Came here for a friend's birthday dinner. I'll start with the positives. Place is really big and can accommodate large parties easily. There's a dj and I believe at 11 it turns into a full lounge. They are also mandating vaccination cards. You have to have the app downloaded with your QR code or wear a mask. Staff was pretty nice and helpful. . . . Now the negatives. Out of our entire party only three people received meals that were hot, everyone else got food that was cold. -For the prices that are being charged, portions were tiny. Ordered the salmon meal with mashed potatoes and besides it being cold there was just about 3/4 bites of potato on the plate. -Not only was the salmon cold, it was bland. It was supposed to have a spicy mango sauce, it did not. It was just a cold flavor less mess. -Ordered a side of cream spinach it was super salty, and cold. -The asparagus that was to come with my meal came out about 10 minutes after my initial meal came out. -Someone got their meal about 20 minutes after most of us got ours. -Someone never got their meal at all. Maybe it was an off night in the kitchen, perhaps just incompetence. I'll never know as I'll never go back. I do appreciate the manager making adjustments to the bill after I spoke with him. Overall if you don't care about flavor, warmth of your food or getting your meal at all, then check the place out.

The vibe in this club is pretty energetic. The music was great but towards the end of the night (2 or 3 am) the music started repeating. The music also became very tic toky and trendy. The drinks are great but overpriced (14 bucks). They offer hookah and it is 40 bucks. The staff are very kind and welcoming. The bathroom was clean and overall the environment was 9.5/10. I would definitely come back.

Came for a birthday party ambience was Great and accommodated, the appropriate amount of people . Staff was friendly, except for the blonde manager or owner I’m not even sure how her staff still works for her. She was extremely unprofessional and rude her body language was as if she was about to fight every time she spoke to an employee. I get it she had a full venue but didn’t have enough workers We had a prefix brunch menu we waited a long time to get served then our drinks were served in pitchers watered down. Cake was served. They gave us no utensils. We had no other choice but to pick up the cake with a straw and use as a fork

The service was okay, the calamari was great but my entree was absolutely unacceptable. Before i even bit into my food i can smell how undress and funky the salmon was. I got the penne pasta and decided to add a salmon fillet to it. The fish smelled so funky… i decided maybe i should just try it and see. My stomach turned after i took one bite. i never in my life tasted salmon like that before. it tasted expired and smelled so horrid. for them to have served that to me is not only disrespectful, it is unbelievable and violates health hazards… This was so disappointing i expect way more from an nyc steakhouse. Seems to me like the chef did not care & after i expressed how inedible my food was nothing was done to accommodate me. I spent $72 on mid drinks, mid service & horrible food. The only thing good about this place was the DJ

Hood rat place I repeat hood rat place I have given this place many chances but the people they choose to bring to this place or drag to this place have no respect for the community, the staff do not inform their customers of noise control when leaving the club. And the service as a whole just sucks that’s why this place can’t survive as a nice classy place because these people don’t know how to act. This place has tried to do brunch but they make no money off it because their targeted audience is too hung over to go to brunch so they can only make money as being a club open at night.

Vistes cavali for my first time and was totally impressed as the service was one of top class from the moment I arrived. People where very knowledgeable and pleasant the service beyond excellent and the food amazing best way I can describe it. The atmosphere was perfect very Manhattan like but with a touch of perfection music pleasant as they play all kinds of music. Thank you cavali for an amazing experience and just know we will be back. Keep up the great job.

This was supposed to be a birthday celebration that turned out to be very bad. This place they don’t care about the people and the service shows and how they don’t care food was not properly cooked and spent over $130. I asked for them to re-cook the food or change the orders because the food was cold or wasn’t done and they told me there was nothing that they can do. I would not recommend this place to anybody they need better service they need people to talk to people better no customer service whatsoever. I got a VIP table and I’m mad that was a VIP table that was little Everybody didn’t even couldn’t sit there. Everybody couldn’t put the drink down. It was crazy.

Service is 5 stars because our bartender understood the assignment and definitely got tipped nicely! The wings smelled gracious but they were tasteless I couldn't understand how that can be lol! Went there Friday night and it was just a chill night for me and my friends. Place was literally empty until about 2am. The dj was okay he can be taught a thing or two ab9ut mixing.

We went for a birthday brunch and they did not disappoint. Drinks were good, hookah on point and Kiki our waitress was nothing short of amazing. Thank You!

