ingredients are fresh and the burrito that I had was well balanced between the carnitas, roasted corn, and avocado ginger sauce. It's got the right balance of citrus and sweetness from the corn. The avocado ginger blended nicely with the rice whole the beans was cooked just right. The whole family can find something they like here without needing to order preset items.

This is REAL Food that will fuel your body and excite your senses! It is so hard these days to find nutrient-dense food that is reliable and of the purest quality. I have been coming here for years for my plant based delights and it never disappoints. Everyone here is so accommodating and focused on quality. I feel so fortunate to have this option in my community!

Amazing food!! 🤤⭐ This was a local cafe we decided to check out visiting Riverside next to an amazing health market. The food is incredibly delicious, we tried a lot because everything sounded so good! Potato taquitos we're crispy and soft. Our salads were soo so good with jackfruit and the avocado ginger dressing was to die for! Also quite filling! The pupusa and plantains were pretty good too. Thank you for your delicious food!! 🙏🏼

Let me start off by saying that when I tried this place about 9years ago it wasn’t good. I moved to Portland, OR for those 9 years and came back. My sis and I decided to give them another chance. And OMG! I am so glad I did. What I had was so delicious and super healthy, it changed my perspective about them. I’ve tried their burger with the Oasis patty, mushrooms, and turmeric aioli. As well as their chickn burger, taquitos de papa and jackfruit. I always make it a combo with their baked potato wedges and ginger spritz. For dessert my go to is their chocolate cake. So if you’re in the La Sierra Riverside area, don’t hesitate to check them out!

It's fresh made vegan food. It can take up to 20 minutes for you to get your order. It's pretty much a create your own menu. Food could be seasoned a lot better but it's edible enough. Adequate social distancing seating. This our first time eating out since the lockdown for COVID19 back in March.

I seriously love this place! It’s one of the best vegan/vegetarian restaurants I’ve been too. It’s also a locally owned restaurant so I like to support it as much as I can especially during these difficult times. The staff is always super friendly and the food is always done fast! I would highly recommend giving them a try

A Gem at some place we never expected, just happened to be here Nice food, vegan / vegetarian but reasonable price compared to other places. We found rarely seen Jackfruit here. And many items that you don't find in a vegetarian restaurant in the US. Great food, great place, great people. Attached store is also great!! Hope more people go here to keep this place running

This was my second time coming to the Oasis Vegetarian Cafe and this time I brought a friend with me and this was her first time coming. I got the taco jackfruit bowl and she got the regular jackfruit bowl and the food was so delicious, tasty and the perfect amount of spiciness that we both really enjoyed. The person at the cash register Bianca (I believe that’s her name), was so patient with me as I asked her all the questions about their food and she explained to me that basically everything they make is 100% made from scratch which I was really happy to learn. She has great customer service as well as the woman who brought our food to us as we dined in. I’m so happy I discovered this place and my friend and I plan on coming back here in a week or 2 and to have this little tradition of eating their delicious food. The ice cream sandwich they have is also another lovely treat that we really enjoyed as well for dessert. My friend and I were thoroughly satisfied with everything and that’s a huge thanks to the staff at Oasis Vegetarian Cafe. Thanks for sharing your amazing food to the public. :)

LOVE LOVE LOVE this vegetarian restaurant!! The food is just awesome especially the bowl with organic eggs. The vegan cream is to die for as well as all of their sauces especially the turmeric!! I always order it with the cole slaw for a magnificent lunch!! I am never disappointed when I eat here!! And theres a full service vegetarian grocery store to boot (La Sierra Natural Market)!!

You don't have to be vegetarian or vegan to LOVE this food! It's fresh, unique and delicious! Whenever we're anywhere near Riverside, we stop to eat at Oasis - we love their variety of options and their protein choices that are out of this world - wish we lived closer, we'd eat there for breakfast AND come back for lunch!

Oh, we absolutely love this place. The people are friendly, the food is amazing and it is nice to find a place where vegans can eat healthy food. There is such a variety of foods that you can definitely fine whatever suits your fancy.

I’ve been going to Oasis for over ten years. The menu has changed over the years but still, they deliver a great quality of selections from their vegan menu. Food is always fresh and delicious which leaves me satisfied in compared to other alternative fast-food choices. Their excellent customer service is always a pleasure to experience. I would like to frequent Oasis more often. However, at their prices, I can only allow myself to eat there once every 2-4 months, maybe even longer. The rational for their prices is due to their “organic” ingredients which to an extent I don’t really care for. Just use the ingredients. In an American society where the number one cause of adult death is heart disease, we should all have the opportunity to eat healthy by having affordable options. It frustrates me to see the vegan community indirectly contribute to our health problems by not making their healthier options accessible to everyone at a cost they can afford. The high costs of eating vegan have been an issue that I personally am disgruntled with. I know that as long as eating healthy comes at high an expense, then society will continue to perpetuate the poor habits in food choices that will ultimately lead to higher rates of comorbidity and death. Eating vegan should be more cost effective than the price of meat. See you next year!

I'm glad that more vegan or vegetarian options are available now than they used to be. This is a great place tucked away in a natural foods market. The carnitas burrito was incredible, juicy and packed with flavors it's big enough for two. The "Brenda" burger was pretty good too lots of mushrooms.

For the true vegan or the person that wants to eat clean and meatless for the the day, this place is a hidden gem. I highly recommend it. Not a place to take a date, but great for a quick snack. The price isn’t cheep but here you really get what you pay for. This is a place to take a person that has never tried a vegetarian diet to show them that meat alternatives can be extremely tasty. Plus I must also say the staff is always great and helpful. Can’t say the same about the attached store.

Everything is delicious, especially their Oasis veggie burger. Best veggie patty I've ever eaten. I am not vegetarian or vegan but I still love the food at Oasis because it is just tasty. Plus their soft burger bun is fantastic. Favorites are their Oasis veggie burger, breakfast burrito, fried plantains, potato wedges, ginger lemon spritzer, and their rice bowl with either Oasis patty or tofu. Red pepper sauce and their hot sauce are a must.

I absolutely love this place. I eat here all the time. I usually get a taco bowl, some taquitos or tamales. They are all so good. The chicken sandwich is also really good. For dessert they have ice cream sandwiches and they have different flavors! They are really awesome. Taco Tuesday is super great too when you don’t want to make dinner on Tuesday!

I ordered a bowl and a young coconut but the coconut was bad it was puple and the water tasted sour. I told the lady if she can give me a new one and she said it was because it was too young and very cold. She refused to get me a new one because almost all of them were like that. She got me a different drink and din't want to refund me the difference. The food is great.

Hole in the wall (literally) cafe on the side of a La Sierra Natural Foods market. Very fresh and clean food with unique flavors. A bit pricey but filling. Food took about 15-20 minutes to come out but there’s an option to order ahead for pick up. It’s a nice spot for unique flavors!

Love this place! Quality food for a decent price!! Everything I have tried has been delicious! Love there burritos with grilled veggies and Jack fruit. Crema or avocado ginger sauce ! I love the red pepper as well you can’t go wrong with any of them and of course their salsa!! Yum!!
