I don’t like to leave pizza reviews since people have different taste in pizza. But I think this place deserves a review since they make what you ask for. Sunday Oct 17th 8 PM. We called and ordered a thin crust pizza, will done. I know for sure that it’s not that easy to get a thin crust right, and get the pie crispy without burning it. But they did it right, it was one of the best pizzas I’ve ever had in my life, and trust me, I try every pizza place when I go anywhere. Yes the sauce is sweet, but not extra sweet, it’s the right balance, specially that tomato sauce loses it’s sweetness when cooked. Very well done Franzone’s, and thank you for listening and make a pizza exactly how I ordered it. Thin and well done!

I stopped in for a bite to eat being I had not eaten all day It's not the 1st time that I've been to Franzone's It's really a treat for me whenever I'm in the vicinity it's truly the original flavor sauce and unique taste that I love no matter whether Im popping in for a quick take out eat on the go or I decide to sit down and eat It's a nice easy casual environment and cool place to do so and needless to say the pizza is absolutely delicious and my favorite menu Item......

I placed a large catering order for a doctors office (staffed with over 40 people) only one day in advance, and they absolutely crushed it! Placing the order was seamless and smooth in comparison to many other catering orders I’ve placed. The food was AMAZING, the order was organized, timely, and didn’t miss a single thing. Highly recommend !!

Food is incredible. Best pizza ever. Place is a little dirty, could use a good cleaning. But the pizza is easily the best I've ever had.

Voted best blue collar pizza place. Well deserved. Watch out at night though because sometimes there are young kids working and making the pizzas and they do a terrible job. Daytime is best.

Absolutely love this place service quick friendly and delicious. Has great pizza and food. Has beer and beverages. Great place to stop by if you want it quick slice of pizza or to take the whole family.

These people do not wash their hands seriously someone is going to get sick from this food. I've been standing in here watching these people no one wash their hands at all after grabbing raw meat and cutting Cheesesteak rolls after that period the same person that's collecting the money is using his hands to put on the raw meat. Someone has to tell these people or stop these people from what they are doing.

I've only been here one time I got a cheeseburger and fries. I dined in not bad for a pizza joint. They had a television there so you can watch the game. Pizza seems very popular. The waitress was very friendly and punctual. I got a super Burger deluxe. Which was a double cheeseburger with lettuce tomatoes and fries. I couldn't believe the amount of food that I got for the price. I have no complaints.

The main reason for my 5 star is the value for food and service. I only had some pizza slices which outside of the slightly sweet tomato sauce were great 😃👍. Nice crust with a little bit of crisp. The waiter was pleasant as well. Happy I came just before it started to get crowded. In terms of price there are many things on the menu including being able to get a slice of pizza(plain) and a soda for around or just under $5.

Cheese steak was fatty, fries were meh and Caesar salad had huge pieces of unchopped lettuce. Food tastes like they don’t care. Not to mention the place is filthy.

I am almost sad that I can’t help but love this pizza because of how much disregard they have towards their customers when it comes to being open. Every single platform out there including their own website says they are open until 11 everyday but they actually close at 9. I wouldn’t be so upset about this if they even seemed the least bit concerned when I called them about it. They could just invest in a $20 answering machine so when you call there, you know their new hours but they don’t think that it’s very important. Mostly what IM MAD ABOUT is the fact that the day after driving there for no reason going off of the hours they posted on their website, they stopped answering their phone at 8:20 to take orders when they close at 9pm. I drove there again and got there at 8:40 because I didn’t think there was even a little possibility of them closing that much earlier than they say they are supposed to close. But when I got there the person behind the counter said that they already shut everything off and no one was there to cook anyway. I guess they just always have something better to do than actually serve their customers.

My wife and a stopped in and grabbed a few cheesesteaks on our way to KOP. Not bad, good portion size, nice roll, good flavor would definitely stop again when in the area.