My 3 friends and I went to Cavali for brunch at 4:45pm — it was VERY empty in there. We all order Penne alla vodka — two of us get chicken and the other two get shrimp. When the bill comes it’s $242.74 because it’s $12 for shrimp and $6 for chicken which we weren’t advised of while ordering. The menu on the website is not complete therefore the penne alla vodka isn’t on there. So the manager (I assume) comes to us and starts off by saying “when you go to a restaurant…” and we had to stop him there because this isn’t our first time at a restaurant and he’s not about to insult us. They need to update their website and train their staff to let customers know there’s an extra charge for shrimp/ chicken

Went for Love Saturdays. The tickets said everyone is free until 1am. We got there before 1am and they said it's only ladies free, men have to pay 40 cash after 12am. We ask the man scanning tickets why it says everyone 1am and he rudely cuts us off and says that's how it is. He gave us no real reason as to why the tickets were changed at the door without notice. Then we see if it was bias or not but he still made every man after us pay 40 dollars. We left and never entered. Even a bottle girl asked us what's going on and instead of helping, she said oh okay and walked away when we explained how the ticket guy was making up new rules. If you can't afford everyone free entry until 1am then don't offer it every weekend.

Not sure if this venue caters to a later crowd, but I arrived around 8:30pm for dinner and it was completely empty. One other table was occupied shortly after my arrival. Paid reservation required prior to arrival. The waiter was very pleasant, can't remember his name. The ambiance is amazing! It gives off celebrity vibes and is extremely huge with private sections for parties, etc.... The food was not good and I was highly disappointed. I ordered the grilled salmon with mashed potatoes and veggies. The salmon was very salty, the veggies were, blah but the mashed potatoes were ok. I cant say I'll be returning.

Don’t do a Friday here. We got a table it was dope in the beginning but the second DJ played ONLY super slow songs after 2am. Not worth the price of a table. The place completely cleared out. Much better spots to buy a table.

Terrible terrible customer service. My friend and I had tickets that said guys were free until 1am. Even though we came before the time they still tried to charge us general admission. The guy had a stank attitude and the other employees completely ignored our concerns. I don’t know if it was because my friend and I was queer but we felt violated. I understand that some people may not like their jobs but take that pessimistic energy elsewhere and stop taking your frustrations on other people. I wish nothing but the worse for those employees who treated us like that. I would have have place -10 stars if I could. Don’t waste your time nor money on here.

The spot was ok. It was a more younger crowd than for myself and my friends. It wasn't too crowded. We were placed at a table by the bar which was cool and out of the way of all the other party goers. They have hookah which was good as well. I also noticed the maintenance team keeping things clean around the dance floor. We needed the same service in the bathroom.

Came to celebrate my friends bday had fun! The place gives a lounge vibe. Good for groups. Unlimited mimosas with brunch menu

The food I would say was very mid.. the steak was good but they need better Mac and cheese ..and maybe better calamari..the food in my opinion some of the dishes stood out while the others was not worth it. Drinks was good they was made very strong and the prices was affordable 👌

Had my Wife's Birthday at Cavali on Saturday night and was pleasantly surprised. We had reservations for 6 people yet had to add 2 which was easily accommodated. Our Server Kiera was on the ball anticipating all our needs, Her suggestion of the rum punch was perfect. If you're hungry definitely get the porterhouse for two, cooked to perfection. Finished the night with the lava cake for my Wife's special day. We will definitely return, this is how a restaurant should operate. Thanks again

Came here for my birthday brunch on Sunday it was really nice, the DJ was playing good music had me dancing the whole time I was there lol and the food was good. Definitely would come back.

Beautiful atmosphere, with a VIP vibe throughout. There were 4 private parties going on, and each group received special attention. One of the co-owners came to our table and introduced himself, then took a few minutes to speak w/each of us individually. He went that extra mile to make everyone feel special. The white sangria was the star of the evening. It was potent & delicious. Hubby & I only ordered appetizers: wings, nachos, fried shrimp & fries, spinach dip. There was nothing special about the food, it wasn't bad, but it wasn't good either. I would probably go back because I would love to try their mimosa & sangria brunch. Hopefully, there's a different chef.

The food is good, drinks are good, music was good could’ve been a little louder. Our server she was great always asking if we needed something the only thing is it takes too long to get the food. The hookah was good favorite flavor is watermelon. Love the environment, the place is big.

Came here for my friend's birthday. We waited 45 mins to be seated for a reservation that had a paid deposit. We waited almost 2 hours to eat. I ordered chicken and waffles. For $40, I expected the chicken to have the bone in, not a skinny cutlet. Then to top it off, no syrup with the plate. It was honey. Girl bye! They lucky the drinks were decent. First and last time.

Went here for a friend birthday! We had a great time and the music was great! They just took a very long time with our food and our drinks! It took almost 40 minutes for the drinks until we went to the bar and asked for then! I honestly believe they were probably short staffed so I will give this place another try! But other than that I saw the potential.

