Having been a patron for over a decade, I can easily say that this is my favorite Indian cuisine in the South Bay. The food is always amazing (quality, taste, portions, value, variety), the staff friendly and attentive, and Addi loves his clientele. Seriously, this place is a staple and you must come visit. We always get the same thing: chicken Tikka masala, shrimp masala, aloo Gobi extra spicy with garlic naan and rice. We love this place!

Amazing food!!! I ordered the chicken curry and Paneer Makni and both were very tasty! The restaurant itself is beautiful and the staff was super nice! If you’re craving Indian food, I highly recommend this place!

We went with family to enjoy some Indian food but it was a great disappointment. The major issue was the food. Nothing is good. No taste or flavour or spices. Chicken biryani was like some first timer entered into kitchen and tried something. Horrible food ever had. I would never go again or even recommend this place. Also, we were 6 of us and they made us sit with just one table. With all the food, utensils, side plates, curry dishes, everything was a mess. Indians expect Indian flavours and taste. Not any trash and name it Indian food. Honestly, every minute we regretted and bill was super expensive too. 😒

This is my favorite restaurant of all time. The food is incredible - fresh and high quality! We get enough to have two more nights of leftovers. Addi, the owner, is such a sweet guy and always greets us like ild friends. The service is great, the ambiance is cozy and romantic. They have wonderful wine, beer, and other beverages. Our usual order is Chicken Tikka Masala, Shrimp Masala, Aloogobi, Garlic Naan, and Rice. The best part about this restaurant is that when you ask for extra extra spicy, they deliver! The food is spicy like we love, but without compromising the incredible flavor. Best Indian cuisine in LA!

Excellent food . Most likely the best Indian food I had in a while . From Western Indian state Goa. Everything was delicious service was very friendly and helpful. We showed up on Sunday as it openned at 5 by 7 was very busy and full. Seems that a lot of people share my views on this place.

We wanted to like it. Ordered the garlic naan, eggplant dish, mango lassi and saag paneer. The mango lassi was good and so was the eggplant dish. But the naan, saag paneer and the rice that comes with it had NO flavor. It was kind of disappointing but more than that... weird? We’ve never had saag paneer that was bland. Or rice that tasted like nothing. Hope they improve soon because we want to try them again and leave a better review.

Simple, well-balanced and to-the-point Indian cuisine. Highly recommend the Curry Chicken. Just the right amount of coconut and overall, perfectly spiced. New favorite spot.

Sooo different from the original Addis Tandoori! Ordered nan terrible, chicken sagg not the same flavorful chicken and the same chicken tiki Marsala. Everything cheaper but that’s what you taste. No flavor. So sad.

I went there for the first time in a while. I was so happy that food was delicious as usual.

One of the most pleasant and great dining experiences I've had the staff goes out of their way to ensure you have a great experience with Indian food, they actually ask how much heat you want. And it was my Birthday and they brought me a carrot pudding at the finish of my fine Tandoori chicken meal, and I would go back just to order this hot rich caramely dessert, fabulous restaurant, I definitely will eat there again, but next time I would order a little differently, my mom and I both had Tandoori chicken, next time we would share it and order some of their vegetable dishes to share, it is a sharing place. The prices are a bit high but totally worth it.

BEST Indian food in the South Bay! Whenever I'm visiting home in Redondo Beach I have to stop here... getting take-out for the last year but I came to dine in tonight and I always over order because their food is so good! Addi is super friendly and personable. Love this place!

Excellent food that is served piping hot! Service could be better, but being served hot food is more important to me! Love their Lamb dishes! You should try the Mysore Aloo (Potato) Samosas! Yummy!!

Delicious.. we shared chicken, lamb and shrimp. Spinach with chickpeas was scrumptious. We ordered ala-care so the 4 of us could share. We will be back.

I've always had a great meal here. Best way is at least 4 or 5 people and order 3 dishes family style. Excellent spot for just 2 also. Recommend reservations because it is a small place. Decent wine and beer selection.

Great restaurant. We usually get takeout as we live nearby. Their dishes are a tad more expensive than some other restaurants but they are rich and very filling so you get your money's worth. Once a week we usually get Lamb Saag medium spicy (so delicious) and Chicken Curry extra spicy (nice and hot). Those two dishes feed 2 of us for two meals each. Can't go wrong with this place, the quality is always good.

