Came here for a nice walking adventure and to see some of the fall colors. There's a cute little bridge with the river running by. Nothing big and fance, but cute to walk around for a bit at. Lots of open spaces for large gatherings, too

Beautiful. There are turtles, egrets and blue herons set against large trees and islands. There's a beautiful little bridge over the East branch of the DuPage River

Beautiful campground, picnic and hiking spot. There are lots of picnic tables and shelters, plus a big bonfire pit. A nice bridge connects to an island you can explore. Great nature spot to take the kids or pets or a date!

Not the biggest forest preserve in the area but very beautiful during winter. I cant wait what it looks like during summer. A couple of beaver dams are present. If you are patient enough you will see beavers. Many bird species to.watch. There are picnic areas set up.

A short trail, but well kept and clean. The scenery and picnic areas have potential to be a nice spot to relax and spend quality time with loved ones and friends.

Interesting area. Divided by a busy road with no crosswalks to connect the path from one side to the other. Can hear the traffic from the expressway and surrounding roads throughout even when the trees are full of leaves. Green space is great but I wish they had a footbridge or crosswalk over Geneva road to connect the paths. Wear bug spray, stay on the paths, check for ticks, and enjoy the nature.

Great free forest preserve with shaded walking trails, water to fish in and natural wetland scenery. Lots of wildlife here like beavers and cranes. Great place for children. Plenty of picnic benches scattered about as well as a covered picnic pavilion. Great place for small to medium sized outdoor gatherings.

Beautiful park with a really cool small island to explore accessible via bridge. Perfect for a picnic outing with family. Lots picnic tables and space to spread out. Not a great place for a long hike or bike ride.

It's more of a picnic spot. I think one can start their bike trail from this location: Ride to Elgin then down to Aurora and finally back here.

Conveniently located and still very nice, but smaller and offers less than Blackwell or some other forest preserves a few miles away.
