The food is delicious and it is always a good experience eating here! The baked clams are one of the best I have tried and the hot lobster roll is delicious!! Sometimes it can be too buttery so just tell them not too much butter and all is amazing! Great price and service!

Very nice and convenient roadside stop for clams and lobsters of all kinds: ckams on the half, baken clams, fried clams and scallops, chowders, lobster rolls, broiled and stuffed! Fries are A+ Also had homemade chicken fingers and grilled cheese for the kids. The atmosphere is very long island summer side of the road perfect. Small place, open and bright with fiah and local art on the walls. Crushed shell parking lot right off rt 80, about 3 miles from exit 52 on sunrise hwy. Very nice people here.

I have been eating at Varneys since I was a little kid. My mom loved the French Onion soup. Now, I take my family and we all love it. The food, the staff and the coziness. Lobster rolls are a must

I wasn't really expecting much as I peered into the small 'well kept' restaurant on the side of the road, yet it was truly a mistake to judge it from its outlier appearance. Not only was the food delicious, but the interior was quite magnificent in my opinion; something I didn't expect at first glance. The service was also excellent, as mentioned from previous comments. Prices are good and I'll definitely be visiting again ✨

Had a wonderful time at this little gem after strawberry picking at Glover Farms. The fish sandwich was terrific and the atmosphere was quaint. The service was kind and attentive, and informed us this place has been around for 42 years! We will be back!

Steamed seafood on a bed of linguine and freshly toasted bread was absolutely delicious! Friendly and fast services too.

Informal, outrageously good food, great service. I enjoyed the fish tacos and baked clams. If the waitress suggests the local scallops, don't hesitate! They are wonderful.

Nice little find in Bellport. Came in with party of 4 - their website does not say anything about reservations, but definitely call and make one. Service started out a little slow, but super friendly with helpful recommendations. We had the lobster rolls (hot with butter), Philly steak sandwich and fish tacos. The lobster rolls went over well and fish tacos got two thumbs up. The Philly was more like a hot roast beef and was good, but a little too heavy on the gravy - made it feel very heavy. Three of us went for dessert - rice pudding and mousse. All seemed to enjoy them. The atmosphere here is fun and friendly. Prices are OK - a little on the higher side, but not crazy - lobster rolls going for $36, but that's MP I suppose.

It’s a quaint little place in the middle of an unexpected area in Brookhaven NY on Long Island and these Lobster rolls with the most amazing slaw I have ever had were delicious. Topped that with two cold bud lights with my beautiful wife and honestly I would drive back from Texas to have them again!! Thanks for delicious surprise!