Excellent Indian food. Under a new name, but this is still Zagat rated Addis Tandoor. Same owners, same great food. Come hungry, and leave full. I need to branch out more on their menu, but I can recommend the Chicken Tikka, Chicken Tikka Masala, Tandoori Chicken, Saag Paneer, Butter Chicken, Garlic Naan, Papadum, and their Vegetable Samosas. All well done. The only caveat I would forewarn: they will ask you how spicy you want it. If you say NOT spicy, it's not going to have a lot of the great flavors that come with a reasonable level of spice. So I recommend you let them make it how it's supposed to be so you can really get all the great flavors.

  • 5/5 Nadia E. 2 years ago on Google
The best tikka masala I have had. The chicken was fresh and cooked perfectly, the spice was just enough for me. Naan bread was also delicious. I will be coming back.

Exceptional service. Authentic Indian food. Great chef who knows the cooking and hospitality. Great value

  • 5/5 David K. 2 years ago on Google
We happened in at a quiet non-busy time so we got all the attention we needed. The food was excellent, every dish seemed perfect whether lamb or chicken or vegetable. My kids like it really spicy which is sometimes a little more than I can handle, but there was plenty of platters to choose from so I had my fill as well. Definitely a place I would like to return to - maybe without the spicey kids!

Food was fantastic. Both the flavor and the quality, Probably the best Indian food I've ever had. Service was spectacular too. The manager came over to see how everything was going and the server came over at least a few times as well. I highly recommend this place to anybody that enjoys Indian food.

We've been going here for 10+ years and were disappointed only once, and that was right in the middle of the pandemic when they were struggling to stay afloat. Otherwise, it has been great. Great food, good ambience, friendly staff. Recommended.

Worst foods ever!! The biryani seems to mix of chicken grevy with rotten rice, decorated with red chilli powder. Not worth it, yet too much expensive. Moreover, there is no complementary Raita or salan with the biryani. Apart from that, the tandoori chicken was so horrible. It was cold and hard wood like meat. Lastly, the waiter was not good. Mostly unprofessional. He should know how to deal with customers properly. I do not recommend this pathetic restaurant.

This is been our favorite Indian restaurant for over a decade, both in this incarnation, and previously when it was Addi's Tandoor. The food is wonderful, the servers are kind and prompt, and the atmosphere is very calm and peaceful. Highly recommended.

First timer here and my first impression was their warm and friendly service. Food was excellent as well. Must-order dishes are Chicken samosas and Chicken Tikka Masala. The best I've ever had so far!! Will definitely go back there again.

Great food, service and consistency is admirable at this place. I just had dinner at this place yesterday with my coworker and it took me back 10 years ago when I last tried this place. I think this is one of the best Indian restaurants in SoCal.

Convenient spot right by the ocean for quick access to delicious Indian food. The samosas are flavorful and flaky. The naans are huge and great for sharing. The Malai Kofta is creamy, Mutter Paneer is well cooked, and the chicken is seasoned very good. Medium spicy was a good level. Highly recommend for great Indian food and sharing with a group!

  • 5/5 Nishith M. 6 months ago on Google
One of the few Indian places that we've consistently liked for 18 years. Addi's has managed to maintain the quality of their service and food for so long. 2023: I came back to add that it is still as good. The helping size is very decent. More than a person can finish by themselves. Best to eat family style. The entrees come with rice, but we always end up ordering breads and take leftover rice home.

Delicious food. Good ambiance. The staff are attentive and friendly. We have ordered rotis ,paneer curry , mixed vegetable curry and samosas. And also made a request to not to add onions and garlic. They made the way we requested. The service was quick. Would definitely recommend this restaurant .?

North Indian dishes are good, but I will never order Biryani here again.its a Pulav not a Biryani.. ..Both look and taste are poor

This is my absolutely #1 Indian restaurant in LA!! The food is so flavorful and just simply amazing. The owners are really wonderful people, I am so glad they are still open during Covid19! My favorites are the saag paneer (medium spice), chicken curry (medium spice), and chicken tikka masala (medium spice)! Medium is not too spicy, so if you prefer spicy, I would go for hot! So excited I get to continue to support them during these tough times for all small business restaurants!

Best India food ever the chicken saag is the best dish. When you get the food you should get extras because it is very good left over. Highly recommend.

I enjoyed a nice dinner at Addi’s Tandoor, although not the best Indian food I have had it was a good meal. My favorite part of Indian food is breakfast the next day, I usually use the leftovers to make an omelette, the curry sauce from Addi’s made and excellent breakfast! I will stop by for another meal next time I crave Indian food.

Cozy small restaurant. I recommend getting a reservation since it can get packed for dinner time. We got 2 dishes for 3 people and it worked out great! The nice lady who runs the place made sure we were properly taken care of.
