If you're going to pay nightly rates, look elsewhere, even if you have to pay double. This place is only an option if you need to stay long enough to pay weekly rates. Thank God my stay was short term, unlike a lot of the "residents" there. Of course, there are the roaches. Housekeeping messed with my things, someone used my moisturizer!!! I still don't know what housekeeping did, check the smoke alarm & a/c filter? Staff is rude. The long term residents fight & have drama. Don't leave your laundry unattended, either. This is not a safe place. This is a last resort.

Roaches are really bad. They just walk into your apt like they live there. The front desk peopld are rude as heck. The rooms are disgusting. I tried cleaning our apt and i just cant seem to get all the dirt up. Stains on the walls. Shower has mushrooms growing in it. Hookers and meth heads. The list could go on forever.

Rude mean staff. Roaches. The workers just sit around and smoke cigarettes. The cleaning ladies and the staff are thieves. They will steal anything while you're staying there.

Helped a friend move out after he lived inside for 1 day, bed bug infested and smells horrible. He also asked for a refund and they didn’t give it to him. Just a heads up to anyone thinking the price is great the bugs aren’t worth it.

Here's something you may not know about the OU Motel: the City of Norman is tearing it down so that some company called Subtext can built LUXURY housing called "Verve" for students--as if they don't already have enough luxury housing in this town already! If you're living at the OU Motel now, you won't get to stay there long. Sean Rieger, who is a lawyer representing Subtext, has given very few details about the timeline except to say they will begin construction of "Verve" in 2024. Subtext has been around since 2014, which makes me think some of the negative reviews here were invented in order to keep potential tenants away. "Rude staff and roaches" don't seem to exist for every tenant. If you have legal counsel, have them look into Subtext and Sean Rieger. Something stinks here, and it's not the OU Motel. It's the smell of money.

If I could give this zero stars, I totally would this place has roaches bedbugs. It’s nasty and only drug attic’s, and homeless stay there I do not recommend if you asked me it should be condemned.

This place is a dump. I was going to rent a room for a week they ran my card wrong and it got denied x2 for a total of 500.00 I finally git my money back.

From what I've heard about this place in the past, the management was much better than I expected. They were nice and fulfilled every work order request I sent. That said, it's still a smoker's paradise, and I wouldn't recommend staying here more than a week, because the smells do stick to you and your stuff.

Do not stay here, there are bedbugs and roaches in every room. The housekeepers are on meth. They kicked me out even though I paid my pet deposit. They are running a criminal operation here. The owner all the way down to the staff are rude, inconsiderate, and unethical. Went a full week of 100 degree weather with no ac because the owner was too cheap to repair. I also lived there three months and they made not one attempt to fix the non working refrigerator in my room.

This place doesn't look clean but looks are definitely deceiving. The room we stayed in was clean with no sign of pests like roaches or bedbugs. It's convenient to Walmart and the University of Oklahoma. My only complaint was there was no table or chairs in the room so there was nowhere to put my laptop.

This hotel was the worst hotel I've ever stayed in there was no water pressure the TV didn't work there was bugs that kept pinching us and the staff was absolutely the rudest. Needless to say I would never stay in this bug infested motel again if my life depended on it
