This place is a great gift to the people that drop by to enjoy what's there. It's not enormous, but big enough to lose yourself in the solitude of the cactus gardens. They have three different garden paths that are separated by the parking area. The main path is accessed directly through the building and what a treat. The other two are more of a nature walk with no real infrastructure. There's even a small art gallery and restaurant too. All of this is very nice and most impressively, free to the public. Parking is limited, which I believe is to keep the visitors to a manageable level. It's not for everyone though. If you're looking for activities or if you have little ones with lots of energy, a cactus garden might not make the most sense even if it's free..

No fee to enter and view the garden area. Very nice place to visit and relax. The film, presented on the half hour, about its history and the family that developed it is very interesting. The generosity and world involvement of the family is inspiring. Has a small cafe and seating to enjoy the grounds. We spent an hour here. Thre are also guided tours available from $25 to $50. There is a nine hole golf course and a 25000 square feet home. The home is open for touring but tickets need to be purchased in advance. Worth visiting.

Excellent out door space with many areas free to the public. Perfectly cared for gardens, displays and memorabilia. Visited in April so many of the aloes and cacti were in bloom. A real treat. They do offer paid tours of the grounds and main house. If not doing the tour, an hour is enough time to walk the grounds. Leave solid walking path accessible to all. Gift shop has many interesting and unique gifts, reasonable pricing. Also there is a small cafe counter and a few tables inside.

This place was truly a beautiful surprise! Absolutely loved this peaceful, stunning property! We saw just a very small part of it, walking around the back garden area of the visitors center. We also viewed a fascinating short film documenting the history of the property and its owners. I can't wait to return! Hopefully, next time we will see the rest of the gardens and the Annenberg's iconic mid century home!

Beautiful gardens and home. If you can’t get a house tour booking online, go early in the morning and sometimes they have standby slots!

We loved Sunnylands center & gardens! Having two littles in tow, we explored this garden when our server at a restaurant recommended it. Manicured lawns and wonderful plant arrangements make this place look so beautiful! The view is breathtaking! It was quiet and peaceful and was a fun place for my 2 year old to run around! We enjoyed going through the labyrinth - which you can do at your own pace. It was super relaxing and fun with great photo ops. Would highly recommend a visit. There was also a cafe and a gift shop, we will probably try that the next time we visit. :)

Every single staff member is kind knowledgeable and nice! When we arrived, it was so calm we were greeted by a sweet young lady at the desk. We went straight to the cafeteria where both ladies were lovely attentive and fast. The process was fast prices were reasonable and delicious. My French press coffee was delicious! My daughter elected a boxed juice that was refreshing. The gardens are pristine! Beautiful areas to sit talk and enjoy a walk. Wear a hat and sunblock. Bring plenty of water. Because you're not going to want to leave. There are so many gardens you just keep going. Our new favorite place.

Gorgeous gardens worth a visit! Free garden and lovely cafe to grab a quick snack or lunch. The tours are worth it too if you have a little extra time.

The first thing you need to do is go into the main building and watch the ten or fifteen-minute video which gives you lots of information about the property, the distinguished visitors, and the original owners of the property. Very interesting! We didn't make reservations, and we were only able to walk around outside through the gardens, which are beautiful. I recommend reservations so you can tour the house or the rest of the property.

We visited the Center, watched the very informative video, and did the Gardens Tour, which goes through the golf course and grounds around the house. We did not do the House Tour itself, as reservations have to be booked pretty far in advance, apparently. If you're interested in US political history, architecture and/or exaggerated fishing stories, this tour is well worth it. We also had a nice lunch at the Center.

We booked the shuttle tour on our friend's recommendation. We had no idea about Sunnylands, but loved the tour and our guide was so helpful and told the story of the Annenber Estate well. The grounds, gardens, house and golf course are amazing. I'd like to return for the house tour. There is a nice gift shop and a cafe. Would highly recommend.

Tours and certain parts of the grounds require a ticket, if you want to go inside the building and see the garden in back it's totally free. Free parking. Very clean and manicured garden mostly with desert friendly plants

A interesting place of history. Hosting President, world leaders, celebrities, and other people of note. I was impressed with the Annenberg's commitment to playing host to help create a relaxed location to promote civil discourse and dialog amounst people. We only visited the visitors center and garden as we only became aware of the venue while we were visiting. There are opportunities to Tours the house and grounds beyond the visitors center but you need to make a reservation one month in advance. Check their website for details as reservation are apperantly released on a specific date and time the month before.

Wonderful place to spend your morning or afternoon. You will learn some very interesting information about this place and its role in the recent U.S. history. You will get a walk in the lovely gardens while learning about cactuses/other plants around you if you download their free app on your phone. You can pay and see the main house, but it requires you to book an excursion (we didn't go). Again, just a very lovely place.

We only did the free walking tour and will definitely be going back for the full paid tour. Beautiful gardens. Make sure and watch the 20 minute movie that airs at the top and bottom of each hour

Anissa concierge, Danielle manager, Caesar security and James gift shop were all absolutely friendly, accommodating and extremely informative! Will definitely be returning with our little ones

Great day activity to do. Beautiful gardens that are well maintained. They do have a cafe there with a fair selection of food options.

Great A. Quincy Jones house. To get inside you’ll want to reserve a tour in advance. Pleasant walking tour around the house and a tram tour are also available. Imagine living there and yet managing to avoid being first against the wall when the revolution comes.

Very well maintained and professionally landscaped facility. Free movie showing the history regarding all the US Presidents that have visited here. Has a cafe and clean bathrooms. Open to the public. Free admission with paid tour options.

A place to go to relax; and if in the mood, appreciate different varieties of dessert plants. Open and free to all. It would be best to visit during the week for much more less people. A small walk around area.

Made a last minute decision to visit as our previous plans fell through. Gotta say, I'm glad they did. The gardens are so beautiful and peaceful. I'll definitely plan ahead this fall when we come back and get tickets for the house tour.

Terrific resort where many world leaders and influential people have meetings! Also I need to check out the house and grounds tour eventually. Free parking, the gardens are awesome, and visitor center is great too.

Beautiful, captivating and a peaceful Garden. Cactus plants are displayed and perfectly aligned . The trees are dreamy and flawless. A magical place to take a quiet walk and enjoy the view at the cafe.

Such an amazing garden and well funded and taking care of grounds. The entrance is free for the gardens but if you want to see the house you need to make reservations online a month in advance. There is a small gift shop, a nice cafe. The display of cactus are amazing. There is a short movie that tells the history and the importance of its role in modern US history. Also showcase the Annenbergs involvement with US and foreign politics. There is also a display of the china that has been used while hosting different dignitaries.

The grounds are beautiful and free to walk through. The Cafe has super food. To tour the residence and a few other locations you'll have to make reservations. I did the free bird walk, a great leader and knowledgeable.

Beautiful gardens. Came to walk their labyrinth and was delighted about the people walking it, however many people referred to it as a maze and chatted the whole time. Beautiful labyrinth!!

Take a tour (make reservations), did the walking tour & highly recommend. Will return to take the house tour. The cafe looked good enough for a destination lunch, had a coffee and enjoyed the peaceful view/landscape
