To be fair, updated/edited review after resolving everything in person several months after my stay with hotel. Rooms: beds are a little high for people who have trouble lifting themselves onto a bed (elderly, etc). Overall it’s average hotel to stay at. At face value it’s obvious, a hotel that has a bed and shower, plus close from 495 interstate. Booking: I did not have a pleasant experience at first, booked with Expedia, and only stayed one of the three nights. Promised refund at check-in/out but later they declined to refund. It took months back and forth between front desk and Expedia with no refund. Hotels policy is cancel/change booking 72-hrs prior, but Expedia and hotel clerk never said that or showed it to me in writing. Half year later, upon visiting the location and speaking with front desk and Expedia, the hotel conceded to refund the nights I did not stay. Rob tried to be fair, and has a good heart, so it’s only fair I updated this review too.

When we arrived at the check in desk, motel staff informed us they had canceled our booking without notice and asserted that the motel was now fully booked, turning us out on the street near midnight. At this time, their own website listed they had rooms available. Rather than rebook, we decided to find accommodation elsewhere.

I don’t typically give opinions, but stay away from here. Cig holes in the sheets in a non smoking room, yes smoking rooms in 2023, they charge 100 dollars more for non smoking and don’t separate the laundry. 100 Per night. No soap nor shampoo in the room. Shower curtain too short and bleeds through the side. Brown and yellow stains on the ironing board. Sketchy area and people in the rooms.

It's a nice place to spend a couple of nights. Its decently clean andhv conveniently located on Northern Blvd. However you must make sure that if you request a non-smoking room, the room doesn't smell of smoke of any kind. Sometimes some rooms reake of cigarettes.

If there would be an option to give 0 stars l, I would. The worst nasty hotel ever! We booked the hotel by accident and didn’t realized it’s a smoking room. We didn’t check in because the hotel is a disaster. We requested the refund but the manager rejected. It’s such a horrible hotel. Manhasset is a shame to have a nasty hotel like this. DO NOT BOOK THIS HOTEL! It’s a SPAM!

omg the dirtiest sketches place we have ever been in. stay away. I can't believe a hotel chain is willing to have its name attached to such an awful property. can't wait for the morning to come so we can bolt out of here.

WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!!!! Worst place I ever visited, no hospitality given. The front desk guy is very rude, do not respect the guest. Be aware of this guy BOB don’t have gratification for tourist. Please stay away from this place. Have poor communication skills. I don’t know why these kind of people are hired from India for packages Bob was argumentative and discourteous with me and my wife. DO NOT EXPECT GOOD SERVICE HERE because it is like comparing apples to oranges, maybe this is also the reason why the service is cheap as well.

They continuously charge your credit card even after you have checked out. Very shady and will not give you their names when trying to rectify situation. Place is dirty with blood stains on bedding. The front desk is rude and treats you like you are not even a person. Horrible.

Do not stay here. Office is rude and does not care. Been here since 12/30/21 and have not been able to sleep through the night. Music blasting upstairs, people fighting and falling and banging on the floors. Office told me its not their problem to speak with the day person. Please if you want a good, clean, decent place to stay, do not waste your money here. Office told lady upstairs, my room called to complain and now they are banging on the floors and yelling she will come beat me up. Please do not use this hotel!

I've stayed here for work several times in the past 6 years and will continue to stay here. It is a fair price, room was clean and safe. I understand it's price point and I think it is a great value for it's price. It is the only hotel in the area with any sort of budget in mind. About a 10 min walk to the Manhasset LIRR, and there is a couple restaurants in that area if you don't want to drive and worry about parking etc.

Superb budget hotel. Stayed here 3 separate times due to work and it’s always a good experience. Rooms are clean, and all rooms include a microwave/fridge/coffee maker. They also provide smoking rooms which is fantastic. I stayed in 2 different smoke rooms and both felt very fresh, which was a pleasant surprise. Hotel is in a very safe neighborhood and the hotel itself is always quiet. There isn’t much to do/eat near the hotel except for a 24 hour gas station down the block, which does provide quite a few different options for food, like fresh sandwiches or frozen dinners. The hotel does always have a ice machine & vending machines for snacks and sodas. Check-in was also very quick and straight forward. And for this being a budget hotel, it’s a great deal. I booked all my rooms under $90 bucks each separate time. I am however giving 4 stars due to the fact that they advertise “breakfast” in the morning but they do not. They only have coffee in the lobby, provided by Mr.Bob.

Waiting on Wyndham to respond, following up with manager at 11am. Multiple issues. Requesting refund. Update: Wyndham says they don't I terrine after cops were called. Well the employee called the cops on me to try to back him up that he didn't need to give me a refund, they documented that the room was trashed and with bugs. Management still hasn't called me and it's September. Likely about to spend the time and effort to take them to court. A hotel inspection is necessary here to assess the thousands of dollars in fines due.

Nice, Simple People. Good Communication and friendly behaviour from the owner and Bob. The room is outdated and few things lack like Facial tissues, Toothpaste, not enough towel etc, maybe due to pandemic, but has Fridge and Microwave which is very usefu. Has no elevator only because of small space, but overall it's good. The location was good too.