Beautiful atmosphere, food was good, drinks were good. Music/ nightlife was cool. Would recommend.

We went here for my friend's birthday and the manager Lee was amazing he catered to us every minute of the way. He made us feel special. You guys definitely should come here. Shout out to our waiterYusef he was amazing as well.

I came with the family and it's a very nice location, the food was delicious. My waitress was really nice and check on us a couple times as well. Wine where really good. Overall very good place, I will come back.

Overall, I enjoyed our experience. They did take the time to make the table ready, the main course was good, the staff was caring. I’d love to visit again. I'd recommend it as a nice place to go with friends, or family. Do try their famous spicy chicken wings.

One of the best meals of my life. This restaurant is for food lovers looking for a top class dining experience. Every dish was exquisite, staffs were incredibly gracious, and dessert was a delight.

we went to this place last night for 2 birthday celebrations. we bought bottles and a table, tickets, and the birthday tickets. we get there around 11:44 and there was not a big line at all, only a couple people, but the bouncer told us to wait outside for our table. we told him we also had tickets and he still told us to wait. we're waiting and are getting impatient so we remind him we had tickets and then he tells us just to go inside. there's another person in the front and he tells us since it's past 12 we have to pay extra to get inside even though we already paid for tickets, paid for our bottles and table and were there before 12. we told him that we've been here just waiting because of what the bouncer told us but he was adamant on making us pay. when i eventually gave the guy the money, he upped the price another $20. they didn't even let the birthday boy in with their birthday ticket and made him pay. horrible communication from the people in the front. the bouncer, the person who stand in the front right when you get in, and the person behind the counter were all oblivious to what each other were doing and what they were telling the customers. horrible customer service. they need to learn to be more clear and not contradict themselves every time. you shouldn't have to get 3 different responses from 3 different people working at the same place. and scamming your customers of even more money than they already gave you. to give some pros. dj was on point and music was great. the venue was good and bathrooms were clean and honestly were available and open for both men and women. cavali, do better on your communication with your customers. especially new customers because there's definitely a bias at this place. teach your bouncers how to communicate with each other and to the people you're serving, it would have been a perfect night if it weren't for them. the bouncers are the problem.

A bit of a long review. We went there Saturday night for my friend’s birthday. She made the reservation 3 weeks in advance thinking that we were going to get a better section, wrong! We were a party of 10 and when we arrived, they had us waiting in the entrance to pay for the bottles before we were sat down. They also had another big party in the entrance, plus the people that was coming out of dinner. Very disorganized. They tried to attend two parties at once and there was barely any space to stand. They had us there waiting for over 30 minutes like we didn’t have reservations. After they finally let us in, they were stamping everyone in our group, and when my last friend tried to get the stamp, they told us that parties are up until 9 people and the 10th person has to pay. They clearly did this on purpose since girls come in for free and he’s a guy, plus not letting us know beforehand when we made the reservation. We were waiting for my friend as he was about to pay and I try asking him what was going on and the security guard was blocking me from talking to him and was being extremely rude to me saying “that’s in the pass, move on, let him do what he gotta do.” They clearly do not care about the people coming in and they want to find any reason to kick you out. We finally all get in and they gave us a section that can only fit 3 people. They told us that their tables don’t go by party size nor how early you reserve but by the amount of bottles you order. We ordered the birthday package and we were planning on ordering more bottles as the night went on, but we had to pay for an extra bottle at the spot just to be moved up to a better section. They took a whole hour to bring our bottles out, and 3-4 parties came in after us and they got their bottles first. The dj was only paying hip hop for most of the night, nothing special. We still tried to make the best out of the night after we got our bottles, but they definitely killed the vibe by being disrespectful and disorganized and just terrible with their service. Their bottle service is expensive as well and they’re not a high end club like the ones in the city to be charging that much imo. If I’m being honest with you, there’re way better clubs in the whole Steinway strip where you can have a better time and your money worth. I would definitely not go back there. For what it’s worth, now I know where not to go 🤷🏻‍♀️

False advertising, overbooked, only having a good time if you’re spending money and paying the bouncers. Marketed A boogie appearance and he never showed. Advertised free champagne, never delivered. Advertised 3 hour open bar, only got 2 hours of time when the event started at 9pm and we didn’t get let in until 9:45pm. Such a disappoint and waste of money. Better off going to Manhattan next time

I went for NYE. Paid $100 to see a boogie just to watch him drink in a section. They advertised a 3hr open bar but with the lack of bartenders and huge crowd it was hard to get more than 2-3 drinks. Every staff member I communicated with had an attitude. They forced us to pay to take our coats off so they can hold them and when we went inside we saw other people with jackets. Overall bad experience and I’m never going back.