I brag about this pizza shop a lot. I took my Mom there yesterday May 14th 2023 for Mother's Day. I was having a cheat day as I'm not allowed any of this type of food. The slice of pizza we both had was amazing. The fries were amazing as well. My Mom had the seafood platter comes with fries and cole slaw we had to ask the waitress for a fork and knife for my Mom to eat it as well as a plate. Then she didn't bring the cole slaw so had to ask for it she seemed upset and it was not cut small enough. Now onto my order. I ordered the baked ziti had to keep repeating my order to her 5xs until I finally pointed to it on the menu when she bought it to me it was not baked and no fork to eat it with so I ask for one she tells me she bought a fork I said for my Mom not me she said oh I get it. I ate my fries and bought the ziti home because I was going to bake it myself but decided to throw it out. Mind you it has 2 kinds on the menu Ziti and Baked Ziti and two different prices wish I could show the pictures. Then we ordered dessert my Mom got the cheese cake waitress gave her a plastic spoon to eat it and it was frozen. I ordered ice-cream chocolate and strawberry she brings it in a styrofoam cup I couldn't eat both kinds at the same time. My Mom and I laughed about it and my Mom still had a great day. I was not satisfied with the service she was very unprofessional. I also just noticed I was cha fee for getting the service from this waitress that didn't do a service good

Tasty pizza. The pizzeria has a real charm to it. I can totally see myself popping in here after a late night out. I ordered a white buffalo chicken pizza and calamari. Pizza was delicious. The dough is soft and pillowy, not overly crispy and the sauce had a good flavor of garlic. Will definitely go back in the future to try their other pizzas. The only reason I'm taking away a star is that the calamari wasn't great. It was mostly batter. Almost didn't taste like calamari.

I was thrilled with the service I received today at Franzone's Bridgeport. I had a large cheese pizza and breaded wings(by recommendation), super delicious! I also picked up a 2 liter coke and 2 bags of chips. It would have been a juggling act, but they insisted on helping me to my car as well, which despite my stubbornness I was ultimately very grateful for! 5 stars, thank you so much! <3

Ás always never a bad pizza! For at least the last 30 years I have enjoyed this amazing pizza and family. My children's birthday parties and now that I moved away stopping in when going anywhere near Bridgeport! I large pizza lightly well done. The original old school crew Anna and Fred(RIP) were always my favorites 🥰

Hands-down my favorite pizza. The sweet sauce is amazing and the ratio of cheese to sauce is just perfect every time. Every time I'm in town I make sure I hit this spot. Oh, and their hot wings are delicious too. 10/10 would recommend.

I really like the pizza here. The sauce is on the sweeter side, the crust is delicious, and they use a perfect ratio of sauce to cheese. This has to be one of my favorite local places to eat pizza. I have had both take out and dine in - its best to eat it when its hot. The wings and salads here are okay but the pizza is great. I recommend getting a plain or pepperoni pie. I got a chicken parm one recently but there was not much chicken on it. I think that they do the classics really well. When I want a plain or pepperoni pie - i will order it from here.

First time trying Franzones and it was great. We are regulars of Little Sicily in Bridgeport but a friend recommended Franzones. We picked up a couple pizza while we were out that way. The pizzas were really good. Plenty of cheese which was delicious. Their mushrooms tasted fresh snd they were under the cheese. Overall it was a really good pizza. We will 100% be back.

So, the big sign isn't up outside any more...but it makes it seem like a secret place - that or we went in the back door. Anyways, this place is really good and really unique! The sweet sauce on the pizza is definitely different, but good. We ordered two pepperoni pizzas to share between two adults and 6 kids - it was more than enough. We also ordered a cheesesteak and fries with gravy (added mozzarella to make poutine) which were also both excellent. What pushed thia place over the top for me was it's drink selection (its like a big mini bar in the chillers up front!) and the fact that when our youngest spilled an entire soda on the table and we started cleaning it up, the waitress was calm, helped us out, and reassured her that it was okay. And she was their only waitress that day AND slam-packed busy!