The employee who checked me in was very nice, at check-out the other employee who was there at the time was also very correct. The reception needs a renovation, it gives a bad impression, but then I was very satisfied with the stay. The room was clean, the quality of the equipment was not the best, but everything was there as promised and according to the price relative to other hotels in the area I would say that the value for money is good. The area is very good, the LIRR station is only 0.5 miles apart and in 29 minutes you can reach the center of Manhattan. Complimentary coffee at reception failed, I only saw it available on the last day, no problem for me anyway because the room had a small coffee maker which worked great. It was hard to find a parking place, because I thought that the parking space was only what is in front of the hotel, but then I saw that there is much more space in the back (it would be good if they put some sign, or if they mention it to the guest when making check-in). As the hotel has more of a motel-type architecture and the room that I had was facing the street, it would have been good if it had a translucent curtain in addition to the black-out, so that the entire interior of the room is not visible from the street to the open to let in a little light. In short, with its ups and downs, I was very satisfied with my stay (it is worth clarifying that my expectations were not very high due to the comments I read before, but after my own experience I believe that the criticisms are exaggerated and in some cases unjustified).

It’s really a nice place to stay in New York. This was my first time to be here, by staying here, I got everything I needed, convenient transportation, clean room, helpful staff etc… What’s more, very good price. I strongly recommend this hotel.

The room was clean and comfortable!! The only issue I have was the balcony can use some painting!! The location is great and the service was good. I have been to this hotel couple times before and I always enjoyed my stay!!

I’m most impressed with Bob at the front desk - he is so accommodating and friendly. This place is being updated on exterior nicely so I know it will be even better but I’m very satisfied with the rooms as every one is updated and has all you need. Staff is great. This hotel is a favorite.

We chose not to stay here. We asked the front desk to see a room. He was very nice. But wanted to make sure we wouldn't touch anything. We assured him we would. There's no elevator so we went up the stairs, only to find that the very old rug had a big cutout in it. The railing was rusty. Everything looked dated. The baseboards were missing. There was putty on the wall. We turned around and nicely told the front desk gutiere weren't interested. He asked if we saw the room. We didn't. So,we can't comment on the rooms. The exterior looks nice, from what we could see at night.

Worst hotel to stay. People were playing noisy audios whole night. No response front desk to help. If you want peaceful sleep choose different hotel not this one. Worst experience and sleepless night.

I chose 1 because 0 is not an option. I requested a nonsmoking room last Friday and the room was deplorable. I would rather sleep under the subway than that nasty place. They ran my card for 3 days without my permission so I filed a claim with my bank. U have to be desperate with low self esteem to stay there

Indian men are racist! Treat humans as if we arent giving them our money. They should go back to India. Rude. Rooms are nice.

Olde motel style. Felt iffy for solo female traveler- maze to get to room at night. Very, dated , though they have tried some upgrades. My shower handle was not attached /could not shower after traveling, no TV stations, for safety could hear nothing when called to front desk, Parking lot on weekend night very tight, competing with valet from restaurant next door. Front desk man, Roger, was very nice & sheets were clean, but I would not stay again.

I stayed 4 days there. never gave me fresh towels. never fixed my bed. I had to throw out my own trash in the outside container. I left my trash outside the manager told me not to leave it outside the room.

The receptionist gave me two packets of the hot coffee after I inquired about the name. The coffee is phenomenal! I recommend this place if you need a cheap place to stay. The list below showcases the good and bad: Pros: excellent coffee, free wifi and parking, cheap, long-term options, discounts, and nice staff. Cons: The wifi lags at times, no breakfast, your cell phone doesn't connect well in the suite, and you can hear people walking above you (they sound like elephants).

Service was great! My flight arrived super early and I was exhausted from lack of sleep. They worked quickly to get a room cleaned, then contacted me to let me know it was ready hours before my check in time. Super appreciated! It is also very conveniently located near the Manhasset LIRR station, which saved me from having to rent a car.

Awesome place , took a smoking room and was surprisingly smelling good I side. Did not smell at all as a smoking room. Place was nice and clean and staff were helpful with a smooth check-in process.

My friend booked room on Internet, for two double beds. She got confirmation. When we arrived told it was only one bed would cost more. I think night guy was lining his own pocket.

Really enjoyed my multi-night stay at this Travelodge! The staff was very helpful; room cleaned with fresh towels etc. daily. Amazing location. My room on the back of the hotel (opposite the road, near trees) was peaceful. It seems like an older hotel that the owners are working (gradually?) to update. Cost-effective for the area, and I felt safe and the room felt clean. Would stay there again, and am glad to recommend it!

Very accommodating during last weekend’s storm. Stayed 2 nights because I needed to work in a local venue for the weekend, room very clean coffee in room plus in lobby for cold snowy morning. Definitely recommended this place to my co workers especially when wedding season starts. I felt safe driving 5 miles rather than the 30 to my home.

Wanna commend Mr Bob, he's a very good man. He made our stay memorable through his humane services. This hotel is good, the rooms, and their services are nice. Would lodge there when next I visit the New York City.
