This coffee shop is definitely a hidden gem in Middletown. It will be easy to miss the entrance as it sits inside a seems like abandoned warehouse. But once going inside, you’ll find its very spacious and well decorated. There are a bunch of sitting tables and chairs. The coffee is strong and tasty. Unfortunately the scones were sold out today. Will definitely come back.

This place is dope. Very skateshop/counter-culture vibe. Coffee was fantastic. I had a pour-over from...Honduras, I think. Loved it. Bought a few bags of beans on the way out. Can't wait to go back.

Rolled up here in the wee hours of a foggy Thursday morning. I was the only person in the spot. Think about literally your favorite skate shop, but serves bomb coffee. They rock those great punk rock hits at a volume appropriate with the morning. Sum41, blink182.. the classic jams from the good Era of music. Definitely worth a stop. Coffee is solid. Skate-on Perkatory! Keep the dream alive. If I'm ever in the hood again I'll definitely be back.

This is a place I never knew I needed to exist, but I am so glad it does. The name and theme are so cute - who doesn’t love a spooky coffee moment? Inside was such a unique and fun experience that I had to buy a commemorative t-shirt. For my drink I got an almond latte. Again, never knew I needed to combine almond syrup with coffee but here we are and my world has been changed. I am so glad that there are a few locations in CT. I will be checking the other ones out.

I was there on 10/9/18 and I had a coffee and muffin both were very good. The lady behind the counter was very helpful and pleasant. At the time I was there the selection of pastry was limited and I am assuming that is because they may not be fully up and running to where they want to be. But, what they did have was good and I will be stopping by when I am in the North end of town.

My favorite coffee shop ever! The style of the shop and the flavors they come up with are all fantastic! I also love that they have dairy-free options that are just as tasty as the regular drinks.

Such a cool coffee shop 🤩 and LOVE that you get 2 options for drip coffee (light-medium roast and dark roast). Had the dark (New England Roast) with oatmilk and lavender syrup- it was perfect 😋. Will have to go back and try the baked goods, and maybe pick up one of those tarot tees 😍.

FAVORITE coffee shop in the world. They do such great cold brew, my partner & I love it there. We always buy tons of bags of coffee to bring home since we’re not local. Wonderfully friendly staff, lots of parking, always very quick service, cool merch, lovely atmosphere.

Atmosphere had great vibes, decorated for Halloween and my kiddos loved it. They have pretty much any kind of coffee and combinations you could think of. I got a medium iced cold brew with hazelnut in it, topped with cold foam with pumpkin flavor in it. It was amazing. We’ll definitely be back!

First time coming to Perkatory and I have to same I am very impressed, very spacious lay out. I love how they incorporate their rustic factory feel with the modernesc feel of a coffee shop. Below are some images I enjoyed taking with my girlfriend during our experience here, the staff were very friendly and kind our drinks came out almost right after we ordered Learning that all of their straws and cups were organic and recyclables made me very pleased, it’s hard to find a good coffee shop that also cares about the environment. Their flavors are great, their tea is also tremendous And I know it doesn’t seem like a lot to ask for but their bathrooms are spotless and I truly TRULY love that

Probably the best iced lavender latte I’ve ever had. Excellent coffee and very cool spot.

Went to Perkatory for the first time this morning. Friendly service and cool atmosphere - heavy skater vibes. I got a cold brew with the cold foam and honestly it was the best cold brew I’ve had since moving to CT in October. I’ll definitely be back!

Always excellent americanos, oat lattes, and espressos. It’s rare to find a cafe that’s great for takeout but also serves delicious coffee in a ceramic cup when you can stick around to drink. Interior is comfortable, welcoming, celebrates skate culture. And there’s a dog-safe area to sit with the pup. 💯

For some reason, even though I live right up the road in Rocky Hill, I somehow only end up at Perkatory only once or twice a year. But today I was on a mission. A mission for their holiday beverages. I got an iced pepp mocha that was absolutely divine and then an iced eggnog to go for tomorrow since who knows when the next time I make it in will be. All their coffee is so tasty and they have the coolest chalkboard art for the lattes I’ve seen anywhere. Such a cool vibe inside, I def need to make an effort to stop by more often.

Great atmosphere and equally great staff. The coffee, hot and cold, is top notch. For any skate-boarder, punk rocker and 90's enthusiasts, this place is for you. ☕🤙

So happy to now have an office in Middletown. One main reason is Perkatory! Everything about this place is so good! The drinks the baked goods, the atmosphere and the staff love to serve you. Ask and they proudly will share what they love and I have never been disappointed!!!

Great staff, decor and drinks !! I had the apple pie late and it was like a warm apple pie in a coffee version! I've talked about this for days and would drive to this location daily if we lived closer for an amazing coffee, and great staff. Thank you!

I love Perkatory. I think the ambiance is great, music is great, and coffee drinks are solid. Having worked at other coffee shops, you can't go wrong with Perkatory overall. I have one complaint though, regarding how they close the store. As a customer there I have left several times with a bad taste in my mouth. My wife and I have come and camped for the afternoon to work on things. I like to read or work on homework in the lobby, but have on several occasions felt like I was being pushed out of the cafe at close earlier than the advertised hours. What I mean is, if they say they close at 5pm, the staff will begin closing tasks early, like 4 or 4:15. This would be fine, except they do like vacuuming, mopping, or cleaning the bathrooms a full hour before they close the lobby. I've seen them stack chairs and move tables to mop thirty to forty minutes before the lobby closes, and one time closed the bathrooms a full hour before closing. This often leaves me feeling unwanted as a customer in the lobby. Like I said, overall Perkatory is great, I've just been disappointed this way multiple times.

This is truly the best coffee in Connecticut. So much so, I am a wholesaler of Perkatory beans in my own mini coffee shop.
