This has easily become my favorite pizza spot! Ever since I moved here from NYC I’ve been searching for my go to spot and I’m so thankful I came across Gino’s. I drive from Hampton to get this amazing pizza, and the pepperoni roll and Gino sticks are the absolute best!! Keep up the great work!

Fantastic. Enough said. We decided to try on a whim. We were out for a bite with no plan. Spotted Gino's, looked at reviews, made the call to go in and try. Decided to make our own. That was one of the best pizzas we have had. The hand tossed crust was light and airy and the toppings fresh. We started with the anti pasta salad. The waitress was friendly and made us feel more than welcome. We We WILL go back.

After browsing nearby options, we decided on Gino's based on pictures and reviews and we're so glad we did. Pizza was amazing, tons of toppings and fairly priced. Chef salad was huge and lots of toppings, homemade Italian was delicious. Fair amount of parking, it's a small shop. Some outdoor and indoor seating. Small bar available. Vast menu, again great pricing. Staff was friendly and efficient. Next time we're in Portsmouth we will absolutely stop in again and try some other things. Check them out! Local businesses like this deserve to thrive.

Came for 2 slices of cheese pizza. Tells me I get a soda for $6.??? I didn’t want the soda, he urges me to take it cause it’s free. Slices are $2.25 a piece and the special is $4.99 with soda if you pay cash, yet he quoted me over $6 (I paid in cash). Upon receiving my pizza, I asked if I could a fresh one and his response was it’s fresh. I know a reheated pizza when I see one. Parts of the pizza is cold so if this is fresh that’s outrageous. Cheese stiff as could be no pull at all. I’m still standing there and he moves on to the next customer, I won’t be back. Horrendous customer service and food quality is poor.

Literally the worst Italian food I ever had in my life, how can you mess up spaghetti and meatballs?? It tastes like dollar store food And ordered a Philly cheesesteak, tell me why they have sweet banana peppers on top!? Never ever ever ordering here or suggest anyone to. Oh I can’t forget it took almost AN HOUR for our food for 2 people , I took 2 bites absolutely disgusting

I really enjoy going to small businesses! However, this one was my first time going to Gino’s pizzeria and it was a terrible experience. We had got there around 3:30ish, we just ordered a slice of pizza and garlic knots, an Philly cheese steak and then a calzone to go! I got my food right away and we were waiting on my friend’s slice of pizza& my calzone to go. Almost an hour went by, there was no one in the store, my friend walked to the back and tried to holler for someone and there was so response. We just wanted to get our food to go at this point because I had class later this evening and that’s why we came so early. Still time goes by and no one’s come out. It’s after 5 pm by this point. Someone finally comes out and we asked about our food and the guy said she didn’t order a slice of pizza? When she did… so she didn’t get to eat and we had to leave, and on top of that the food wasn’t good… I would not come here again. It was $41 for food and terrible service that wasn’t worth it in my opinion. Try another pizza place!

Nice staff and pretty good pizza. Overall better than some not the best. I can recommend them for pizza and spaghetti and meatballs and suggest giving them a try. I’ve ordered from Ginos about 8-10 times since moving to Portsmouth this summer and have been more satisfied than not. The pizza is pretty solid with great cheese and sauce but the crust lacks flavor, it doesn’t taste like they do a cold ferment on the dough but otherwise it reminds me of my summers in NY with my dad. In fact if the crust had flavor Ginos would have been tied at #1 with Primo pizza for best NYC pizza in Hampton roads. We have also ordered spaghetti and meatballs, tiramisu(pretty good a lil small), and a couple of salads. The spaghetti and meatballs was on point and absolutely delicious. As for the salads our first time ordering the chef salad my girlfriend said it was perfect the second time we ordered it it came with roast beef which it didn’t have the time before and the roast beef was spoiled. This naturally put us off from ordering for a while until today, unfortunately they called to let me know about 40mins after I placed my order on slice they were short and had no delivery driver and I had no way of getting up there no so no pizza to review today.

Excellent customer service. The young lady who took my daughter’s order was very patient while my daughter figured out what she wanted. The pepperoni roll was really good.

My husband called with a simple question about what kind of flour they use in their pizza & was hung up on. I have an extreme allergy to benzoyl peroxide which is used in bleached flour so I can’t eat pizza from most places. We’re kind of new to the area & are calling around to different pizza joints to see what kind of flour they use. All the guy had to do was check the ingredients on the bag. The first ingredient will say either bleached or unbleached flour. It’s very disappointing & extremely rude to hang up on prospective customers for asking a simple question.
