I
believe
if
I
don’t
have
anything
good
to
say,
then
say
nothing
at
all.
But
even
with
the
current
stresses
of
the
pressure
put
onto
the
nurses
and
staff
in
the
medical
field,
there
is
no
excuse
for
rudeness.
If
I
could
give
the
St.
Anthony’s
Bone
and
Joint
Hospital
a
negative
rating,
I
would,
in
hopes
that
no
one
experiences
what
I
went
through.
Although
I
truly
doubt
that
the
rudeness
and
unprofessionalism
that
I
saw
just
happened
during
my
stay.
I’m
sure
it’s
almost
their
daily
practice.
First
of
all,
over
several
shift
changes,
every
time
you
hit
your
call
button
for
help,
the
nurse
would
ask
what
I
wanted.
I
would
tell
her
and
she
would
immediately
hang
up.
I
never
knew
if
they
were
going
to
send
someone,
or
not.
They
even
did
this
to
one
of
my
night
nurses
and
she
was
even
surprised.
I
had
two
amazing
female
night
nurses,
but
the
one
male
nurse
obviously
thought
he
was
my
doctor
rather
than
the
night
nurse
which
can
only
follow
the
doctors
orders.
First
he
said
my
doctor
didn’t
send
over
any
post
op
orders
so
he
wanted
to
get
me
up
to
walk
and
remove
the
catheter
immediately
upon
my
arrival
that
evening
after
being
in
surgery
all
afternoon.
My
husband
stopped
him
and
said
I
had
been
through
enough
that
day.
After
my
husband
left,
and
I
picked
up
my
phone,
the
nurse
ordered
me
to
put
my
phone
up.
Then
when
I
asked
for
a
Diet
Coke,
he
told
me
I
didn’t
need
it
and
refused
to
get
me
one.
These
were
simple
things
but
he
was
rude
and
he
was
not
my
doctor!
When
I
said
something
to
the
assisting
nurse,
he
brought
in
an
ice
pack
for
my
back.
As
he
positioned
the
ice
pack
on
my
back,
he
locked
my
bed
in
the
upright
position
so
I
had
to
sleep
sitting
up
all
night.
None
of
the
nurses
knew
how
to
unlock
the
bed,
but
sent
the
male
nurse
back
into
unlock
it.
He
unlocked
it
while
denying
the
whole
time
that
he
knew
how
it
would
have
gotten
locked.
He
knew
very
well
he
locked
the
bed,
but
just
tried
to
deny
it.
Later,
when
he
was
in
my
room,
I
turned
around
to
him
with
his
phone
pointed
in
my
face.
I
think
he
took
my
picture,
but
when
I
asked
what
he
was
doing,
he
said
he
was
showing
me
a
picture
of
his
dogs.
He
was
off
work
for
a
few
days
so
I
didn’t
have
to
deal
with
him,
only
the
call
button
nurse
hanging
up
on
me
every
time
I
called
for
assistance.
The
male
nurse
was
back
on
duty
the
morning
I
was
released
from
the
hospital.
I
had
complained
to
the
director
of
nursing
and
obviously
the
male
nurse
was
quite
aware,
and
carried
a
lot
of
weight
over
the
nurses
on
duty.
That
morning
I
was
getting
released,
I
could
not
get
anyone
to
come
help
me.
I
had
to
wait
for
my
husband
to
arrive
to
help
me
get
up
and
to
help
me
get
dressed
to
leave.
Sadly,
it’s
bad
that
one
nurse
can
make
a
patients
stay
so
miserable
and
his
rudeness
carries
such
a
weight
over
the
nurses
working
with
him
that
they
go
along
along
with
his
rudeness.
I
truly
believe
they
went
along
with
his
rudeness
for
fear
of
retaliation
from
him.
Exactly
like
the
rudeness
of
all
of
the
call
button
nurses.
Each
nurse
would
hang
up
on
you
over
several
shift
changes,
so
it
wasn’t
just
one
call
nurse,
it
was
several
different
ones.
Each
call
nurse
over
my
stay,
would
just
hang
up
without
acknowledging
my
request.
I
love
the
doctor
that
performed
my
back
surgery,
but
I
find
it
sad
that
he’s
affiliated
with
the
St.
Anthony’s
Bone
and
Joint
Hospital.
It
only
hurts
his
practice
because
I
will
never
allow
to
be
sent
to
this
hospital
again.
