Items Reviewed: *We got special event sample sizes* Their Avocado Tostada (with avocado, red pickled onions, beans, & Queso fresco $4.98). STAMP!! Crispy, & thick well seasoned Guac!! Their Esquites (corn with cotija cheese, Tajin, & creama $4.98). STAMP!! Creamy with a zing, with delicious charred corn!! Their Chips & Guac (with house made chips, Pico de Gallo, & Guac $13). LIKE THAT!! The Guac is STAMPED, the chips were tasty!! Their Drinks; The Mezcal Mule (Mezcal, Ginger beer, & lime $13.98). STAMP!! I didn’t even taste the alcohol in this!! The Sandía Santa (Tequila, watermelon, & lime $13.98). STAMP!! Again…it was liquor in this but it didn’t burn!! FRESHLY pressed…GET THIS!! Their Virgin Agua Fresca Sandia (Watermelon juice $3.98). STAMP!! So refreshing, not sugary, & palate cleansing!! Their Al Pastor Taco (marinated pork with pineapple, & onions $4.98). DECENT!! Hearty, with sweet pineapple, but I needed more marinated seasoning. Their Baja Crispy Fish Tacos (Beer battered Cod, red cabbage, cilantro, & creama $4.98). STAMP!! The BEST fried fish tacos I’ve had!! Nicely crisp, thick fish, & well seasoned!! Their Carne Asada Quesadilla (with steak, & cheese $9.98). DELICIOUS!! Tasty, just needed some crema on this or something!! . Customer Service: On Point, but I was at an event! Of course it would be on point!! I was pleasantly surprised to find a postcard attached to the takeaway bag, and there was also one inside. I personally really like postcards, so it was a delightful surprise when I received my takeaway. I hope the restaurant will release merchandise in the future, I will definitely buy some. The restaurant is very clean and has a great design aesthetic. I really like the pineapple logo, it gives a vacation vibe. The staff members were all very friendly, 100 out of 5!

I had the pleasure of trying EVERYTHING on the menu, and each bite was a flavor explosion. I started with the esquite, a corn cup topped with mayonnaise, cheese, lime juice, and chili powder. It was a delicious and satisfying appetizer that set the stage for the rest of the meal. The avocado tostada was a standout with its rich and flavorful guacamole. It was perfectly balanced with lime. The birria tacos were bursting with flavor. What made them even better was the consommé dip, elevating the tacos to a whole new level of deliciousness. The tacos al pastor, with their tender meat and the sweetness of pineapple, were simply amazing. They offered a perfect blend of savory and sweet. To complement the meal, I tried the agua de sandia (watermelon juice), which was nothing short of amazing. The watermelon slice was a nice touch. I must also commend the servers who were amazing throughout the evening. They kept the food coming, ensuring that our dining experience was seamless and enjoyable.

Tacombi @ Bethesda is a fantastic place! The food is amazing. I believe we tried every single taco from the menu. Taco Gobernador and Taco Al Pastor are 🔝 (although it’s really difficult to choose the best ones). Service is amazing! Very friendly, attentive, and careful people. 5 stars, and will definitely come back again!

Great food, service and atmosphere. The fried fish and birria tacos were especially good as were the guacamole and corn. It was all super fresh and tasty.

I loved this place in NY and I'm so glad it's made it's way to the DMV! We went out of our way to Bethesda just to eat here, and were honestly pleasantly surprised by the neighborhood. Will definitely be back!

Consistency is key. I’m glad to report that Tacombi has some of the yummiest authentic Mexican food in the DMV. I consistently visit the Arlington, VA location and was curious to see if the Bethesda, MD establishment could replica the flavors that I have been accustomed too. And I’m so glad that the esquites and the avocado tostadas (my favs) tasted the exactly how my tastebuds recalled. 😁

Delicious hidden Taco place! (W. Little expensive prices) I went during lunch time and lot of seats were available. Heard that they also have happy hours which is probably when most of the people and this place will be FULL. I got Fish Tacos, carne asada taco - FISH tacos are a must get! Must be one of the best fish tacos that I tried in DMV area. Also recommend chips and guac as well 🥑
