Although entrance had trash on the floor. The hike was very clean looking I went 3 times so far at different times the earlier the better If you don't want to run in to people. If you go closer to afternoon the bugs are out and about nice walk for your leashed dogs. Elevation varies which is a great work out trails are clearly marked. There's bird sanctuary. That has a bench right next to river so you can take a quick rest. You can see beaver population here is also alive and well saw some dams its great place to get fresh air and get in a good walk

What a treat to have a quiet little park to enjoy a walk near Lawrence. There are also some nice views from the top of Den Rock.

A really cool place to walk, with lots of different trails to choose from - whether you prefer something more challenging or something more family friendly. And there's a big rock at the top of the hill called Den Rock! Definitely worth the climb for the views.

Great place to walk without going far. Nice and hilly and very good trails. Attached to Shawsheen Bird Sanctuary. Parking lot on rt 114 was very good.

A small amount of hiking and trails around Den rock. The rock structure is pretty large and you can climb to the top of it . Along my walk I saw a few beaver dams one of them was massive. I also saw a barred owl while I was there.

Really loved this place. Went for a sunset walk during the winter, and it was a great one. Very easy hike, nice views, and honestly a great outdoorsy thing to do, even during the brutal winter. Best thing I loved about the place was that it free of cost and not limited to just residents of Lawrence! PS: parking space is available at the trailhead. Trailhead is also opposite to a plaza with food places, in case you're snacky after the hike.

A surprisingly diverse park that surely has special beauty in all seasons. I appreciated the labyrinth of trails with consistent paint splash markings. There are a number of attractive features including a massive granite rock face that towers over the trail. I was also drawn to the giant beaver dam in an expansive marsh, a lazy stretch of the Shawsheen River along the Blue trail and a dark swamp on the back side of the park. It's a great place for dog walking as well as biking and rock climbing.

Right off a busy road with parking lot. The signs says there may be some climbing there, but i didn't explore, the trail was too rocky for my open toe sandals.

Always a pleasant walk any time of year. With the arrival of spring, all that was gray and brown starts to get pushed up and aside as new life pops up everywhere. Some like to power walk through here. I prefer to walk slowly taking in the fecundity and budding beauty.

Visited for the first time today. What a lovely place. There are different trails, very well marked. Clean and easy to follow. Sadly, because of the recent storm, there are tons of fallen trees blocking the trails however, i think it makes it more interesting. It was nice, serene and quiet. All i could hear were the birds. It was a good hike! Definitely recommend!.

Has playground equipment for kids, nice walking trails close to the river with spots to fish from if you desire.

I enjoyed this park. The trails are clearly marked with paint or ribbon, very primitive. The water is very serene in the snow.

Nice wooded park where we can do some small treks and there are few spots as well for rock climbing.

Nice park for a walk with a furry family member and as someone else said be a bit careful because some folks don't care about anyone else and dump their trash like Broken glass.

Great rock climbing. I'd you intend to climb in the cave don't go after it has recently rained. The cave stays wet for a long time

This place is a great little escape nestled back off of 114 in Lawrence. It has some great trails and is larger than you might think a park in a city might be. Odd fact about the park; it was originally land purchased to make a cemetery.

Really cool place just be careful if you take dogs because there is broken glass on some of the trails.
