Lived in NYC for 36 years. Moved out to the desert. Wanted to try some banging tacos. El Jr Tacos popped up on google Gave it a shot. It was fresh and delicious Martin and J had the best customer service. Came back twice already in two weeks. Thank you Martin and J!

Some of the best food in Palm Springs! New owners Yamileth and Martin are awesome! Always friendly, patient, and accommodating. Their food is unmatched. The Birria is so tender and flavorful. The Pork is incredible, best I've had in years. Everything I've ordered (at least half the menu) is delicious and plentiful. Portions are definitely worth the price. The authenticity and flavor of street vendors, but you can wait for your order in an air conditioned space.

5 stars ! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ The Consomé is special. Not a single flavor or note missing. The tacos are elite are & the tortilla is exceptionally fresh while the beef is unimaginably succulent. The location is quite convenient & service setup reminds one of a NY fast serve, only much much friendlier :)

This place serves delicious Mexican food!! I've been in the desert for over 17 years and have not found a delicious tasting Mexican restaurant until now!! The owners have great customer service!! Very friendly!! Their prices are also the best! And everything is fresh!! When you order Carne Asada fries, they peel & cut the potatoes right there & then!! Same thing with the nachos!! They cut the tortilla & fry, right there and then. Can't get any fresher than that!! This place is a hidden gem in Palm Springs!! Can't wait to go back again!!

Positive atmosphere. Good vibes. Really good tacos ❤️! The owners are amazing and very kind. I highly recommend this place. I usually add salt and lemon on my tacos but the tacos they serve here…..is not needed. Just the salsa😋

Wow we're talking next level flavor at this place. I love Mexican food and it is my go-to but this place is unreal. The alpastor tacos straight bomber!! The sauces are delicious, and the consomme for the birria tacos is tasty, these guys have the recipes. Be back soon, oh and the prices are good 💯💯💯 they are inside the liquor store🤘🤘🤘

We are in town visiting from NYC and found this place via Google. It did not disappoint!! We ordered two tortas (delicious meat with fresh onions and melted cheese that crisped around the edges as it dropped out of the edges), Asada and Al Pastor plus 3 rolled flautas with beef. The tortas were heavenly and the 4 varieties of sauces add an incredible punch of flavor and spice! The grilled jalapeños that accompanied the tortas were flavorful and delicious. I encourage everyone to try this place!

Don't be put off by this place being located in a liquor store. The food is incredible. The hot sauces are amazing, and the cooks make them all fresh. Huge portions and reasonable prices make it a great value and a place to visit time and again.
