This was a great spot for lunch. The cheesesteak and chicken sandwich were fantastic. The staff was extremely nice and friendly. Great spot to get something quick and on the go. Next time I am in San Diego, I am coming back.

This is a great little place with fantastic food. There are not many options, which is good and I recommend the Italian Stallion. The prices are a little high for sandwiches but good for the gas lamp area. The food will fill you up. The food is also a little bit slow but it's all prepared fresh so it's worth it.

Good tasting cheesesteak. Not as good as a true Philly in philly. Definitely on the high side for price. But that is expected in gas lamp district. If you want fast and easy. This is your place.

I ordered the Lefty’s Cheesesteak. It was really tasty and well served. As a Brazilian, it was the first time I tried a cheesesteak, so I can’t compare to others. The restroom and soda machine was out of work, they need to fix it.

Lefty's Famous Cheesy surpassed my expectations in every aspect. The food was absolutely phenomenal, with flavors that delighted my taste buds. The customer service was exceptional, ensuring a delightful dining experience from the beginning to the end. I am excited to wholeheartedly recommend Lefty's to my friends and family – it's a culinary gem that deserves to be cherished and celebrated.

We ordered a Southpaw and a side of fries and split it between 2 people. It was plenty for us (a man and a woman). It was delicious! The meat was so fresh and hot that it fell through the bottom. But we just picked it up and ate it. The cheese on the sandwich was delicious, and we enjoyed the flaming hot cheetos as a crunchy topping. The fries are amazingly crunchy and delicious! Everything is freshly prepared and delicious. And they have alcohol.

The staff was friendly and I felt like they made my food with genuine care. I’ve been traveling for 2 months and this was the BEST Philly I’ve had surpassing my experience with Cleavers in Philly, PA.
